Bryan Park

Great playground and great tennis courts. Staff takes care of it and makes it a safe environment.

This park was ruined ever since they added the fence. I tried going to my childhood park to reminisce and was stalked by the park keeper like if I was a criminal. No longer can you hope to go to the park and lay down in the middle of the field at midnight to look at the stars. There used to be a basketball court and they took it down to put tennis courts that can’t be used whenever you feel like if some group has reserved it. This is what happens to free and open Parks when too much politicians, Tomas regalado in this case, get involved to appease the few people that want to regulate everything.

Lovely Park! We came across Bryan Park one day as we were headed to the mall and decided to come back to check it out. The place is a hidden gem nestled in between houses but it is beautiful. What I loved most is how well kept it was, and all of its amenities. It has a large kid playground area with just about anything you can imagine. It has picnic tables in nicely shaded areas across from the kids, so that you can keep an eye on them while they play. The tennis courts are also across from that, so you can get a pretty good view of everything. What I loved the most is the all the empty space, when you walk back behind the bathrooms and the tennis court you not only find a workout area (which is great!) but also a large field to throw a ball around, or play sports. So overall very great!

A friend of mine brought me out here for some tennis on a Sunday afternoon. There are 3 well-​kept tennis courts. It had just rained, so we grabbed two of the roller-​squeegees available to help dry off the courts. There is a net between 2 of the courts to keep our errant hits off other people’s courts. There is also a park area with lots of trees and a badass playground. The sign said there was an age limit of 12 for the playground, so I thought better of joining the 6 year olds that were playing on it. One of the best parts is the chilled water fountain, so after an hour of running around in the midday heat, you can cool yourself off. Also, we were passed by the ice cream man about 5 times, so its the perfect spot to have your ice cream come to you.
