Mucha gente, no está mal, tiene buen sabor la comida pero a simple vista se mira asqueroso la presentación de los platillos

This was my first time coming here and I must say that I think I will be a returning customer. I was dying for an omelette and this restaurant came up on Unilocal. The reason why I’m giving it 4⁄5 is because there was a crowd waiting to be seated and the entry was very small so I was stuck standing in line outside in 50 degree weather(it was freezing). Also there was no constructed line or wait list so you pretty much had to remember the back of the persons head in front of you. The diner is very small nonetheless it appeared clean to me. I had a sweet little old lady. She was one of the best servers I’ve had, very attentive, sociable and friendly. I ordered my omelette and French toast and both were very tasty. Although the hash browns were a little burnt I still ate them anyway lol Overall my meals were both inexpensive and my experience there was quick and comfortable.

This is a nice diner. It has a steady crowd and the food is consistently tasty. The lady at the front was greeti g customers by their first names and asking personal questions to more than a few of them. Waitstaff customer service is equally good. I am a fan! Tuna Salad sandwich for the win.

Let me begin by saying«I was HUNGRY». Came across this place while driving down Biscayne with my friend and Bam, there it was. I wake led in and was immediately greeted. The service was quick which was amazing because this place had a crowd. I had my food to go. The prices are reasonable and the portions are big. I will definitely be going back soon.

On our way back to Orlando and found this awesome breakfast joint! Everything we had was delicious! Donna was our server and she was absolutely superb! The other lady that is a server for 48 years was very cranky and couldn’t deal with a 1 year old at the next table making a bit of noise. Happy she didn’t serve us! Overall a great experience!

Not great. The owner was very friendly. The place was crowded but the wait was not long. The service was good but not great. The food was mediocre. If you are willing to wait a bit for a table and pay a little more for your food, then go to Blue Collar just down the street. It’s not going to feel like a bomb in your stomach or vomit on your plate. Divey places are good for drinks, cause they just pop open a beer bottle or pour alcohol in a glass, but don’t go to a Dive for food, your stomach will regret it. Jimmy’s is memorable for all the wrong reasons, and anyone who tells you otherwise, is just hip to the hype.

Went here because I saw the four stars, but the food was horrible. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was at tough meat and least 40% fat and nerves. The meat was poorly seasoned. I did not have breakfast here so maybe all the stars are breakfast related because if they can’t do a steak sandwich then I just don’t see how they have 4 stars

Old school diner with straight to the point food. I had breakfast here last week and it was exactly what I was looking for. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, blueberry hotcakes, corn beef hash, orange juice and coffee. Nothing fancy, but everything was fresh and plentiful. The place was packed, loud and busy. Just how your diner should be. Easy to find and with plenty of parking next to it, which is sort of an oddity on Biscayne Blvd. Will definitely be coming back whenever oatmeal and a banana won’t just do…

Always like to come here at Jimmy’ east — side diner. I like their coffee and often get the liver and rice. The place is old but clean enough, the cost of food is affordable with big portions. The ambiance feels just retiring to enjoy a nice meal.

Finally found a quality diner near my new place! Large portions, yummy food, quick service. Really can’t ask for much more from a diner. Line was out the door when we stopped by on a Sunday, definitely worth the wait though! We sat at the bar and admired their massive cereal collection. Will definitely be back.

If u are looking for a fast meal this is your place. I’ve passed it several times and wonder what the food would be like. Well, it’s your typical American breakfast. I ordered the eggs, pancakes, and bacon with OJ combo. I asked for my eggs well cooked which they arrived a bit oily. The bacon was good and the pancakes were probably the best. I wish they would had offered maple syrup though. Check arrived 2 mins after food. Waitress didn’t even ask if I wanted anything else. For someone looking for a decent fast breakfast, this is your place. If you are looking for café con leche this is not it and unfortunately I learned to late so no coffee for me.

If you have a hangover, go to Jimmy’s. If you’re southern and you miss home cooking, go to Jimmy’s. If you want amazing breakfast food(and the best best best cheese grits ever), go to Jimmy’s. If you want to be around a super diverse and eclectic group of people, go to Jimmy’s. Most importantly, if you are frustrated with how rude everybody in Miami is and you want to escape for a bit, go to Jimmy’s. Everybody is so nice here(including the diners) that’s its like a mini vacation. I love it here. The food is perfect. Pro-tip: pick hashbrowns for greasy goodness, home fries if you want home cooking without all the fatty grease. Finally, if you want a healthy light breakfast so you can preserve that perfect Miami beach body: re-evaluate your priorities, live a little, and go to Jimmy’s. And get egg whites if you must: the egg white spinach feta omelet is actually pretty decent.

