At my former personal training gym I went from barely being able to walk on a treadmill to running half marathons. So of course I had to follow my trainer, Cody Patrick when he fulfilled his long time dream of opening his own gym. Cody is one of those lucky people that gets to earn a living doing what he really enjoys. He is personally invested in each person he trains because he really wants them to be healthy and reach their goals. Although he’s really good looking, he’s also pretty smart! His bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and certifications assure me that I’m getting excellent coaching. Due to some of the«crazy» and creative exercises Cody has me do, I’m glad to do it in the privacy of this small gym. Depending on your goals, the training sessions are different. As for me, I do a lot of strength and balance training mixed in with some cardio. Cody pays attention to the fact that I’m now a runner training for various races and tailors my sessions accordingly. In fact, after coming away injured from my first half marathon, Cody’s training sessions along with my physical therapy helped speed up my recovery! Although in a residential zone on the beach, I can always find parking on nearby Washington Avenue. The gym offers clients a shower, towels and toiletries. There is such a positive vibe here that even when I’m having a bad day at work, and getting my butt kicked by Cody, I leave the gym with a smile. If you’re looking to change your life, then I definitely recommend booking an appointment at this gym. It definitely changed mine and continues to improve!
