Babies R Us

You would expect for someone working at a kids store to be sweet at least but wow was Deborah anything but sweet. She will ruin anyone’s day I don’t understand why as a manager Id put her as a cashier, leave her and her nasty attitude in the stock room and even then she’ll ruin the ambience for her coworkers. At the end of my horrible check out experience full of sassy and teeth sucking I asked her if she gave me my rewards card since I was rushing to put my change back into my wallet because she called next before I was even done and her response was «why would I keep that» I’m sorry for asking a simple question

There are so many families in the city of aventura and they have the smallest Babies r us, very disappointed with the service, and selection ! They can’t keep my sons formula similar advance !!! Is alway out of stock and by the time you find someone to check in the back you are so upset because can’t find anyone!!! There is only one cashier that is worth out ! Everyone else is useless !

I really tried to like this store. As mentioned in another post, if you are in a jam then this would be the go to store. Otherwise, it’s just not worth the energy or possible increase in blood pressure. It’s very frustrating to never find the items advertised. In defense of the rude staff, from what I have observed it is directly related to management. In all fairness I have only observed a tall blond man (manager) negatively interacting with staff on many occassions. I had a less than pleasant experience with this particular manager back in January of this year. He was extremely nasty, and tried to tell me that there was a $ 10 fee to install a car seat. A car seat that I just purchased from them for a good amount of money! Mind you this tidbit of information is not posted anywhere in the store or online. I also had my first carseat installed here and there was no mention of a $ 10 fee. I called Baby’s R Us headquarters from the parking lot and was told that there was no such policy. The manager walked away and my car seat was installed. Update — June 2014 — Baby’s R Us, at least at this location, no longer installs car seats. Hmmmm It really is a shame that this store does not live up to it’s surrounding area. I run a business for new & expecting moms, and this would have been my go to store. Unfortunately, I can not recommend them. I will be making the long drive to Buy Buy Baby.

Limited product supply and the staff is rude and lazy — No eye contact and they seem miserable/​depressed. No wonder why many people I know go to buybuy Baby, where the customer service is great and they actually seem happy to be working there!

I can’t believe that an establishment this close to the city of Aventura would be so subpar but this one is. It is not just that it is the smallest Babies R Us by far, I live next to a small Publix and the shopping is still pleasurable, this store has less lighting than the others. If you are in a jam they do have baby products but if you want a shopping experience, this is not the place.
What I will say is that they are staffed to install car seats. The reason I give it 3 stars is because I really needed help with my new car seat, yes after it was installed I realized it was really easy and I could have done it myself, but at the moment I was in a panic thinking my baby would be unsafe none of the other Babies R Us locations had any one to help me. So I gI’ve them extra stars for being there when it counted.

Uggg. I came here with my mom to try to narrow down a few registry items that I wanted to see in person (we registered on Amazon). The selection here is awful. I don’t get it — this is in Aventura. There are plenty of parents in this area with money to spend, why would Babies r Us make this prime location such a half-​assed dump?
There were like 2 baby bath tub options to look at, maybe 5 total pack and plays and they were all junk. There was a decent selection of strollers and carseats but if you’re looking for variety and any higher end brands take the trek to Buy Buy Baby in Pembroke Pines.

Worst babiesrus ever. I am usually a fan of a store that I can go with my daughter, have her scream on the top of her lungs, and no one judges me. Either way, this babiesrus is awful. They have a very small selection of clothes, the store is a mess, the people who work there are never helpful, and nothing is placed in any logical order. It is a terrible store and it needs a new manager asap.

How is this store even open still? Talk about one of the most terrible Babies R Us stores I have ever been to! First of all the staff is useless, dirty and just plain rude. For a store that people come to with children there should be some kind of a dress code. One of the employees was walking around with untied dirty shoes, underwear sticking out and a bunch of piercings through his chin, very unprofessional. The cashier was as rude as can be with the personality of a tree stump. The store itself is so dirty, the shelves are always empty and no one knows where anything is. Even though this store is only 5 minutes away from my house I will be making the long drive to Buy Buy Baby in Pembroke Pines from now on.

I remember coming to this store a couple of times to purchase a couple of my preggo friends gifts. My hubby and i were here because it was the closest to our Hollywood living area. When I finally found out I was having a boy, we came here to scan more stuff (after looking online and adding some stuff) because it’s nice to see what the product actually looks like. The time spent here was about two hours and then ended up getting two outfits which was in clearance & got a cute Teddy bear patterned organic receiving blanket. We also checked for items to get for my sister in law and bro in law’s baby girl as well as our friends’ baby boy.
Nobody asked if we needed help, but we got the help we needed when asked about some products. The drive here is 15 minutes unless it’s later in the afternoon because the US-​1 traffic to get in the entrance of the parking lot can be a big hassle. I can tell you that this store is very quiet and peaceful, as if you left Aventura’s noise behind you.
