Ordered pollo empanizado, first time in came out it was raw. Sent it back and the second time it came out guess what? raw chicken once again. Waitress was an idiot, communication was nonexistent. It’s no wonder this place closed, it sucked.

Place closed complete surprise to everyone except the owners. Too bad it was the classic Cuban restaurant in the area…

The Tuesday special«Pollo al Ajillo» is to die for! Even if you order the breast, is still moist, not dry at all! I just wish they would do this dish more often! The Camarones al ajillo are my fave! Big shrimps not your average small to mid-size shrimps served in other restaurants! Everything there is good! The waiter & waitresses are friendly making you feel like at home! I have been their loyal cust for over 25yrs & will cont to!

Good place to eat with genuine Cuban food and good service. I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. I love their croqueta preparada and they have the best batido de mamey around.

No recomendado!!!

The food is flavorless and not very good. It takes a long time for the food to come out and the wait staff is very unattentive. It takes forever to get any service and when you do, they act like you are bothering them from what they were doing… mainly standing around doing nothing. I have had the chicken which was very dry and salty. The rice and beans were ok, but can you really mess up rice and beans? The vaca frita was also very dry and over cooked. If you are looking for Cuban food, there are so many other places you can go to in Miami that is 10x better than this place.

I’ve been eating at Larios for over 15 years and it’s my favorite Cuban take-out place. Highly recommend the arroz con pollo, vaca frita and arroz con frijoles. They also have the best croquetas in town! Service is fast and food is great. One of the best Cuban restaurants in Miami.

And do not, I repeat, DONOT forget to try their flan de mamey, it is to die for! I always take some home with me ;) all in all, great place. Highly recommended if your in the mood for some cuban cuisine.

I really like Cuban food it is a treat for me. The fresh squeezed lemonade is refreshing and delicious. The food comes out fairly quick during lunch time so perfect if I am on my 1hr lunch break. The service is great too! I’ve had the chicharrones de pollo and the bistec empanizada and both were great dishes. My friend ordered the mojo pollo. that dish is MASSIVE but omgfreaking goodness probably the juiciest and flavorful chicken we both ever had. Only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the side dishes were a bit cold and the chicharrones de pollo weren’t really chicharrones but more like breaded chicken nuggets.

I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious Cuban breakfast. Went with my family and everyone was happy. The toast is amazing. Will come back soon for dinner and give it a try.

We went for breakfast, it was alright. My croquetta tasted like it had black beans in them which was odd.

Dumpsite. Awful food, awful service, everything was just awful. Fried cheese was mozzarella sticks straight out of the freezer section at Sedano’s… Topped with the finest canned peas and red pepper bits. Chicharrones de pollo were greasy and tasteless. Service sucked. Our waiter was inattentive and borderline rude. So terrible I’m keeping this review short bc I don’t want to relive this experience.

Casa Larios has a become a staple in South Florida and it’s here to stay. The food is fresh and tasty. The customer service is top notch. The patrons are respectful to those around them although the chatter from this packed house can get loud, it’s still easy to conversate with your friends & family. I used to eat breakfast here every saturday with two good friends and the prices are cheap alongside the food being excellent. The employees grew familiar with us and even would have our order practically ready for us once we stepped through the door. A business with employees who actually take pride in their work each and every day? Yes, it still exists! For anyone new to this restaurant, they have specials all week and you cannot go wrong with any of the entrees there. The sandwiches I would guess are just as good however I haven’t had one from Casa Larios yet. My regular order/recommendations: Vaca frita with a side of tostones or the arroz con pollo. Both are great and filling.

I haven’t been to Lario’s since the Miami Heat was born. I liked it back then, it was new and exciting. The food was good and the eye candy, well, it’s Miami, even 7 – 11’s have that occasional«Hey did you see that»! But, it was a good place to go with my workmates. Now let’s jump forward 15 years, and Lario’s kinda falls into the same regard as Cami’s Seafood(remember them). It’s good, but it needs a facelift. We had the Vaca Frita, it was good, the waitress never brought over a lime slice, but it was still good. But, like a relationship that went away and then you run into them again, just not the same. It’s a good lunch spot, parkings good, even for Doral, traffic wasn’t bad. Service was ok, not killer and the eye candy, was more of a granola bar, it’s ok, but it’s no 7 – 11, but it’s certainly no Sugar Cane either!

I have been here several times. Favorites are: Vaca Frita(pulled flank steak pan fried), Arroz con Pollo, Pollo a la Plancha, and Chuletas de Puerco. This is the«original» restaurant, don’t waste your time on going into Larios on the Beach or Larios in South Miami — this is the ONE. I don’t know what happened last time but it seems that the Vaca Frita was not all the way FRITA??? what happened Casa Larios. your’e slacking!!! They also have the Tostones Rellenos, which are yummi. Tostones are shaped in a form of a basket and filled with ground meat(picadillo). It’ yumi. The Maduros are great!!! Everyday they have specials going on, from Mon thru Sun. Good ambience, nice décor. Enjoy cuban food!!!