I used to LOVE Jimmy’s, and if you’re looking for a good diner in this part of Miami, there is honestly no beating them. Maybe it’s me, or maybe things have changed, but I just don’t feel like the food is quite as good as it used to be. Yes, I expect some greasy spoon food at a diner but even so I never felt like my food was drowning in butter/lard/oil. Upon my last 2 – 3 visits, my hashbrowns have been swimming in it and even my Greek frittata felt a little… heavy. Like I said, still the best option for diner food in the area, but maybe I am just over diner food?

This place is classic dinner. Food is great and prices are just right! The hashbrowns and French Toast were amazing! Their coffee was surprisingly really good for a dinner. It can get busy on the weekend and they don’t have a good system for long lines. No check process. Just stand in line and wait to be seated.

Now this is breakfast folks, I need other breakfast places to please take note as this place just shut you down — I’m talking about R.I.P. Sometimes a restaurant comes along where it’s not about the design or ambiance — it’s just about the food and that’s what best describes this place. You should not come here thinking it’s the best looking establishment as its a old school diner… I’m talking about short booths, movable bar seats and few movable tables with a bus boy coming around with a container to throw dirty dishes in after your finished eating! I was immediately seated upon entering and given a menu, the waitress approached shortly after and asked what I wanted to drink which I opted for orange juice and water(please note: no free refills with the exception of water). The Food… Grits — Served hot and thick. You add the butter and salt but it’s oh so good… there grits! Two Eggs, Home Fries and Jumbo Sausage — This was excellent, the sausage was grilled perfectly and every bite had spice! The eggs were scrambled just right and were light as air with the perfect amount of salt! The home fries were a home run with me adding onions which just added some more flavor that wasn’t even needed! My waitress constantly checked on me which I appreciated. What I love about this place is that there are no crazy creations or off the wall food choices… The menu is straight forward with simple items… But the items are executed well and seasoned for people with a heart beat, on a cheat day or who just like good food! I understand that there is a lunch or dinner menu but I have not had the chance to try it yet. Trust me when I say this, if you want some great breakfast and your in the area, you need to visit this place pronto!

My daughter and I love to try out new breakfast restaurants in Miami. The Unilocal reviews made us interested in trying Jimmy’s. We were not disappointed! We ordered the 2 eggs, 2 bacon and hash browns with toast and coffee. Delicious! Crispy hash browns were just right. Great price at $ 8.45! At the end, we decided to split the blueberry pancakes… omg, sooo good! Our waitress, Shorty, was the greatest! She is so sweet and so attentive! We love her! We are definitely going back! There was a 5 minute wait even though it was packed. Dress casual. Relax and enjoy a great meal. Ample parking. Old school diner restsurant… I love them!

A couple of our friends love Jimmy’s and had been telling us that we needed to try this place out. We finally did, came for breakfast with some friends on a Sunday morning. Our friends had reached the diner before us so we did not have to wait for a table, can’t mention how long you may have to wait. Our server was sooooo nice, she said she had just started working there but by the service she provided throughout breakfast you would never know. I went with the corn beef hash breakfast with two over easy fried eggs and their oh so famous hashbrowns. Are the hashbrowns as good as all claim? YES, yes they are. These hashbrowns are crispy and delicious, and the portion they give you is pretty big(not in my case though, I could eat platefuls of these.) The corn beef hash was great, not greasy and good meat to potato ratio. The eggs were a little less than over easy but I’m ok with that, not a deal breaker, I just want that yolk to be nice and runny. You will see all different kinds of people dining here, from older folk to a young crowd to police officers, it’s your typical neighborhood diner. I’m glad I finally listened to my friends and gave them a try, I’ll be a regular for sure.

Jimmy’s is an institution in Miami– a piece of history and any attempt to change it would probably result in some sort of anarchy by it’s patrons! I’ve been here more times than I can count since I discovered it on Unilocal in my search for more breakfast places. The constant mention of best hash browns in Miami got me to go and now I will reiterate the same thing you have read«best hash browns ever!!!» This place is a diner in every sense of the word– décor, ambience, prices. If you don’t want a blast from the past then stay away. I have always had great service. One of the servers there– I forget her name– has been there for over 20 years!!! She’s sweet and efficient at what she does. As for the food, I go for breakfast. You can’t beat their hash browns no matter how hard you try. They are perfectly crispy and packed tight into a bundle of spud heaven! I get it with two eggs, corned beef hash, toast, & coffee all for a staggering $ 8.45! The price alone gets me to drive here! The portions are huge and just what you need to get your weekend started right! So next time you’re debating where to go for breakfast, give ol’ Jimmy’s a try!
