Starlite Motel

I stayed at the Starlite for three days, enjoying a quiet room with brick walls, a kitchen, a shower (with bathtub), pretty decent cable TV, wireless internet, and a reasonable rate. And I appreciated the management, too.
When I asked about wireless after I paid, I was given username and password for a week’s worth for free (normally, they charge nominal fee). And when I noted two lumpy pillows on the bed, the manager kindly added a thick, comfy pillow while I was gone. In short, I enjoyed my stay.
And I haven’t even gotten to the best part: the animated sign. Remembering a time when the Starlite once boasted a pool, the motel features a gorgeous animated diving girl plunging into cool water. Bring your video camera — this sign is one of the best in the country.
