Danisa is a friendly smiling face! She was helpful and my food was delicious. I ate alone and they have a bar type table with a small tv that faces the wall. I’m shy so eating alone is normally difficult. This setting was perfect !

This is one of my favorite places to frequent in Meyerland! The food is so good that I’d eat it 4 days a week if I could. The staff at this location is always friendly. The food is a little bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth it.

Called to place order for delivery which Unilocal says this place offers… Got a attitude over the phone and told they don’t do deliveries. I said that Unilocal explains that you do, so your telling me you just don’t have a delivery driver ? End of story. Not happy.

The owners of this location gave out coupons for a free sandwich with no expiration date. I brought it in and was told by an employee that it expired in 2011(I got it in 2014). They called the owners and were told to accept it but to make sure I know that this would be the only time. The employee was very rude and treated me like I was trying to pull some scam(this person also had the«S» in their name on the name tag fashioned as a dollar sign — very classy). Now I know it’s a Firehouse Subs, so my expectations are already pretty low, but being treated like a criminal for using a coupon is ridiculous. It seems the work staff is a direct reflection of the owners of this fine establishment. It was like going to the DMV.

Went today 4 making sandwiches looking a a smart phone they had gloves on but toughing the phone. Then making sandwiches. With the same gloves. Your cell phone is as dirty as a bathroom floor. Gross. No thank you

Workers cleaning with chemicals while you eat and stacking chairs on top of tables 3 hours before closing is inexcusable. Food was mediocre and employee attitudes were even worse. All of the sauce containers are all empty and they don’t even have the house pepper sauce to compliment the tasteless sandwiches. The Manager needs to take action on this mediocrity of a chain restaurant.

We visit Firehouse several times a month and always leave happy. Our 7 year old son enjoys the grilled cheese and rice krispie treats and my wife and I usually get one of the under 500 calorie sandwiches. If you’re in the mood for a warm sub, this is your place.

The food was fine. Standard Firehouse Subs, which is quite good. The issue was the display of hot sauces that had well over a dozen empty bottles. When we let the staff know, they couldn’t have cared less about it. Food was 3 – 4 stars Customer service was 1 star

The Best italian sub I have ever tried, with vinegar, oil, banana peppers. Try their sauce as well, very good and not too spicy.

I want to like this place but they always get the order wrong. I actually counted how many times I said«no cheese» –seven! Guess what? Well, of course, extra cheese. The fountain sodas are sometimes great and often times not. Such a bummer.

I got the engineer sub… Was not very good. Turkey tasted half cooked/half cold cut. There were lots of sauces available but the sub itself tasted very bland… Idk maybe it was the wrong choice of sub but I don’t see the food here as impressive. It was clean but I’m sure you can get a more impressive sub within a miles radius.

Heard the manager or someone in authority yell at employees. On two separate occasions. Totally unprofessional and mean-spirited. Would never go back.

Really good subs. What is unique here is they steam the meat which keeps it moist and flavorful. They also have those Coke machines where you have at least a hundred options to choose from. Good place to go to grab a quick lunch.

Very good subs. I had the #10 — beef brisket sub… it was very good. Affordable also.

This FIRHOUSE location has a friendly staff and a great menu. It’s in the back of the Meyerland Plaza, so easy to get to from the neighborhood or after a shopping spree at Target, Best Buy, or JC Penney. I have tried every single sandwich on the menu. I loved all of them. They are known for the warm subs which are steamed up a bit to make them juicy and pleasant. That’s the difference between here and Subway. Also a key difference is this, the calorie count of the big sandwiches are a bit more. I’m a fan of the HOOK N LADDER. They do have the fancy Coke machine that allows you to create hundreds of combinations and flavors. I seem to always get a vanilla rootbeer, but one day will go more exotic like an Orange Coke.

These places are spreading like wildfire. They have more spots than a Dalmatian. So, as I start to leave the back of Meyerland Center after shopping, a Siren beckons me(first time to one of these joints). Menu has the typical ladder of subs, and hydrant of drinks. I volunteer to take a specialty sub, the New York Steamer, a corned beef and pastrami Italian sub sprinkled with the typical veggie toppings. It was about the same size as the competitions’ and tasted good, better than Subway, and perhaps a bit less than Quizno’s. But your taste may differ from mine. Differentiator: One great thing about this place is the large assortment of flaming hot sauces, in case you want to commit arson on your tongue. Without these, I guess Firehouse would have been named Smokehouse. If a body Alarm happens, and you have an Emergency to extinguish some embers, the restrooms are in the back, but since the place is a bit narrow, you may have exercise your Right of Way to get there. Service is about the same as the other competing sub places. I didn’t get Hosed.
