Whenever Barnes & Nobles is full of people, just walk across the street to CC’s. It has comfortable seating inside, and an outdoor patio. It’s quiet most of the time, because college students are studying.

Incredibly loud. I came by to get a little computer work done but unfortunately only left with a pounding headache. The main culprit was the incessant banging of the barrista trying to empty the espresso maker. Over. And. Over. And. Over. And. Over. Is there no other way? I have gone to coffee shops to work for years and have never been bothered by this noise, however here it’s just too much. I will not return

Good coffee, good desserts, and very friendly to folks who want to be on-line. More seats with plugs than any other coffee house in the area.

I will start this review by saying I’ve never been inside, because I always drive-thru before work in the mornings… It’s pretty fabulous. The service is always really sweet and authentic. The coffee is well-priced and well-made, and the breakfast sandwiches are«lean» which is trendy and really tasty, plus you don’t feel terrible when ordering them and devouring them. The bagels are delicious, also! I would recommend, for sure. It’s a cute local spot to hit before you get to work if you don’t have time to make breakfast.

This is my go-to coffee spot when heading across the lake so that I don’t have to get out the car and can be pleasantly caffeinated driving on the bridge. I’ve never had a problem with their drive-thru service, and I like that they have a trashcan at the end of the drive-thru I can shove a bunch of random crap into that’s been building up in my car. Every once in a while I get lucky and find a parking spot if I’m hiding out in Metairie and want to get some work done. They recently followed suit with the renovations like the other locations, and for this one it really works. They now have a high table with a copious amount of outlets that’s really copacetic for working at. The service is pleasant, and doesn’t come after you if you haven’t bought a coffee in 4 hours and are still sipping on the same one. While this isn’t necessarily my coffee shop of choice for working, the drive-thru is clutch, and I’ll probably always be a frequent drive-thru grande hot mocha in Metairie girl.

Relaxing, quiet and classy coffeehouse. They have renovated the interior to a more modern feel. They have expanded their beverage choices, and have yummy pastries that equal to that of Starbucks I think. Great to study!

I’m going to give community coffee 5 stars because their coffee is incredibly delicious and not to mention CONSISTENT. I go here about 3 – 4 times a week and I own a Keurig. Their drive through is always very fast and takes no longer than 3 minutes total. Drive through workers are almost always friendly. I did come across a very rude one at one point in time. I was so angry because she always had a sour face on but they seemed to have gotten rid of her. So I’m happy again. If you go inside the café, there is a large seating area — both inside and out(free wifi). The café offers cookies, croissants, scones, muffins, etc. I love their holiday drinks especially the peppermint bark latte. However, I usually always order a hazelnut iced latte. I guess what makes their coffee very good is the dark roast. I love you guys! Y’all are the real MVPs who make my mornings perfect.

Great coffee house, this is our new favorite place! Their coffee is delicious, the staff is very friendly and helpful. One of them even went out of his way to make me a drink they’ve never done before. And he wasn’t making me uncomfortable about it which very rare.

My review is not based on one just one bad experience. I have stopped by here many many times over a several year period. But no more! Let me say that I am a fan of CC’s coffee. We brew Community Coffee in my home and office and I have enjoyed many good cups at CC’s for many years. This location is convenient to me as it is near my house. But I am sick and tired of the aggressive pushing of product they do at the drive-through window. I want to order a cup of coffee. I am fine paying your price for it. But by God, man. Why do you make me decline to buy 2 – 4 other menu items before I do it? Furthermore, the coffee here is «inconsistent» what I mean by that is they obviously sell every ounce of dregs to their customers before brewing a fresh pot of coffee. I just had one of those –nothing but dregs. And that it is it. We are quits.

This is the coffee shop for me! They make their sweet drinks sweet enough for my sweet tooth, have free wifi, a drive-through, and indoor/outdoor seating. If they’d turn down the A/C a bit so it’s not freezing it’d be perfect.

I’m from out of town and have been told such great things about CCs but this place needs a prayer. I expect a long drive thru line at a coffee joint in the middle of the morning rush but this was ridiculous! I ordered 2 iced coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches. Another local coffee place, which shall remain nameless, automatically puts milk in the coffee which was unexpected but I assumed it was a local thing but at CCs it came black, full to the brim and not a word about whether or not I needed milk. Ok… no biggie… I can go inside and fix that up. Once inside I finished the half & half and returned it to the counter so the next customer would have a full container. My goodness the nasty snarl I got from the young lady behind the counter. Well I’m sorry little miss I won’t do your job for you next time. So back to the car I go with my coffees in hand and ready to dig into my breakfast sandwich. Come to find out they slapped that thing together like something made by a preschooler. It was terrible the whole experience was terrible. For that I’ll go to McDonalds. Enjoy if you like a side of sass with your coffee.

