I am so thankful I went to Rachel for my first ever wax! She made me feel so comfortable and explained the whole process to me allowing me to relax a little more. Since it was my first wax, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the waxing room was private and clean. I am so happy with my experience!

I have been going to see Rachel for my waxing needs for years. I followed her from one place to another, and I have to say, she is the best at what she does. She knows what she is doing, and is simply incredible. If I could give her more than five stars I would. I am a larger woman and have had some very unpleasant interactions with other waxers. Rachel has never been anything but amazing and accommodating. I trust her with every bit of my skin and refer anyone who asks about waxing to her. Wherever you are going to get waxed now (if it is not Waxetera) you are missing out.

Rachel is incredible! This was my first wax and it won’t be my last. I’m 7 months pregnant and although your skin is more sensitive, this was NOT too painful at all. I highly recommend Waxetera.

I have been to Rachel twice now and will not go anywhere else! I had never had a brazillian wax when I found her Salon on Unilocal and decided to giver her a try based on the reviews. She made me feel completely comfortable and is very professional. I will continue going to Waxetera for all my waxing needs.

I just moved to the valley from Sedona, Az where I would regularly get my Brazilian and eye brow waxes. I was skeptical about finding someone new due to the fact that I had gone through several bad experiences before I found my regular esthetician. When I found Rachel she was the only one I could find who would see me at the times that I needed to be seen due to my busy schedule and she was very sweet, so I went for it! I have already been back once and will continue to use her for my regular appointments from now on. I drive thirty minutes one way to get my waxes done and couldn’t be happier. Also this is the least painful Brazilian I have ever had hands down! Great job!

So I’m about 3 weeks from my due date (yes… I’m preggo) and dreading the afeared date of what people have described as pushing a watermelon through an opening the size of a ping pong ball… I had some misgivings. One of them being… gosh, I know I’m intimate with my fiancée and he’s seen all of me, but I haven’t been able to do any self-​grooming for a month and a half since my belly has swollen up to the size of monstrous proportions. It must be a mess down there was definitely an understatement of the month.
So off to groupon and Unilocal hybrid researching, which led me to this adorably cozy establishment. Booking my deal on groupon was easy enough and a steal: $ 22 for 1 Brazilian Wax, and reaching Rachel via the number provided was easy as well. I had bought my groupon and booked my appointment in under 20 minutes. She even provides text reminders the day before your appointment! Nice!!!
On the day of my appointment, I headed out and upon arrival, I must admit, the location is as other Unilocalers have said… a little difficult to find. The plaza is a bit non descript with a bunch of different type of numbers: building numbers, door numbers, etc. You want to find the door labeled 104, and once you walked in, you’ll go further in a bit to find the room labeled 4 and that will be the place.
Rachel was a sweetheart, and had me fill out a sheet filled with questions designed to assess and inform about the waxing. After that was done, I hopped (finagled my awkward body) on and she got right to work. The whole thing was done in 30 minutes, and it was extremely pleasant. Not only was she a great conversationalist, I did not feel the least bit awkward that yet another person was privy to my privates. She eliminated the hair with extreme precision and the wax she used was very gentle with minimum discomfort. She also considered the fact that I could not lay on my stomach to get at the hairs in my tush *ahem* region.
The whole thing took maybe 30 minutes, including checkout. She even gave me a coupon to use for my next appointment (which I will definitely make with her once this bun is out of the oven)!!
Though I could not see anything, I felt amazingly refreshed; and my fiancée assured me what I already knew: Rachel did a damned good job. Her establishment is extremely dedicated and personal so if you like that type of experience, she is definitely your gal. I know I will be back for sure.

I was in need of a back wax and Rachel fit me into her extremely busy schedule the very next day after calling her. The hard wax she uses was the best wax I’ve had used on me and I’ve been through a lot of spas. No mess and I didn’t break out and it was surprisingly less painless than those other waxes. I will be definitely returning for her services again. The business is a little hard to find since there is no street signage but rest assured it’s right in there tucked away in the back. Her office was extremely clean and nicely decorated too.

I’m from out of town and was looking for a place that was clean, professional and comfortable to get my Brazilian. Waxetera is the place to go! Not only is it affordable, but she offers a wide range of waxing services and products. Rachel is very professional and makes you feel totally comfortable. She did a fantastic job. Too bad she doesn’t work in California! Whenever I visit I will definitely be calling Waxetera!

Ive been getting waxed by Rachel since long before she started her own business. She is very good at what she does. I get my legs and underarms waxed and she always does a great job and doesnt leave any hair behind. She takes the time to be thorough, she is good at making me feel comfortable. I really like her new studio, it is beautifully decorated and very relaxing. I’ve also had her do my eyelashes. She did the extensions and tinted my brows which brought up all the fine hair as they are on the thin side. I love my new eyes and smooth skin. She’s the best!
***UPDATE*** Rachel started offering sugaring hair removal and I finally got to try that out and I LOVED it! My legs were so smooth and it was less painful than waxing. Sugaring for me from now on!

Rachel is amazing! This was seriously one of the most pain free Brazilians I’ve ever experienced. Her wax was the perfect temperature and never felt too hot. Everything was very sanitary. Her room is decorated so adorably! I would highly recommend going to see Rachel. She is much more personal and attentive than one of those quick wax chain places. Great experience! Will be back!
