I have been going to Amber for almost 5 years now and I LOVE her and the work she does. Not only is Amber a licensed esthetician, she is also the founder of NEESA, an organization that sets the industry standard in lash application, care and certification. She also offers certification training for those who aspire to be a lash artist. So, she knows her stuff!
If you are looking for a really huge set of lashes that look like they are fake, then Amber may not be your gal. It all depends on what she has to start off with and what the weight of the lashes will do to the health of your natural lashes. After all, what good are lash extensions if ultimately, your own lashes become too damaged to support them? Too often, I see women with extensions that look tangled, messy and, well, fake. If I want fake looking lashes, I’ll glue on a strip of them from the local pharmacy. I want lush lashes that look like they are mine. And I want them to be maintenance free. And I want everyone to look at me and wonder if my amazing lashes are real or… are they?
Lash health is a real consideration. Years ago, I had eyeliner tattooed back before the technique was researched and refined. As a result, my lash follicles were damaged and now, my natural lashes are wimpy — sparse, short, and so fine you need a magnifier to see them. But somehow, Amber transforms those wimpy lashes into a full, lush row of lashes that look natural. And they make my eyes POP! I rarely bother with eye makeup anymore. Workdays are a breeze now that I don’t have to dress up my eyes to offset my own weak lash line. Even better, I wake up and still look made-​up. Love it!
I moved away for a year and tried two certified lash technicians (Xtreme and Novalash). One applied long, thick spidery lashes that were definitely an exaggeration of my natural lashes but by the very next day, many were tangled to such a degree that they were uncomfortable. I had them removed and after two more visits, gave up on that technician. The second technician was better. In fact, she was pretty good. But because the first technician applied such heavy lashes, my own were fairly damaged so the second tech didn’t have much to work with. Add to that, she was very conservative and only applied the thinnest, lightest lashes available. The result was that my lashes regained their health but I ended up with lashes that were still barely visible and wanted to coat them in mascara for a bigger look. It didn’t help that she was only able to apply one extension to each of my natural lashes. Incidentally, I spent an average of $ 400 for the first visit and then between $ 80 and $ 100 for fills. I don’t spend nearly that much with Amber.
Lucky for me, I moved back. Amber uses the perfect balance between lash health and a unique volume technique to give me the fullness I want without damaging my own lashes. Unlike most technicians who can only apply one lash to each natural lash, Amber uses her volume technique to apply three or four to each lash. She uses lighter lashes on me, which is how she is able to give me that fullness I want so much. Now, if you already have a pretty healthy set of lashes and just want to beef them up a little more, you can still opt for the Classic look. And, if you REALLY want to puff those lashes up, you can go for the super-​duper VA-​VA-​VOOM option too. I stick to the middle ground with the Volume option.
One more thing: Amber doesn’t just do lashes. She also can enhance your eyebrows through a revolutionary tattoo technique that make your brows look natural. Forget that outdated colour-​within-​the-​lines stuff. She strokes on fine lines to look like the actual hairs of your eyebrows. I no longer have to fill in my eyebrows with powder to shape them. I just wake up and they look terrific! I know I sound like an advertisement right now. I am a real client who is so grateful for Amber’s wonderful skills, I literally drive 45 minutes to visit her twice a month. She’s that good!

Amber is INCREDIBLE! She is very talented with lash extensions and giving the look that the client wants. Equally important to me is the knowledge, skills, expertise and care she puts into keeping my natural lashes healthy. Really. Once you go to her for lashes, you will never want to go anywhere else. And did i mention that she is super sweet and easy to talk to? Seriously, she’s amazing.

Finally! Someone in the valley who is able to give me natural looking lashes instead of super long, thick spidery looking things. Amber aims to please. It took a couple of tries since most people usually don’t ask for natural when doing this, but she was able to work with me to achieve the look that I wanted. No one has ever asked me if I have lash extensions on. They look THAT good!

I decided to invest in lashes again, because I heard Amber was different. I have had severe allergic reactions to lashes in the past. I am so glad I tried Amber. She is by far the Best! I am actually forgetting I have lashes, because they feel so natural. I am so happy! I have already referred Amber to friends and family. Amber is very talented and I am so glad I now know where to go.

I moved back from Vegas to Phoenix and was desperate to find a true professional lash artist. Lots of amateurs here in Phoenix/​Scottsdale. Amber is AMAZING! I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Amber is AMAZING! She really went above and beyond to insure I got the look I was wanting with my eyelashes. There are so many people doing eyelash extensions now that should not be, but from the moment I got on the phone with her (after being referred to her by another eyelash artist that could not fit me in). She was able to answer all of my questions and made me very at ease.
Her treatment room is very comfortable, clean, calming and inviting. One thing I will tell you, if you go to have your eyelashes done and you are not relaxed; you have gone to the wrong person! With Amber, you will always feel relaxed and comfortable and if at any time you do not — just let her know and she makes the necessary adjustments so you do.
I walked away with the most beautiful and «sassy» lashes any classy lady would want. I HIGHLY recomend Amber AND her services!
P. S. If you love dogs… she is a dog lover too! :) I am a big dog lover… so once I found out after I was at my apt she was too — I knew my intuition served me right. Any person that loves dogs is good people in my book!