Why 2 stars? Because this was some of the snarkiest service I’ve received in a long time. — — — I hate to kill a place based on one, young employee that probably doesn’t even work there anymore, but… this just couldn’t go any other way. You know those people that sense a younger, laid-back customer, and feel that they can be a bit snarky because of it? Hey, I’m all about that… and that’s what I thought I was experiencing here at first. But then after about 6 – 7 comments, I was pretty sure that she was just incredibly rude, and not worthy of employment. Condescending, impatient, treated me like a child, complained loudly about other customers, etc, etc, etc. If only I could remember her name, she would be «on blast,» as the kids say. Now… back to not killing a place just based on one bad customer service experience. One of the things I love about traveling new places is trying their local coffee shops. Apparently New Orleans is not a coffee city, as it seemed CC’s and PJ’s were the best two options. Both served terrible coffee. Like gas station quality. New business idea: hipster coffee spot in NOLA. Feel free to steal that one from me, because you’ll have no competition. Or, I’m just a dumbass that managed to miss these places after much research.

went through the drive-thru here on the way to the airport because I remover it being great. well now it has terrible service. it was slow, the ladies at the window were a bunch of smart asses… I can’t believe it. my breakfast egg and cheese biscuit was slapped together so fast it wasn’t even together. the coffee was at least drinkable. I came here years ago and it was great! today it was horrible. I will not be coming here any time I visit the area anymore. don’t waste your time and money, go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts down the street.

CC is good, great Mocha! Service is exceptional! Great place to spend the day working or studying, especially because they have cushioned seats & plenty of power outlets in the bench area. Man they do keep it COLD, coldest coffee shop I’ve been to… I’ve seen people leave cus they couldn’t feel they’re hands. BUT it would make me buy more HOT coffee ;). Internet is slow & not too reliable(not expecting super speeds… but they may want to update their Router hardware.)

I had an our to kill before meeting some friends so I stopped in for a cup of tea and a snack. Unfortunately, they were out of the tea I wanted so I settled for another type. And the spinach-feta pastry that I had was yummy; I wish it could have been toasted rather than heated in the microwave. The staff was nice and apologetic about the missing tea. The space indoors is cozy, but the tables are pretty well spaced. The front patio area is spacious… if sitting near Veterans Hwy is your sort of thing. So let’s discuss why this shop gets 3 not 4 stars. The parking lot SUCKS. Because the space has a drive through, parking spaces are almost non-existent. And all the nearby businesses have threatening signs about parking in their lots with dire consequences promised.

This location is good for hanging out with friends or studying, although it is pretty small so the tables by outlets fill up quickly. They have my favorite caramel anything. I think their syrup is some of the best around. Plus, the coffee is perfection.

I’m from Baton Rouge, where I basically lived at CC’s. Now that I live on the Westbank, I only get delicious mochasippis when I drive to this location. Hooray for CC’s; boo for not having one closer to home. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. There’s free wifi and lots of space to spread out and study or read. I come here to read, and somehow, even when it’s empty, a group of people always end up sitting near me in order to have a lively discussion. I could be the only customer there, and a bunch of talkers always manage to sit near me. There is an extra seating area on the large deck in front, which really impressed me when I first saw the place. The parking lot is tiny, but I’ve always managed I find a spot. I’ve never had an issue with long lines, and my order is always correct and yummy. If you’re curious about nutrition info, a barista will let you look at a binder that has everything you need. I wish CC’s would come to the Westbank!

I love community Coffee, but the only bad thing about this particular place is the size of it. It gets packed really fast! Parking is also horrible! I only go here during the weekdays when it is not as packed. When it is empty, it’s a great quiet place to study. They have long booths so that fits more people who need plugs and room for their laptops.

I like going here because they are open until 11 every night, and there are lots of people there with their laptops open working quietly. There are also small groups that meet there. they have lots of outlets for you to plug in your laptop. If one of the prime spaces isn’t available, you can sit down some where else, and wait a few, and a space will open soon. Be sure to bring a sweater because it does get cold. they have a great outdoor seating area.
