Weil Forrest Gump einfach cool ist, mussten wir natürlich zu Bubba Gump. Wir hatten Rippchen und frittierte Popcorn Shrimps. Dazu noch ein Bier und nen Shake oder sowas, was der Kellner empfohlen hat. War alles superlecker. Meine Rippchen sind fast vom Knochen gefallen. Der Kellner war auch sehr freundlich und hat sich Zeit genommen für uns.
Geheimtipp: Guckt vorher besser nochmal den Film, denn wenn ihr eine Quizfrage richtig beantwortet, gibt’s noch n Dessert für umme.

I have wanted to go to this place for a long time. I keep missing it in Chicago so here I am in Miami and thought, why not. So, It is a tourist trap. They have a gift shop with Forrest Gump stuff. Food is good. It’s not excellent and mind blowing. It’s good. I wish they had an etoufee and I wish they made their gumbo and their other seafood soup without sausage (as I don’t eat pork). Waiter was really nice, but then towards the end, we waited for dessert for a good 10 minutes. We had ordered 2 key lime pies and we got one. 10 minutes later, the waiter comes with 2 and we give him the empty plate of the original key lime pie. So, this place gets 4 stars because of the end of service wait and the 4 star quality food.

O Bubba é uma rede de restaurantes americana, inspirada no filme Forrest Gump. Já visitei três casas da rede. Baltimore, Flórida e Santa Monica. O serviço é bastante padronizado. A decoração das casas remete ao filme, e os pratos a base de camarão, fogem um pouco da exuberância de comida dos restaurantes americanos. São mais comedidos, mas muito saborosos.
Essa casa da Biscaine blvd, segue bem os padrões da rede. O Atendimento é bastante competente, e a refeição dentro do esperado. É um ótimo lugar para refeições em grupo, pois é fácil conseguir uma mesa grande, e eles oferecem contas individuais se solicitado.
O meu destaque fica para a panela de camarões com milho e linguiça. Na minha opinião o melhor prato da rede. Mas fica a dica: Se você não é um amante inveterado das pimentas, peça com Garlic Sauce, do contrário, se prepare para o suadouro.

Wow. Walked into this place and sat at the bar. No one acknowledged is. We saw a menu sitting there, and looked. Some one saw us, smiled and said hi. We said hi back. He came over and asked what we wanted to drink. Friend ordered a corona light, I ordered a dirty martini… to this he ROLLED HIS EYES and walked away. Sat there another 10 minutes… He clearly wasn’t making our drink order. He then walked away. During all of this, the two other people behind the bar never looked at us. Was clear nothing was going to happen. We got up and left. NEVER have I experienced that terrible of «service.» Amazing.

Delicious. I had the I am stuffed shrimp and the shrimp Mac and cheese. Our server was fast and friendly (Marcus). I don’t come here very often because I live very far away, but when I do its always very good.
My one complaint: they have Pepsi and not Coke.

Had the shrimp macaroni. It was excellent. Sadly, that was an appetizer, not a meal.
For my meal, I ordered the seafood feast. The shrimp came to the table cold, and the fish was bland at best.
My son got the stuffed shrimp and said it was excellent. Sadly, I can’t give a better review for his meal because I’m reviewing mine.
Also, lost points for bringing Pepsi when I ordered Coke.

While here we had the appetizer sampler which was enough to feed two people. We probably shouldn’t have ordered meals after the appetizer. Portions were big and the food was tasty. Our waitress was entertaining, but it did take a while to get service from time to time.

So I am giving it 2 stars because our server was pretty awesome and the concept for the restaurant is really cool. So now as far as the food goes I expected so much more considering it is called a shrimp factory :(I was so disappointed :(the shrimp that was served were salad shrimps Yes I said salad shrimp tiny and tasteless. Our exact order: Cajun shrimp appetizer, gumbo and a shrimp po boy. I also have to include that it is pretty pricey and absolutely not worth it.

Steamed shrimp is very good. Ready good. The source is quite special. Different from other restaurant.
Will come again next time.

My boyfriend and I go to Bubba Gump Shrimp every time we’re in Miami. It’s our thing. We usually get one appetizer and one meal to share along with our drink of choice. R to the J is a Bartender there and he truly livens the place up. He is engaging with his Forest Gump Trivia and makes the absolute best strawberry mojitos. Way better than the Mojitos at Mojito Bar (right next door).
Today we ordered the shrimp Mac and Cheese which was delicious!

