Hokkaido Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

I did a review about 5 months ago. Since then we have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. We’ve done the hibachi about 5 – 6 times and every time the food is phenomenal. The scallops, shrimp, and calamari are so fresh it’s obvious they get as many of their ingredients from the local port as they can. I can’t speak to the quality of their meat as we don’t eat land animals but those we’ve brought with us say it’s fantastic and prepared properly.
Their lunch Bento Boxes are great deals and the food is awesome. And we’ve had plenty of take aways including soups and sashimi. Always packaged properly with no leaks. I prefer eating there however, because the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and super clean. Very modern and shiny. This is a family favorite and is always packed in the evenings and peak lunch times.

Since I moved to Titusville from Melbourne I have been seriously lacking any good options for hibachi unless I wanted to drive 45 minutes south. But lo and behold I heard that this place had opened and just in time for valentines.
The restaurant itself has a great modern look, dont been turned off by the condition of the shopping center that it is in, its much more impressive on the inside.
Food quality is excellent, I had the fantasy roll before the hibachi and it was great, and the ingredients for the main course itself really tasted fresh and was much less greasy than other Hibachi’s I have been to. Im not the biggest fan of noddles with hibachi but that is just personnel taste, though compared to Tokyo’s in Cocoa Beach it was better quality in almost every way.
Price was comparable to other hibachi’s around, about fifty bucks for myself and my wife with the sushi and drinks.
Our server was great, the only complaint I have is the front end hostess, very rude. I had made a reservation four days in advance and when I arrived she said she did not see my reservation, when I objected she pretty much acted is if I was lying and tried to play off getting a table for us as a favor to us… Yeah no… That was the first impression we had of the restaurant but every other aspect of it made up for her crass attitude.
