Been here many of times for street tacos. Tonight we arrived at closing and they were still super nice and accomodating. Flautas were on point but the catfish was amazing!!! When you have a restaurant with a big eclectic menu, and it’s all done well, you have something solid!

Back again. Always consistent, busy, clean. Never had a bad experience. Omar and his crew are incredible. The best restaurant in miles. Love the diversity of the customers and food. Can’t say enough good things about the place. If it was possible to give more than five stars I would! Customers are treated with care and respect. Their patronage is appreciated. If you make your first trip when its busy; be patient. Quality is worth the wait!

Our order was completely messed up but the food we got instead was great. I would definitely return to this place. If you are the adventurous type like us, this place is for you!

This place is really good. We had the fried fish, nachos and meatball pizza. I gave it a four stars because the pizza wasn’t that great but everything else was. Must try. :-)

Once again the guy from Isreal working out of a gas station has exceeded expectations. Tonight Omar suggested the fried catfish and did not dissapoint. The crust was incredibly crusty and somewhat highly seasoned in a very good way. Fish was moist and flaky, all it needed was a squeeze of lime and all is good. Fried perfection. Cole slaw was fresh and crispy but the dressing was a but sweet for my pallet. That was easily remedied with a couple squirtes of his home made salsa verde. That stuff rocks. Well done once again Omar. I will Mos Def be comming back to give your pizza and canzone a whirl. I wish you the best of luck, don’t ever change!

I have been here 3 times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. This place is next door to a gas station, not the classiest of areas to dine at. However the staff are so loving and maintain a warm and friendly atmosphere for their customers. The owner personally walks around and greets every customer and asks if you liked their food and to please come back to see them. The food hits the spot and is very delicious. The amount of food they give you is very generous for the affordable prices. I’ve tried thick cuts of fried catfish; better then grandmas very thick pancakes; large filled quesadillas; flavorful tacos. Even their side item of green beans is mixed with tasty chopped beef which is unique. Definitely recommend you stop by at least once, it’s worth the wait. I’d give it 5 stars if they get their own place.

it was alright, I had the wings hot and lemon pepper with fries and Agua de horchata not anything special. The lemon pepper ones just tasted like mcormick seasining and the hot wings tasted like Frank’s hot sauce but thicker, the drink was way to sweet for me and the fries were like the krinkle fries from the grocery store. The cashier was very nice and the place is very clean. Maybe I would have to give them another try but if u are looking for wings this is not the place., coming from a wing fanatic I recommend Wing City in Garland, Def worth the drive.

Tacos and flautas were delicious and the service was great without being intrusive. Very good amount of food for the price. The hot sauces were also delicious. Restaurant interior is very clean. The place itself is a little hard to spot from the road, as the gas station kinda blocks it.

A great example of a family owned restaurant. All I had was a Torta Barbacoa and I wasn’t expecting much but is very delicious. I will come back to try other things for sure. Big of their salsas were great. Definitely worth a drop in. There were lots of people waiting to order their food but they got through the line quickly and the food was made quickly. What more can you ask for? 5 Stars until proven otherwise. :)

My husband use to come here all the time when he work down the street. He has mentioned to me on how good this place is, so I had to try. Wanted something other then iHop/Denny’s so why not we came to Tuckers! We order the kids 2 finger meal, beef quesadilla w/rice & beans, enchilada plate and I order the Tuckers breakfast special(egg/sausage(comes onion) 3 pancakes and a hashbrown) The one thing I do like it’s an open menu, you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner. Take a look at the pictures this is what we order. There were a few cons but what fast food/restaurants don’t, over all I would recommend family/friends to at least try!

The tacos here are tasty. A little on the greasy side for me, but none the less I keep coming back for more. You can’t come here and not get a churro! I like them plain with no fill but they offer a variety of fills. Another popular item aside from the tacos are the catfish. I’m not a seafood person myself so I’ve never tried them but every time I go in, that’s all I ever hear ordered.

T he lines out the door at this place U nderstandably so with menudo Saturdays C ome for the Tacos stay for the Service K iller hot sauce, so hot my tastebuds are murdered E ven open for breakfast, when do these guys sleep? R est assured you can have it cos they serve halal meat S eems my order is ready, now it’s time to eat! This will be my third review for a Gas Station grub joint… Usually that means something has gone terribly wrong in your life… but I feel confident that I can defend my review choices, and if you feel otherwise then one visit to Tucker’s Grill, and bite of their tacos, and you’ll understand. These Tacos rival Fuel City, and they also happen to be Halal, a source of meat which is fas higher in quality due to the animals being raised in more humane conditions, this is something I absolutely support. The Bacon, and sausage is halal as well, so come one come all, and enjoy yourselves at this place. Menudo on Saturdays and Sundays, beware of the red salsa it’s hot enough to burn straight through your mouth, and out the other side, but the green one is very tasty in smaller quantities. Solid Tacos, and decent burger! So next time you’re near this area don’t be a sucker, you don’t have to be a trucker or a hung over Ashton Kutcher to eat here, so dig in and enjoy mother tucker!