What a way to start the new year! Not too long ago, I came to Bubba Gumps and had a less than perfect experience. I contacted them via their website, and was soon thereafter contacted by Juan, the general manager of the Bayside location. He invited me to come back for a meal, and bring a guest. He said he would comp our food, if we were willing to give them another chance. I told him today would work well, and he warned me that he may be gone by the time I projected to arrive, but he had briefed the evening manager of my expectancy. Wouldn’t you know it? I was almost 45 minutes late — never mind the fact that I was in front of Bayside ten minutes before my reservation time! Miami is so. special, isn’t it? Fast forward to the restaurant. Juan, was indeed, gone, however he told the manager following him, Eddie, to expect me. My fiancé and I were seated with Rochelle, and she was such a sweetheart. We had a few drinks, had the steamed garlic shrimp for an app, and two perfectly cooked entrees before heading home. I had the seafood feast, and Javy had some sort of seafood pot. Both were awesome! We will most definitely stop back. Oh! The lava flow is A M A Z I N G !! It’s a sweet twist on a piña colada mixed with strawberries. We copied the recipe when we got home, and had them in our cute Bubba Gump cups!

We enjoyed our waiter, Brian, very much. He was very enthusiastic and had a very good attitude! The food was very delicious, but it was overpriced for the portions. Bubble Gump is a very neat concept. I would recommend checking this neat eating establishment!

My fiancée, his father and I went here during our stay in Miami, and it was such a good time. We love bubba gump in NYC so we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed. Our waiter was so much fun! He did trivia with us about the movie, and he gave me a light up cup for answering correctly– MADE MY WHOLE DAY! The cajun shrimp is delicious, and the baby fried shrimp as well. Hell, everything is good! The experience and décor is what really make it worth going! AND its in a shopping mall– good food and shopping? Cannot complain!

When you sit at the bar and get passed numerous times, the space DIRECTLY in front of you gets cleared, the manager comes by to «help» them, and yet you still haven’t been acknowledged (not even «I’ll be with you» or a simple «hello»…or eye contact), you can be sure you’ve made it to Bubba Gump Shrimp at Bayside. Was it crazy busy? No. Just regular bar busy. Nothing I haven’t seen and succesfully been able to order from before. Never ate… or drank.

We were pondering upon Bayside shopping center and thought this place had a cool theme to it so we decided to try it out. The restaurant was made to look like a fishing boat type of deal. The name probably gives out that this is a seafood restaurant and more specifically shrimp. Shrimp was practically in almost all menu items. Luckily, for non-​seafood consumers like myself, there was a couple of steak options. My friend ordered Shrimper’s Heaven which had fries and like a couple options of shrimps in each cup whether it’s grilled/​fried/​coconut shrimp/​tempura/​whatever. I ordered the 9oz steak that came with mashed potatoes and onion rings. Both portion was huge, definitely enough food to filed us up. We also ordered smoothies on the side, oh my goodness this was seriously the best smoothie I’ve tasted in my life. Order Run Forest Run smoothie, you won’t regret it. Jamba Juice, you need to step up your smoothie game now!
What was interesting about Bubba Gump was that they had signs on the table that you can flip to a certain color meaning you need service or have a question and a server will come assist you! Our server Ricky provided us with stellar service, the manager also came talk to us hearing that we are visiting from Seattle. All the staff was great, the whole experience was wonderful!

I love this place. We come here a lot. The food always great, the drinks as well. We come in big groups so they attend us very well.

We had a party of 8 for a Friday night. We had a 55 minute wait but the time flew by really fast.
We had a great time and the food was awesome!

Sollte jeder der mal in Miami ist sich auf gar keinen Fall entgehen lassen egal ob Forrest Gump Fan oder nicht, denn das Essen ist super lecker, die Bedienung super cool und lustig, aber das Beste ist wirklich das Ambiente!
Und selbst preislich ist voll kommen in Ordnung selbst wenn man ein gutes Trinkgeld gibt ;)

1. When ordering a drink from the menu, we were told the price changed and that it was $ 4 more.
2. For a seafood restaurant it had 3 items on gluten green menu.
3. Beer was warm, mango mojito had no mojito flavor. They did switch out the beer for a cold one, and added mango to the mojito.
4. The crab was over cooked (on 2 pots).
5. Multiple servers walking by our sign that we needed help (we stopped a host for help).

My friends and I had a great time here our last night in Miami. The atmosphere was right out of the movie, and made the experience one to remember. Our server Ken was awesome!
I had the stuffed mushrooms for my appetizer and would highly recommend them!

