Not really crazy about these tacos. They’re a bit too greasy. Food didn’t have much taste. There’s much better Tacos in Miami.

I actually have eaten here a handful of times. The food is pretty good. A little pricey. The place could use a good cleaning but besides that, the food and staff are great. I really enjoy the chicken taco salad!

Not terrible but not great either. My boyfriend and I ordered the fiesta plate and we were not satisfied. The taquitos were flavorless and the quesadilla and refried beans were average. Definitely could make better food at home for cheaper. I don’t think we will be returning.

I am a taco snob, yes I do enjoy my tacos. After eating them for over 20 years at my local cantina, The 5 Burro Café here in Queens NY, I know what a good taco tastes like. While visiting in Kendall Florida recently I came across Ernesto’s Taco Shop. Located in a strip mall, where else, this taco joint is open almost 24 hours. I ordered 3 tacos; al Pastor, beef, and pork with a side of rice and beans. These tacos were amazing fresh and full of flavor. As I sat there eating my meal I realized that I had just found a taco as good as the 5 Burro’s or anybody else’s for that matter. If you live in the Kendall area or are just visiting give Ernesto’s a try. I think you’ll also agree that these are some tasty tacos!

Do NOT come here!!! The worse customer service I’ve ever experienced! I was a regular every Friday chimichanga was our thing, however, tonight I came in ordered the usual and I was given the smallest and nastiest chicken burrito which was sogy, cold, and very small($ 9) not worth it! Went back to explain the mix up, they wouldn’t accommodate someone they recognize as a regular and wouldn’t admit to their mistake. Very rude staff was arguing with me while other guests were in there as well. Saturday 12÷13÷15 @2am.

This place is great! Although its doesn’t look like much, you will leave Satisfied and will return. Check it out and try the steak nachos. Food portions are more than enough and they have many delicious items on the menu. Prices are decent too.

The BEST Mexican food in Miami. After leaving San Diego, I’ve been homesick for some a tasty taco shop. Finally found one in which I will drive 30 mins from South Beach to enjoy!

After four years in Miami, I’ve finally found my go-to burrito place. I could never find anything that compared to the ubiquitous Carne Asada burrito I grew up on in southern california. Just meat, pico, and guac. Everything here is tainted with rice and beans. Except Ernestos. And their carnitas are perfectly crispy and flavorful. My only wish would be that there was a less spicy salsa option(I am a total wimp when it comes to heat), so I usually swing by the publix in the same plaza to get something milder.

Just so good after a late night, the enchiladas and burritos are so, so great after a long night of going out it just hits the spot better then anything in Kendall at 3 am. Also all the hot sauces are great, some being very spicy some just being great and tasty.

I had the 3 amigos. 3 tacos, you pick among five different styles. They were good. Nothing great but still good tacos. My wife had«menudo», it was a bit on the grease side but still it was ok. I would come back for the tacos.

This place is amazing! We stumbled by it, late night on a weekday looking for something to eat. Little hole in the wall, I felt as if I was in South America with the menu on the wall, prices were great. I ordered the California Fries oh my!!! what a treat! A bed a fries with chopped meat on top, a bed of tomatoes on top of that with shredded cheese on top. As a side they had guacamole and sour cream. It was delicious! one of those dishes you start and can’t stop eating. Late night food, lunch or dinner this is a great little spot.

It was a Tuesday around 10 pm or so, taco Tuesday was almost over and I needed my taco fix, all the other places I wanted to go to were 5 mins away from closing, so here it came Unilocal to the rescue!!! I found Ernesto’s and went. It’s located in a shopping plaza on Kendall Dr and I think 107th Ave. There were not that many patrons in there. The menu is kind of extensive but I opted for 2 tacos al pastor, they were juicy and tasted good, my only complaint is that they put a pile of raw onions on top of them, I had to picked them out because I simply dislike them(my boyfriend would’ve complained later), he chose two chicken tacos and at home he had to add some salsa from a jar, so I’m guessing the were lacking some flavor. We also had to have a Jarritos, we had the pineapple one, no complaints there. All in all, it was an OK experience. I might be back if I’m craving some tacos late at night and there’s no place open, I just don’t see myself going back for other reason.

