Now under new ownership. Good home-cooking at a great price. The lovely new Owner Tara runs the traditional diner kitchen. Feels like you are in an old-fashioned restaurant. Te food is tasty and the presentation resembles a much more expensive dining experience! Well done and highly recommended for locals and out-of-towners interested in hardy home-style cuisine.

I’ve been here a few times and my experience is generally good. Good food; friendly service. Today was a totally different experience. The food wasn’t very good — and they messed up my order. The worst part, however, was the owner. First off, she was prancing around in a short, sleeveless dress with flip flops while handling food. Secondly(and the worst part), she was treating her staff like complete sh*t. She was reprimanding them and talking down to them in front of a room full of customers. I do not plan on returning. It’s unfortunate because this could be a great neighborhood diner… guess I’ll be taking my patronage back to Eastside.

Bad service. Nice but stupid waiters. Food was fine. It was like watching a reality show. The owner was angry in the kitchen and annoyed at her employees. Tara(the owner) should have her own show.

I absolutely love everything we have eaten here. Mac n cheese bites, zucchini croquets, chicken parm panini, biscayne burger was delish, and the empanadas. Everything was yummy and very reasonably priced. So happy to have a go to grub spot so close to home!

Interesting vibe, more of a «modernized» diner. Food was tasty & well presented. The omelettes are massive! But the real prize is the side potatoes. They are sooo tasty. Very limited seating though, there only seemed to be about 15 tables and a few seats at the bar. Overall, not too shabby.

I had an excellent meal, then I left the restaurant and walked over the storm drain and noticed they dispose of their used oil in it. Disappointed, trying to find out who to contact.

I have been driving past this place for the last couple of months and always wanted to try. Finally stopped by on a Sunday for brunch. Let me tell you very clean! Staff is friendly and funny. And the food was really great. Will most definitely come back. We had an omelet with home made potatoes that was awesome! And also a protein power plate for those of you that want to keep it on the.

Amazing fine dining quality food. Fantastic neighborhood diner friendly service. Please come try this place. I wasnt expecting to be able to order a «nice» dinner from this place, but they have some amazing specials, I tried one and had my expectations totally blown away. It was veal cutlets in a francais sauce and the risotto was perfect — yes, risotto — and the Tuscan white bean soup was delicious. Highly recommend this to all!

We had been dying to try the new Biscayne diner. At about 9:30 am today me, my husband and our baby decided to stop in. We walked in and after waiting at the door awkwardly for about 5 minutes we walked over to the counter and asked the server standing there if we could sit at the vacant 2 top. There were about 3 large tables with +5 people. All those tables still had menus as clearly hadn’t ordered yet. We sat down and waited for a server or basically anyone to come bring us menus and possibly take our drink order. No one came… except the bugs. We were sitting for 15 minutes and must’ve swatted 20 flying bugs. It was really gross. After about 20 minutes with not a single greeting we left and went to the Federal and had a fantastic brunch… without the bugs! We’re really disappointed in Biscayne Diner and surely won’t be back. You can keep your bugs and shitty service.

Well, we decided to return for a late night burger. Prices have been increased at least 20% on the specific items we wanted(burger &BLT) and we just visited this place a few weeks ago. At 9:30 pm, the place was empty. Hours have changed — originally the place was listed as 24⁄7 and now they have funky hours — I have no clue when they are open now, so I had to call to confirm they were. This was the final chance — do not expect business from us since we do not frequent places with such inconsistencies and overpriced menu options.

this place is now under a new owner. Mom and Pop deal which is awesome for the neighborhood. the owner herself was doing the cooking and prepping and seemed to be a family effort with the kids(older College students) all pulling together and helping out. i can honestly say that there is room for improvement BUT they are putting forth the effort and seem to genuinely care about the customer feedback and have only been open for less than a month. i will definitely come back and support my local business around the corner from my home. the food was pretty decent as well and the service was great.

Biscayne Diner rises again! The restaurant had devolved into such a bad state, I vowed not to return. Now under new, good management, this restaurant is, once again, a place I’d bring my out of town guests. I had a great pork/broccoli rabe/provolone, served with homemade chips. Wonderful! The pork was moist and flavorful. And the service was so large, eating half was very filling. My companion had a Cobb salad… terrific dressing! Biscayne Diner is back, and so will we be.

So, this place obviously under new management. One would think/hope/pray that this time around it would/could/should be better!!! NOT!!! The waiter, though polite, was severely unfamiliar with the menu, slightly overage, and was mixing up customers orders… I personally think this corner is haunted and any business here is doomed to failure!

There’s been a change of management. I love the intention behind: simple and comfort food. It opened up two days ago and it seems they are not yet giving their best. I will try again soon. I am confident they’ll get better!!!

Was here last Sunday for breakfast. Sat down at the bar. Greeted right away. Ordered the crab cake benedict. Less than 10 minutes later, my sever gave the wrong order first… it was the regular eggs benedict so she took it back right away. I overheard the cook saying, «that’s not a problem, will just take the ham off and replaced it with crab cake.» I’m guessing he used the same bread, poached eggs and just removed the ham in the middle and inserted the perfectly round crab cakes which I believe were pre-made store bought cause they were pretty cold. It had no taste of crab whatsoever and hollandaise sauce was bland. Home potatoes were cold too. The service was great at first but it turned crappy after she told me the credit card machine wasn’t working. She started writing my cc number with pen and paper so it looked sketchy to me. She asked if I needed a receipt and I said yes of course… so this was a red flag for me. I told my server I rather go the ATM and come back to give cash. She said okay so that made me feel a little better. Luckily there was a Bank of America 2 blocks away. The experience was uncomfortable and the food quality is definitely questionable. I’m not a rocket science but made to order food served in less than 10 min is way too good to be true. For around the same price, the crab cake benedict I had at Roasters & Toasters was far superior compared to the one I had here.
