The staff here are extremely friendly and the office is neat and clean. There are some things they cannot do, like getting you a Louisiana drivers license if you’re moving into the state, but overall they’re pretty helpful. I’ve been twice and recommend going earlier in the day. Sometimes the afternoon can be a bit crowded. Cash or checks only.

The DMV is a wonderful place to go if you feel like wasting at least half a day and losing your mind. Casey and Casey on the other hand is where you go if you don’t mind dropping a couple of extra dollars for a relatively quick and easy process. I had to transfer an out of state title for a vehicle that I had already registered in Louisiana, change how my name appeared on the title, and a bunch of other irritating things. Rather than going to the Louisiana DMV office over on Airline and waiting forever, I decided that Casey & Casey was a good idea. I called them up and they said there wouldn’t be any issues. When I arrived, it turns out I actually needed 1 additional form. They gave that to me, I left and gathered up all of the extra info, then returned the next day. 30 minutes later, everything was finished(except for receiving the title, which came in the mail a few days later). Quck and painless. Wonderful. All of the employees there are delighful, especially Ms. Bert. I’ll definitely go back to Casey & Casey whenever I need to renew my license, registration, or any future title issues. Oh, please be sure to bring Cash and/or your Checkbook. They don’t take ATM/Credit cards for payment. They do have an ATM if necessary, but I’m sure it isn’t cheap.

I recently had to complete the worlds most annoying task: an out-of-state vehicle title transfer and Louisiana registration. After two aggravating trips to the DMV and about 4 even more aggravating phone calls, I still wasn’t sure I had everything I need before my tags expire. Ready to have a meltdown, I skirted off Veterans and into the parking lot of Casey & Casey. I grabbed my over-flowing file folder of notarized papers from California, and entered the office like the Tasmanian devil. I plopped down in a chair across the desk from Jacqueline, who I’m certain had no idea what hit her. I immediately started explaining to her, 100 miles a minute, my insurance confusion, registration confusion and where I was at in this impossible process. Stress ended right there. Jacqueline went to work immediately to check off what I had and what I needed. Her manager even called the DMV to double-check something for me… keep in mind this is 430 in the afternoon. Only missing one last document, I had my registration and license plate by the next afternoon. During this whole process, I worked with the same people who remembered what I needed. I’ve passed two of my friends to them so far, and would highly recommend Casey and Casey for notary services, title transfers, vehicle registration and drivers licenses.
