We went on Wednesday, got there a few minutes before opening. No cars in the parking lot, patio furniture gone, all the windows and doors covered in paper, no note on the door. Called and no message or answer machine. Waited a bit past opening, looks like this burger place is gone. Great burgers, great fries, if they are closed we are truly heartbroken. Our only complaint was that it was too cold in the place, with vents blowing right on the tables. Place was very clean, employees were great along with their service. I just received a reply to my inquiry from Cheeseburger Eddie’s and they said they have sold the building to another company and they would be opening with a new concept soon. :-(

This is Great Neighborhood restaurant! I love dinning on the outdoor patio. My husband always gets the volcano burger. I usually get the shrimp taco. They are stuffed with lots of shrimp and a Mexican like cold slaw with black beans and cheese. The portions are big and after all that if your still hungry get the milkshake it’s pretty good. They have tv’s both in and outside usually playing ESPN so u don’t miss the game. The staff is alway nice and service moves at a reasonable pace.

Always looking for a new great place to eat… this place did not make the list. Mediocre food at semi-high prices. Most of the burgers were about $ 11. For that price they better be great not just average. I tasted the chili and it was terrible. It was sweet! Not just a hint of sweetness but downright too much sugar. Went with the chicken and sausage gumbo which was good. We also had the red beans and rice which was average. Ordered a wedge salad which I sent back due to the fact it was wilted and had brown spots. For a place to even serve that tells me nobody is really looking at quality. One strike you’re out. Buh bye! !

Music sucks! It is extremely loud and obnoxious and make me want to never come back. Sad, but it doesn’t even matter if the food is good.

Decent food, chicken salad and burger. Service seriously sucked. We won’t be back here ever!

Not crazy impressed, but I do have to say that some of these reviews talk about the rude service, but I couldn’t disagree more. I was greeted by a friendly girl who took my order and let me take my time figuring out what to get. The ladies who brought out the food had smiles on their faces and super friendly even asking if we wanted a to go cup for our drinks when we stood up to leave. There a lot of choices: tacos, salads, the obvious cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, quesadillas. The fries reminded me of the skinny fries that you used to get at Houstons! Big generous portions, but not over the top fantastic quality. It is just a burger joint after all… Ordering with a big lunch crowd was convenient for me since you’re able to order at the register, pay, sit down and they will bring out the order to you. I wish I could have tried the milkshakes! They seemed to be a favorite with so many people ordering them. Id come back for lunch but wouldn’t come out of my way to grab a bite to eat.

Below average. Slow and unfriendly service. The grilled shrimp in the grilled shrimp salad were of the small frozen variety — in New Orleans! Glad there were so few of them. Tamales had to be returned because they were cold in the center. The gumbo was watered down and had no rice. When questioned about the absent rice were told they ran out but expected delivery soon. This was at 11 a.m. when they opened. Because you pay in advance there is little recourse and no one cared anyway. Lots of kids and very loud.

A huge selection of Burgers n Shakes!!! Oh my!!! Sinfully delicious! The covered patio area was perfect for our Saturday luncheon. The new general manager visited our table to introduce herself and to make sure that food and service was fine. Our waiter also checked in on us regularly. We will be back!!!

Just average. The breakfast burger was good, but the patty had burnt ends. The cheese fries were decent. My wife liked her burger and her shake was ok. They were out of the shake she originally wanted, the crispy cream, so she got the heath bar. The service was fine, both ladies were friendly and helpful. Food did take a while to come out though, even though it wasn’t that busy. It’s a decent place to go to if you want a quiet place to get a burger and shake but there are better options out there, albeit louder. I will continue to dine here every now and then, but my expectations aren’t as high.

Been here several times thinking it may have gotten better however„ it got worst. Not wanting a sandwich, I ordered the Red Beans with rice and a smoke sausage. I thought to myself, is it possible for this to be good as it’s a staple on their special board, it must be delicious. Wrong! When the table delivery person put the plate down in front of me, I knew I was in trouble. At first look, it looked tried out. Guess what, it was and not only that, it was also extremely pasty and over salted. First bite tasted like salted chalk compound. Yuck. Was supposed to get bread. None to be found. I inquired and received some later after I had to get up and go hunt down the table server who forgot to bring it to me as she had promised. Nice looking place however, they definitely need to get their act together. This is suppose to be a restaurant. Give me a clean dump that serves good food, now that’s how a restaurant gets 5 stars. The headlining fact here is… SERVESGOODFOOD, NOTTASTELESS, DRIEDOUTCALKINGCOMPOUND!!! GOODLUCK, YOU’LLNEEDIT.

