Wrong experience today. Ordered soup and sesame chicken. The soup container was completely crushed upon delivery arrival. Never happened to me before. As soon as I took the order from the fuy who delivered, he litterally ran away…

It’s a nice place, quiet and clean. They have fair prices and very generous dishes. Besides, the crew is amazing, nice and gentle.

Some of the worst Chinese food in town – unequivocally! I don’t have an ax to grind here. I don’t work for a rival joint. I’m simply a dissatisfied customer who had hoped to eat a decent meal. Here’s what went down: 1) some of the food I was served was cold and some of it seemed microwaved, 2) it was overpriced, and 3) the Shrimp Fried Rice I ordered had only two pieces of shrimp – and not the jumbo variety, either. I’m not the complaining type, so I just ate what I was given. I really would have liked some shrimp to come with my shrimp dish, though. Conclusion: I’d avoid it if I were you.(I knew going in that it’s a Chinese restaurant in Miami, so I wasn’t expecting to be spirited away to Hong Kong after ever bite. I’m a realist. Still, it managed to fall below the low bar I set for it. There are plenty of good options about town. I’ll stick to those from now on.)

Tried them again today and ordered a large shrimp and roast pork fried rice. I literally got 3 shrimp and ham(no roast pork). I’m done! Why is there no decent Chinese food that is reasonably priced in the downtown area? Ridiculous!

This is fast reasonably priced Chinese food within walking distance from our home. We were the only people in the dining room but I am pretty sure most of their business is done for delivery. We had the crispy duck soup, steamed BBQ pork buns and Singapore noodles. All of it was really good. My favorite was the Singapore noodles which had a nice ginger flavor. The servers were friendly and prompt. This is basic Chinese food that is far better then the sugary and greasy chain Chinese that is generally the only option in a city like Miami.

Small restaurant in Brickell. This is my go to spot for Asian food. Fresh and fast. My typical order consists of fried wanton skins and veggie fried rice. I’ll be back and I do recommend it.

Just ordered from here for the first time. First, I was given a window of 40 – 60 mins for delivery. They ended up delivering in 20. Major points there. Next, the food is pretty good. Would definitely order from here again.

Singapore style noodles with extra sauce on the side & pork dumplings… Dynamite!!! Gotta have it once a week. That is the only thing I order!

The food here is mediocre. I was disappointed by the fried tofu. My shrimp wonton soup was ok. However surprisingly their crispy duck noodle soup was good. BUT their service is terribleeeee!!! We said thank you when they gave us water and our entrees and they don’t say anything back. We questioned how they cook certain dishes and they got really defensive and gave us an attitude.

Let me preface by saying that although we have lived in downtown for 8 yrs, we JUST started ordering from here. Why? Because we are creatures of habit. We always ordered from another place that was good, prompt, consistent. Then one fine day we called for delivery and GASP, they were closed for vacation. The whole restaurant!!! Lol. Still craving Chinese, my BF googled Chinese delivery near us and up popped First Hong Kong Café. We ordered egg rolls, shrimp fried rice and General Tso’s chicken. The food arrived and it was YUMMY! The shrimp in the rice were medium to large shrimp and they weren’t skimpy on the amount either. We immediately agreed that this was our new«go to» place. This past weekend we had a bizarre experience with them, prompting me to write this review. Friday night, it was raining and we thought it was a Netflix and Chinese kinda night. We ordered our food at 8:55PM and waited… and waited. It was Friday night so we figured, delivery might take a bit longer. Although I would like to point out we are less than .5 miles from the restaurant. We called at 10:15PM and they assured us the food was on it’s way but he would call the driver anyway to get an ETA and call us back w/that info. Well, by 11PM, we never got a call and we knew we were not getting our food. Saturday afternoon, we got a weird call from the delivery service asking if we ever received our food. He then explained that the restaurant outsources their delivery service. Then hung up. Ok that was weird. At around 4:30PM, I decided to call the restaurant to let them know what happened. I was told the owner would not be in until 6−630PM but he would relay the message. At 6PM, we got a call from the owner apologizing for the previous night’s lack of delivery. She immediately offered to deliver us our food that night, free of charge!!! We arranged for it to be delivered at 8PM. At 7:51PM our food arrived and it did not disappoint. Chicken in black bean sauce, pork fried rice and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were really good. A lot of filling. Some places give you a large wonton with a little bit of filling that is more cream cheese than anything. Not these. These were overly stuffed with a nice ratio of crabmeat to cream cheese. The chicken was delish and the rice too. The portions are always larger than you’d expect. Average of 4 – 6 servings. I applaud the owner for promptly addressing the delivery issue. I recommend this place to everyone in the area.