Tucker’s has done it again. I thoroughly enjoy this place! It is always packed with people wanting to get their hands on deliciously prepared food! Today I had the chicken quesadillas and they were fantastic! Full of chicken and cheesiness, this dish was served with a side of beans and rice with sour cream and guacamole! These are quesadillas that I plan on ordering again

Seriously try the churro. It is delicious. I bought a cream cheese churro and it’s probably the one of the best churro’s I’ve had. The churro was served fresh and it seemed to be made-to-order. Normally, churro’s have a very crispy texture, but this one was a little softer(in a good way). The churros are a product of the original«Churro Factory». Regarding their actual menu options, it seems way too diverse; however, the restaurant seems to stay busy attracting customers –so they must be doing something right. In the past, two of my friends actually ordered items off the menu, and they seemed to like it.

First time visit this morning. Was skeptical that a place with some many random choices would do justice to a Mexican food breakfast. ITWASAMAZING!!! The menudo(weekends only) was so good! Very flavorful, perfect amount of spice/seasoning. The tripe was perfectly sized, lots of hominy, not very fatty. I’m very particular about my menudo and this hit the spot!!! Now on to the tacos, for the price they are very good! I had bacon, egg, papas and cheese. They aren’t homemade flour but they were alright. The corn tortillas were good next time I would swap for corn… but they were stuffed full, so tasty. My husband and I split the small menudo, I had a taco and he had two tacos. All for under $ 13.00 that is a deal for a selfish breakfast. Oh oh oh and I almost forgot one of our favorite parts of my visit– Sultan, the server was the sweetest and nicest kid! I swear my husband is going back just because of him! Seems like a great family run business. Second favorite, The owner Omar visiting the table and being so genuinely happy o have us come in! Felt very good to be appreciated for our patronage!

Amazing hole in the wall Mexican food! Sultan was a superb host and champion of all things Tucker’s! We walked into this restaurant hoping to be surprised because it’s convenient location in the same building as a gas station convenience store was a little questionable. However once greeted by Sultan our experience began its cosmic trajectory! Sultan’s ownership of everything on the menu was astounding. He looks as though he is a teen working in his family restaurant but he carries himself like a seasoned businessman. To be honest, I never asked him his age because I didn’t want to prejudge his service. He «owned» everything that was on the menu praising the virtues of the wide variety of fare on the menu. I asked Sultan what he recommended and he began touting the merits of his tacos, gyros, wings, pizza, etc. but all I could hear were the chants of the two regulars behind me, «tacos…tacos…Tacos!» So I chose the tacos. We selected from the authentic barbacoa, lengua, beef and chicken. I chose one lengua, one chicken, and one beef. This all came with rice and beans. I also had to order some onion rings. The food was delightful. Especially the lengua taco. The meat was moist, tender, and perfectly seasoned/marinaded. The onion rings were stellar, seasoned to perfection. Not greasy and perfectly cooked! The only shortcoming on the menu were the refried beans, which were a little bland. But he more than made up for it with his rice which is a exceptional marriage of Mexican rice and Chinese fried rice. I loved it. We all enjoyed this meal with a Mexican cola(imported) and I personally needed a siesta to meditate on the nirvana my taste buds were experiencing. Sultan you and Tucker’s will go far if you continue this food and service. Sultan, if I am ever looking for a VP of sales in a major business, I am going to come find you and hire you away from the family business! Sorry mom and dad.

We were driving through Mesquite for somewhere different to eat. I pulled up Unilocal and this place had 5 star. Then wanted to know why a taco shop next to a gas station was so popular. I understood when I went in. The customer service from Sultan, was excellent! The food takes a long time to get but it is fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try the fried tilapia and eat more churros! LOVE this place!

It is hard to believe that this gem is in a gas station. Have only recently discovered it, but have come several times since and will continue to return. The staff is all very friendly, and the owner-Omar– is so welcoming. He recognized us as new visitors our first time and came to the table to meet all of us. When we returned he remembered and came over to thank us for returning. He obviously takes pride in what he does– and it shows. The food is great– the tacos were fantastic. I had lengua and barbacoa and both very flavorful and moist. The red and green sauces were also both good. The Philly Cheesesteak was very great. The mushrooms, beef, and cheese were all great and worked together to make a great sandwich. We have also had the gyro calzone. We ordered a Medium and there was more than enough for all four of us to have a nice sized portion. Again– great taste. The meat was delicious and the crust of the calzone just right. The only drawback might be the speed. It is not a place to come if you only have a few minutes, but if you want some great food and to spend a little time relaxing you must try Tucker’s the next time you find yourself in the glorious burg of Mesquite!
