Great local bar. Most of the bartenders are good but Ms. Courtney is awesome on Saturday and Monday nights. They have a decent bar menu too. Till 2 am

This is a nice looking place for a «dive» bar. Unfortunately, we went here for happy hour today and didn’t have the best experience. Their website says $ 2.75 for all bar drinks and beers until 7pm. We got there at 6pm and asked what they had for happy hour. The bartender said bottled domestic beers are $ 3 and daught beer is $ 4. Got the check and handwritten onto the printed receipt were 4 tally marks and $ 4.50. I asked the bartender about this and she said, «oh no, draughts are $ 4.50.» Very disappointed because we came in because of the website, and then found out the bartender staight up mislead us about the prices. Never trust someone with a fake accent who won’t give you a legitamite receipt.(Ps Irish nachos are good.)

Came here a few weeks back on my way home from work to get a bite to eat. The bartender was very nice. I ordered the wings. They were tasty but very small. The overall ambience of the place isn’t anything to rave about. Nothing really stood out. Doubt I’ll be back.

Came here are few times. It’s small, Divey and smelled like beer. Very young crowd. Nothing really that special about this place– I could take it or leave it but I’m more going to go somewhere else.

Was there last night, watched them serve a pregnant woman who then started a fight with me. Been here before and it’s always been good but after almost being involved in a pregnant lady brawl… I gotta drop those stars. Shame though because I used to come here quite a bit. I’d go to Shamrocks, less drama and zero obviously pregnant chicks as of yet, but I’ll keep an eye out incase this is an epidemic.

This is a great local«dive bar». But please don’t misunderstand, I use the word«dive bar» with respect and kindness. It’s the kind of bar that serves inexpensive drinks in a bare bones setting without pomp and pageantry. And unlike most definitions of dive-bar, Paddy’s is clean and bright. I like to come here when I’m bored, sad, broke or disgusted. I like to come here when i’m lonely or just want to be alone(but not really). I also like to come here when when I’m happy and content within my own skin. It’s a great place to just BE. During the day, it’s a classic«old-man bar» where everyone greets each other warmly and discusses the events of their day. At a certain hour, a faux whistle blows and all the regulars are replaced by collegians. I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of picking up my offspring here at closing time and I couldn’t believe the transformation. Goody for Paddy, he can successfully cater to two separate genres. What’s nice about Paddy’s is that the bartenders are wonderful and everyone knows my name They even have a tap bar named after me! LOL!

When it comes to dive bars, paddy power really is as good as it gets. Located on one of the main streets in Merrick it is steps away from the LIRR so no need for a DD! Show your face once a week and the bartenders will coincidentally start remembering your favorite drinks, how you like your wings(super spicy) and even hold your bag behind the bar. Thursday night karaōke during the summer brings a particularly rowdy crowd with an eclectic sound ranging through every genre of music. Always entertaining but the wait list can get long pretty fast so I recommend getting there early. As for the food it is standard pub food but always consistent and never disappointing. Highly recommend it for a good night out where you don’t have to try and impress anyone and can just have fun.

What can I say, this place rocks! Cheap drinks, yummy cocktails and great bar staff! One particular bartender is great, Vinny… as him to make you a ghetto sangria, so good! The food is very good for pub grub. I go down for 10 cents wings on a Wednesday night… you really can’t 10 cents for wings and $ 2.50 for a beer! Check it out, highly recommended!

Paddy Power isn’t just your average run of the mill Long Island pub. It’s more than that. For one the bartenders are awesome and they never fail to use a heavy hand with their pours.* Plenty of decent beers on tap and the drink specials are certainly noteworthy.** I’ve had their food a few times — it’s your standard pub fare, but it’s actually quite good. The crowd is always friendly — even when it gets unbearably crowded. Go here for the cheap drinks and to meet up with friends, watch a game, and laugh at the drunk fools doing karaōke! *Tip them well! ** Happy Hour from 11:30am — 7pm Sundays/Mondays — 20 cent wings and beer specials during games. Tuesdays — $ 2.50 beers and half price snacks. Wednesdays — $ 2.50 drafts and 10 cent wings. Thursdays — Ladies Night — $ 2.50 drinks for ladies, $ 2.50 Miller & Bud drafts for guys(also karaōke night). Fridays — $ 2.50 Bud Lights Saturdays — $ 2.50 Miller draft and bottles

Been here well over 100 times. Bartenders are Friendly as hell, Drink specials are amazingly cheap. The Happy Hour is great. Food is What you would expect form a Pub. Only thing i can say«bad» about it, is Karaōke on Thursday nights. If you like Karaōke, then its the place to be, If not, Its loud and crowded with awful singing drunks. This has become my regular spot, even though it’s a bit out of my way.

This place is a local dive bar. I went here a few years back when it was called the«M Bar.» Pretty much the same deal, except there is more good stuff on the menu and the staff is friendlier. A nice local place to meet up with friends, eat a good burger, and grab a few brews at a fair price. It’s visually a well-appointed place with lots of wood and well-kept bathrooms. Review based a few Friday night visits in the past year.