Overall, very good food and flavor and a pleasantly quiet spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. The lunch specials are a good value and they offer several vegetarian options .The servers have a pleasant attitude and will accommodate requests, most recently adding in tofu to the Vegetable Delight without an extra charge. Tried the General Tso’s chicken on our last visit and it was delicious! Some of the soups are very gelatinous and wish they were more of a brothy consistency… otherwise no complaints!

Mediocre food, and too expensive to be mediocre. Food is noticeably worse than at their Coconut Grove location. Had my usual order — General Tso’s chicken. Fried breaded exterior was not crisp. Flavors also were just not there. Much more bland than at their other location. It all tasted very much of the fried exterior. For what it’s worth, the staff is friendly.

I won’t comment on the food because It wasn’t my style but their hospitality is amazing! The owner was extremely sweet! Took his time with us and even let me eat a free spring roll when I asked if it was good… And it was.

This place seats about 24 people total, so it’s cozy. However, it’s comfortable and has a great menu to choose from. It includes great appetizers, traditional Chinese dishes and dim sum. This café is open everyday until 10pm, which is a real bonus for the condo and hotel dwellers. They also offer local delivery(for a nominal fee; guy on moped). The service is speedy and friendly too. I ordered their BBQ spare ribs and House Special fried rice. The ribs were super sticky, tender and delicious. Unlike others, these were full size, meaty ribs. The fried rice was on the drier side, but the various meats worked well in this dish. Plus, there were tasty vegetable included as well(white & green onions, bean sprouts). Although the meat was plentiful in the fried rice, there were only 3 shrimp in the large order($ 12). At least they were large and fresh! This is a place I’ll frequent while I’m downtown. Great value coupled with close proximity and delicious food… yes! Plus, the music here is really cool. Retro 60’s and 70’s.

I normally don’t like to eat Chinese food unless it’s the only option but today I wanted to not only have done but also try this place since I’ve always walked past but never inside of it. First of all I must say that everything I ordered came very quickly. I loved that. I ordered the General Tso Chicken Lunch Special that came win either white or brown rice and spring rolls or soup. I chose white rice and the spring rolls. Spring rolls were smaller than I’m used to but it was all good except the rice, I didn’t really touch it. A lot of food so I didn’t mind much. All in all, good experience. Waiters were friendly. You could tell the girl was new but she was nice and didn’t make any mistakes with my order so I was fine. They did however, make me feel awkward sometimes.

Best available delivery for Chinese food in the downtown Miami area by far. First ordered here about a year ago through Seamless(which I was pleasantly surprised to find available down in Miami) Back then I ordered a lot of their dim sum which I always enjoy having. On a subsequent visit, they were not on Seamless anymore and I was kind of bummed thinking they went out of business.(I didn’t even remember their name) On this current trip I went found them on Grubhub and they are as good as ever. Dim sum, egg rolls and even their main course dishes are great. I am especially happy that they don’t drown their food in sauces. The Mongolian beef was amazingly dry(this is a good thing) Please keep this up. A lot of NY takeout places are even drowning their food in sauce.

Great dim sum! Placed an online order for a lunch delivery and the food arrived half an hour early. The lunch specials include a won ton soup or spring roll and a choice of white or brown rice. Portions are generous. Careful, vegetarians! The won ton soup contains ground pork and the broth is meat based as well. My vegetable delight had a nice amount of mixed crunchy-tender veggies but the brown sauce lacked that little sweetness to balance out the salt. The spinach and shrimp dumplings on the other hand, were so great that next time, I will just order off their extensive dim sum menu. I was thrilled to see the assortment of steamed dumplings and buns. In fact, this is the only place in Miami I was able to find vanilla custard buns, my breakfast staple during my China visit. They are big and pillowy and have a wonderful warm and gooey vanilla filling. I could eat about 20 of them. Definite repeat.
