The food here is by far the best in my opinion. It is always fresh. I know that there are a lot of Fritangas in the area but there are none like this one. The price is right and the Carne Asada it’s on point. I work near by and this is where I try to point people to.

Ive been to a lot of fritangas in my day… and this place is pretty damn awesome. Service is always good and food is always great. I think everything is made in house. The cacao is a little too sweet sometimes but my friends see me as strange for thinking that. Maybe im crazy. The carne asada portions are more than enough and the taste is damn great. I dont eat much so one plate will last me 3 meals or so. If you have a big apitite, they’ve got your back. Eat here

During my lunch break at FIU, a friend and I looked up restaurants in the area. Seeing the positive reviews, we decided to give this little spot a try. We were definitely not disappointed. The Carne Asada and Gallo Pinto were wonderful. We also tried a handful of other sides like the Queso Frito and Mashed Potatoes, also spectacular. Don’t judge this spot by the shopping center it is in. This little family owned restaurant offers affordable, delicious foods that those in this area should definitely try.

I’ve been here twice already and I really like it. I haven’t tried anything besides the carne asada combo plate, which is well priced. It’s $ 8.50 and it includes three pieces of meat!!! I love their carne asada and I love that they serve a good amount. It has really good flavor. Their gallo pinto, maduros, and salad are also really good. I hope to try more of their food but every time I go I get hypnotized by the meat.

First time trying Fritanga and this place really made it enjoyable. The guy that helped literally explained every plate and type of food they had available. He made some suggestions and I went with it. I enjoyed the Arroz a la valenciana with carne asada, plantains and fried cheese. All the food was delicious. All the people at the small location where super friendly. It really felt very home there. Great spot will be a repeat customer!

This place is great, friendly staff great tasting food, huge variety. I suggest the«Carne Asada» one of the most popular dish you can order, meat is very fresh and juicy go give it a try.

Fairly large portions you can easily share with a loved one. Try the carne asada with gallo pinto(rice and beans) and maduros(fried yellow, sweet plantains! Add a slice of fried cheese if you’re feeling naughty and aren’t counting calories, it’s SO worth it! The raspados are a nice refreshing ultra sweet treat on a hot day! They’re basically shaved ice with different flavors. Try the caramel one it is delicious! Pick up some cuajada(very moist cheese) and tortillas to satisfy a Nica craving at home!