Lebt sicher mehr vom Namen als von der Qualität der Speisen. Hier gibt es Burger und Seefood. Beides haut einem nicht wirklich um, das Ambiente ganz schön gestaltet — die Preise sind ok.

The place is in a nice touristy spot, very clean, calming, nice view, and a little souvenir shop to the left of the main entrance.
When I looked at the menu, it was a little short, lots of shrimp dishes :) thats to be expected, and there is also non-​shrimp dishes! But not that many.
They have some very good desserts and lemonade drinks, or Purrees (however you call it lol). Those taste very very fresh and very good.
The service was amazing and attentive no doubt about that!
The only problem was, the food was expensive, they didn’t serve a lot, and it was 3.5÷5 at most.
I ordered a mushroom burger, it wasn’t bad, it was good and the patty was cooked medium well the way I liked it, and the french fries were delicious, but it was over priced.
When I go to places, I care about the food more than the service, I know service can be different everyday and a place can’t be solely judged on it, but if service is average but the food was amazing the place is a 5. But when we have amazing service for average food, it’s kind of a 3 for me.
Overall, if you like shrimp come here. Foods good, just very overpriced for my budget.

We were shopping at the Bayside marketplace and started getting hungry so we wandered into Bubba Gump shrimp. The restaurant itself is quite large complex with an outdoor seating area as well as a huge gift shop and the indoor air-​conditioned café. Most of my stars are given for the actual food itself the star that was deducted was for the service or lack there of at times. I had the Cajun shrimp and the pear and berries salad which was absolutely amazing. I don’t know what they put in the dressing but I wanted to lick the plate. My girlfriend ordered the coconut shrimp which was very large and crispy and flavorful. The margaritas were very fresh tasting as well and pack quite a punch!
It was a Sunday so we had to have a little patience since the place was busy but like I said I deducted one star for service only because when we sat down it took someone 20 minutes to even come say hello and get us menus.
This restaurant is great to bring the family and easy to bring in a stroller and seat small children and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get

Foods are good but could be better. A nice place to have dinner and enjoy the bayside. I was a little bit disappointed because I thought the shrimps would be fresh from sea (this is Miami!), but they were not, just like the jumbo shrimps I have at home.

Also absolut Top gute Location. Sehr nette und schnelle Bedienung. Alles sehr sehr lecker. Preis angemessen. Wir haben nichts zu meckern.

Ich kannte bis dato nur das Bubba Gump Restaurant aus New York am Times Square und freute mich somit schon riesig, endlich mal ein anderes Restaurant der Kette, die auf den Film Forrest Gump aufbaut, zu besuchen.
Dieses Restaurant liegt Downtown Miami direkt am Wasser im Bayside Marketplace.
Hier findet man viele Restaurants und Shops in einer kleinen Open Air Mall.
Optisch erkennt man das Restaurant natürlich sofort wieder. Der Fischerhütten-​Charakter kommt hier natürlich noch besser zu Geltung als in NYC.
Der Außenbereich ist recht groß, wobei dieser im Sommer bei mehr als 30 Grad und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit eher anstrengend ist.
Drinnen ist es dagegen gut runter gekühlt und entspannter.
Der Service ist sehr freundlich und lockerer als in NYC, da es hier einfach relaxter zugeht.
Sie Qualität des Essens ist aber auch wie in NYC super.
Ich hatte den Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi.
Mahi Fisch mit mashed Potatoes kleinen Fries Sticks und Shrimps in einer Bourbon Sauce. Es war einfach klasse!
Dazu gab es eine Coronita. Eine Margarita in der kopfüber ein Corona Bier stand und langsam nachlief.
Wer Event Gastronomie mag und mal etwas anderes besuchen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
Das Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig und der Spass vorprogrammiert!
Tipp: Unbedingt den Chip Chocolate Cookie Sundae als Nachtisch bestellen! :-)) Ein Traum!

Bubba Gump ist ein Muss für Fans von Sea-​Fast-​Food.

Nun, leider war mein Akku gestern Abend leer sonst hätte ich ein paar Fotos geschossen. Wir waren eigentlich sehr zufrieden. Das Essen bei Bubba Gump Shrimp ist gut. Die Shrimps die man dort bekommt sind super. Sehr empfehlen kann ich das Shrimp Bucket mit Cajun Salsa. Die Shrimps sind in dem Sud gekocht. Man muss selber pulen aber die Shrimps sind klasse. Grosser spass. Drinks sind top. Preise allerdings gehoben. Sind halt sehr viele Touristen in der Bayside Market Mall. Besuch kann ich sehr empfehlen. Auch wenn das hier kein Gourmetlokal ist!
