Good value, good price, great selection. Liking forward to try their ramen next time.

The staff is always super super friendly to me. Very quiet environment and authentic, damn good sushi for amazing affordable prices, they were nice enough over the years I’ve been there to substitute things for me, and I’ve never had any complaints. If you don’t want to dine in or order from some fancy sushi restaurant where you might be dropping a lot of money, then here is the place, the dragon roll, and volcano are my faves, the jb roll is simple, perfect and traditional, only 3.75 $ for 8 pieces? Need I say more. Hope this helps.

We had a great experience in this restaurant. All of the sushi was outstanding and the prices are really worthy.

This is probably the worst sushi in miami. It has no flavor. The rice is like paste. The miso soup is like dirty water with seaweed. Do not waist your time and money going to this place! I don’t trust the hygiene of the place. The only positive point of the place is the price, a roll is price as the some as the supermarket roll, but the supermarket is way better.

I placed an order from delivery to a Hotel. While I was standing at the front desk, the delivery person shouted my name and called me beautiful even though it was clearly my place of work. I told the guy to wait and he started talking to one of the employee saying very inappropriate things. The hotel staff member who was talking to the delivery guy asked how the sushi was and he said«it is not very good to be honest» so what can you expect from a person who says that about their place of work. To finish it all, when I was getting ready to pay the guy he said«You are going to tip me right?» Even though I hadn’t even paid him yet. I called the store to complain and asked to speak to a Manager but they said there was no Manager and nobody in charge. I user to order all the time because she sushi was good and affordable but after this experience I highly doubt I will do it again. It will definitely not be a place that will recommend to my friends or guests.

Worst experience I have had in a while. Placed an order at 7:00PM online. After 45 minutes, I called the store to check on it. They didn’t have it. Called another location, didn’t have it. Everytime I spoke to someone, they expected me to call each location and expected ME to track my order. It didn’t dawn on them until I mentioned it that they can track my order with my confirmation number. It took me 30 minutes to track my order. Unacceptable! I have no waited 1 hour and a half for this and it will take 30 minutes to have it delivered. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. I don’t care how busy it is!!! You have a paying customer waiting for 2 hours!!! Demanded a refund and they told me, «we need to call the manager, we will give you a call back». HORRIBLE!!! NEVERAGAIN!!!#

You get what you pay for. Honestly, its not bad. I’ve been coming here for a while since I live nearby, good for a quick roll and the dessert is also pretty good.

I wonder, why bother opening a sushi place if you have no clue what you’re doing? Especially when there are better, cheaper options two blocks away? Waited 25 minutes to get a disappointing lunch box… Sushi is very mediocre, Edamame is cold and raw, and spring roll is just too greasy. Not the best sushi I had.

Pretty good sushi. Very reasonable prices. The ginger dressing for the salad was flavorless though. Like as in no flavor at all. The sushi was all really really good and some of the rolls were the lowest priced we’ve ever had. Definite a nice affordable spot in this town of general excess and ridiculously priced food.

Not to bad the pretty decent prices, except now there charging 9% sales tax. Who new.

What a piece of crap place. I placed an order to go for a few sushi combos. When I got there it was all wrong and the lady didn’t even offer to fix the order. I tasted it and it was all disgusting. Don’t go here

Horrible sushi, just got a delivery. Everything cold, delivery took like 1hour and 20 min. Shushi express for same money but more tasteful. This one taste like plain rice. Not recommended to anyone.

Our hotel recommended Planet Sushi but they didn’t open at the time posted so we hopped next door. We were one of the first customers of the day and ordered the U-Boat. Exceptionally great price for how much fresh sushi we got. The soy sauce is up at the counter along with the chopsticks. Don’t expect fish flown in from Japan. This isn’t that caliber of sushi. Think of it like a fast casual Americanized sushi.

I didn’t even try the sushi because the wait for take a simple order is like 30 minutes and after the guy took the order is another 30 minutes to have it for here, the lack of support and help here make this place so far the worse I tried in south beach, go to other one

I live really close so iron sushi and so therefore I frequent the restaurant on a weekly basis, I will give it for stars because it is not the best sushi I’ve had although they have some rolls that are excellent for the price . A must is the volcano roll topped with warm baked salmon, delicious !! Second to that is the Miami Heat roll even though I didn’t like the name of it lol. Check it out, good food for a fair price.

OK quality for a fast food joint, nothing to write home about but not bad. Got Chicken Teriyaki combo w/Salad(the other option is Miso Soup) and Steamed(Pork) Gyoza. Came out to about $ 13.50, which is a decent deal for the beach. The Teriyaki was actually the best part of the meal, it tasted good and seemed reasonably fresh. Rice was sticky and sauce was perhaps a bit too sweet, but something I could have again given the environment. The salad was the cheap iceberg kind which I personally don’t like. Nothing wrong with it but don’t expect spring or french mix. Came with the yellow sauce they all serve with this type of side. The Gyoza were a bit of a letdown. It’s one of my tests, it’s not easy to get steamed Gyoza right. The ingredients were fine but the taste was just bland — you can fix it by dunking in soy sauce, but then you’re tasting salt and not the ingredients of your food item. By the end of my meal, the last couple of Gyoza were so soggy from the water that seeped inside them while they were steamed that I couldn’t finish eating them, they had turned from bland to tasting bad. Def don’t get these, go for the fried to avoid this problem. All in all, it’s a solid 3 stars. I’ll be back to try some of the rolls.

Not sure what’s happened to this Iron Sushi, but it’s not the tried and true I depended on. Had my heart and stomach set on sushi and something warm. Asked for Udon. No udon. Asked for brown rice with my sushi, no brown rice. And this was not the first time this happened to me. I hope things change for the better. I used to live Iron Sushi.

Ate here with a friend who recommended it and grabbed a teriyaki bowl. Pretty good food for the moderately–(read: SoBe) priced meal. I’m not into sushi so nothing I can share about that. The interesting thing is I rarely see Asians eating here but don’t know how much that bodes for how good or Asian the food actually is. Seating area is very small, with 2 – 3 tables outside.

Convenient, with good hours. Friendly staff. Okay value, they take credit. Last I was here, I went for a barbecque eel sushi and miso soup lunch combo.(Eel’s one of my favorite things, so I couldn’t resist.) I wasn’t feeling the eel sadly, as the slices weren’t too thick, and the soy sauce was, well, wimpy. The soup hit the spot with me so much that I burnt my tongue eating it. Might’ve screwed with my taste buds that morning, who knows.