Can we say scrumptious fish burritos! By far, the BESTTACOS and that’s not the only thing they sell. Great Mexican food, customer service, and so many options! Love the tacos and burritos, but you don’t have to choose– get a combo platter to please. It’s like a cornucopia of deliciousness before your very eyes! Come hungry and call in your order for faster service cause this place is always packed.

I love tacos. Hard tacos, soft tacos. chicken tacos, fish tacos; all of them. These tacos however? Were quite disappointing. I was genuinely hoping to have a new taco spot near my office, and was pretty underwhelmed by my lunch here. The bathroom had five mosquitoes flying around. There were no paper towels nor soap, which was my first red flag. How are the people who handle the food washing their hands then? My number was called after about 5 minutes. I had ordered the three amigos: chicken, steak, and beef. That, plus a soda rang out to $ 10.75. Not a bad price, for good food. The food I received however? I’d pay $ 5, maybe. I received three tacos, each cold and soggy. The guac atop the steak and beef tacos tasted watered down, and the ‘pico’ was mushy diced tomatoes in water. The steak itself was chewy, but the beef and chicken MEAT were flavored well. That, plus the crispy chips are the only reason I give three stars. The tray my food was placed on had wet guacamole smeared on it, as if it wasn’t washed from its last use. Bottom line, this place is pretty gross; however I feel like it was a bad day for them. The reviews make me think I should give it another chance. Next time I’ll go with something different though.

Love the food here. Open 24 hours! The fiesta plate is awesome(carne quesadillas). There is new location opening in Kendall too! Can’t wait. Small mom and pop place, nothing fancy but great food.

This is a hidden gem, and my favorite place to get tacos or in my case quesadillas in the Kendal area. I began eating here 8 years ago and the quality of the food has never gone down. They serve a wide variety of items such as tortas, tacos, quesadillas, and chimichangas. Quick and efficient service is the rule, though it can sometimes get packed which might cause a slight wait. Take this as a sign that the food is truly amazing. If your feeling extra hungry try the fiesta plate which has taquitos, frijoles, and a quesadilla! I pass by here any time I am in the area and sometimes find myself making excuses to make the drive down south just to eat here. Go, but beware the cravings that are sure to follow!

I’ve been coming to this taco shop for about 8 years and every time I go it never ceases to surpass my chimichanga needs. Everything made in this little shop is fresh and made to order. The portions are very generous and comes with tortilla chips. This place doesn’t get nearly enough recognition as it should for its amazing food. The owner is always there and very nice!

Ok, this place is no Chipotle, however the lines are shorter. Having said that there’s probably a good reason why the lines are shorter. The place is open 24 hrs except on Sundays which reflects on their cleanliness. It has a strange smell of mildew and they’re not very neat. The food is o.k. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone fearing I’d lose my credibility. I was craving a burrito today and I know how long the lines are at chipotle, especially on the weekend so you can say I kinda settled for Ernesto’s. It’s not the worst I’ve had but you won’t leave 100% satisfied. They do have a very delicious Horchata, which is hard to find in south Florida.(It’s a rice based drink with cinnamon) I guess you’ll just have to try it, I don’t want to be responsible for an unsatisfactory experience. I’m not co-signing.

Made a pit stop here today as I was craving some home made tacos. I must say that their prices are great. Reasonable. I ordered their combo#7 which happened to be the carne asada combo which brought, two corn tortillas, mexican rice, refried beans, guacamole and chips. It was good except that it lacked salt. They have a lunch special of a chicken burrito, chips, salsa and a drink for $ 7.99, which I think it’s a good deal for a quick lunch. I also liked how they have traditional mexican goodies and Jarritos. The place is small but their menu is ample and they also serve breakfast. I will give it another try in the near future. It definitely beats processed foods from taco bell.