Passable mediocre burger at an expensive price. The volcano burger caused no taste eruption in my mouth and bored my palette to death. Fast food ambiance but they still want tips for providing zero service. Many better burgers for equal or lessor price in the area. I doubt I shall ever return.

Cheeseburger Eddie’s is definitely one if my go-to places, and my favorite of the«Mr. Ed’s restaurants.» Today blew me out if the water! I tried something new. Beef tacos, you are my new favorite dish! Two huge tacos with more flavorful meat and cheese than most Mexican places! I should’ve only eaten one, but I couldn’t help myself. I shouldn’t have been surprised considering how much I love their nachos; they use the same delicious meat in both dishes. My suggestion, which I wholeheartedly hope someone takes into consideration, is to have more low cholesterol options. Perhaps a grilled fish option? Do the seafood platters only come with friend shrimp and fish? I always mean to ask this question. You won’t be sorry if you patronize this local burger joint. Great beverages and atmosphere with the added bonus of outdoor seating.

The burgers are very solid. I wouldn’t say it’s the greatest but, for sure better than Phil’s Grill. The sides have always been good too. Handy for an after work pickup on the way home. Try the queso dip too.

Although my tuna sandwich was good, a $ 10.95 burger at lunch should come with fries. Enjoyed onion rings. Overall, thought this place was overpriced. Too many other options so probably won’t return.

Been a couple of times but this last time deserves a review… 2 burgers, onion rings, and 2 drinks was $ 35. No biggie. Make it fast and good. Problem 1-our red drinking glasses were dirty; one still had 2 lemon seeds in it. Gimme go cups. Nasty, but Solved. Problem 2-the go cups were given to me by a waitress who had just wiped her nose twice. No biggie. She had a bangin bootie, so I used a straw. Problem 3-took 25 minutes to make 2 burgers. Wasn’t crowded or anything. slow. Overpriced food was mediocre at best. Won’t be back. Plenty more options in town. Good luck with this place – you will probably need it.

This place is very close to my girlfriend’s house, so it’s quite convenient to go there for a semi-quick bite. This particular time, we split a shrimp po-boy, as we weren’t overly hungry. It was good and had enough shrimp. But I think the prices are a little high for what you get.

I really want to love this place, it just won’t let me!!! It has been over a year since I came here last so I figured I’d try it again. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a sign that says«Be ready with your order before stepping to the counter». Slightly off-putting but ok. Yet as I am reading said sign, the girl at the cash register asks me for my order. Confusing. So I go to order their sliders. The sliders come 3 to a plate and they offer 4 different varieties all of which are 8.95. I asked the cashier if I could mix and match to which she replied«ummm, i’m not sure… I don’t think so». A long pause was followed by me asking if she could ask, to which she replied«I don’t know who to ask». I laughed at that point and said forget it. I just order a buger onion rings and a beer. The burger was solid, the onion rings were huge like Popeye’s use to make them and pretty solid. The problem is the price. 20.00 for what I got is too high. The whole gourmet burger thing is getting out of hand. Between that and the ding bat cashier, I’m going to write off this place. If I need my burger fix I’ll head to Company Burger, Truburger, or Bud’s for less than half the price and twice the service.

I drive by this place all the time when I’m out doing stuff for work. When I found out that it was owned by the same people who own Mr. Ed’s, I decided to give it try. I went on a Friday night about 30 minutes before a Saints pre-season game. It was pretty calm when I walked in but it was completely slammed(and, rather chaotic) by the time I left. First impression, ugh, this is one of this order at the counter type of places. So, I walked up to the counter and smiled at the girl who returned my smile with a blank stare. I asked if they had any menus. She pointed at the door. Oh, so there’s a little stand on menus with a tiny sign saying to decide on what you want before proceeding to the counter. There was no else in line, I’m not sure why she couldn’t have just given me a menu from the huge stack sitting behind the counter. But, anyway. I decided to get a cheeseburger… since the name does contain the word cheeseburger. The prices suggested that I would be getting a handmade burger but it was, in fact, your standard preformed(probably frozen) burger patty. It was okay, but not as good as the price would suggest. I will give them props for loading it up with blue cheese, an area where many skimp. They have a bunch of stuff other than burgers, too. Like wings and tacos and dinner specials. I was kind of wishing that I had gotten country fried steak instead. If I end up going back, I will go with something else. But, honestly, I kind of doubt that’ll ever been an issue.

I’ve been here a couple of times and there is always an issue. Today I ordered two chicken tacos to go — had to wait 15 mins. Ok no problem! Waited my 15 mins and came to the restaurant and they had no trace of my order. I placed the order and it took another 15 mins. The reason why I wanted a to go order was so I didn’t have to wait in a restaurant with no makeup and workout clothes. However the chicken tacos are good. Service — not so much.
