Overpriced! I ordered online and did not get what I expected. The burrito bowl i got consists of ground meat, rice and beans topped with avocado without much added flavored. There is scarce amount of aioli sauce on top sufficient to for the first couple of bites only. It is close to Chipotle’s bowls without the flavor and 40% higher price(I paid $ 12.84). Won’t repeat.

Was around the area and was starving! So first place to show up was here. 4 ½ stars? 150+reviews? Have to see what its about! And i was not disappointed! Im starting up on my diet and workout plan and this place would be perfect for me! Everything on the menu is natural, they have gluten free and fresh made smoothies! Nice menu for a small area. You wouldn’t expect it when you walk in but the food here is worth 5 stars! I ordered the chicken pesto sw and in about 5 – 10 mins not even it came out! Hows the service? All of them work together, even the hostess helps out the servers. In all in all, i will gladly come back with friends and especially when im looking for something quick and cheap!

Black Bean Veggie Burger=LIFE. My first veggie burger experience ever, and I’m hooked. Try it with goat cheese, y’all. & the sweet potato tots: yum! Sat at the bar prior to closing, great service.

Green Gables Café! Wow what a great place. Affordable and great organic food. As someone who gets to frequents just about every Gables Restaurant, Green Gables is a little diamond on the Organic Food scene. Great services, good prices and good food. Try the Super Food Salad Bowl — Kale, Basmati brown rice, Spinach, Tomatoes, Avocado and a wonderful Miso Dressing. The Cobb salad also is a great choice. If your looking a refreshing yet very healthy drink try the Mighty Mingle! It’s Carrot, beet, celery, cucumber, ginger, Apple and kale. You can’t miss with Green Gables Café!

One of my go to lunch spots in the Gables! Everything I’ve had is so tasty, and on the plus side, it’s clean eating! The staff is super friendly, and the price is fair for the quality and quantity of food you get. It adds up quickly though, so I can’t go as often as I’d like to. Keep up the good work!

Food was very good. Well prepared and tasty. Service definitely leaves something to be desired, or this would be a four star.

My boyfriend and I are trying to go vegetarian. This place seemed to have a good selection of healthy foods ranging from Turkey picadillo with rice to meatless dishes. Most importantly all organic. We had the hummus plate and black bean burgers for each. We were so impressed with the flavor and how delicious our food was from start to finish. The locale is also very cute and quaint. My only complaint is that I wish they would stay open later! Definitely not a deal breaker though. Will be going back very soon.

I love this place ! Their menu is simple and delicious. It is quite small and they do get very busy but the servers are quick and attentive. If you are looking for great vegan/vegetarian food in the Gables then you must give them a try!

I order from here about twice a week. It’s great and they even have free deliver!(With a minimum of $ 15 order) My favorite plate would probably be the Turkey Vaca Frita… it so delicious! Has so much flavor and not dry at all. I also enjoy the side of the sweet potatoes, again lots of flavor and tasty. I would also recommend the oven roster chicken breast sandwich also very tasty! Are you craving something sweet? They got you covered! Try the whole wheat chocolate chip cookie! So good!

This style of food is vegan, vegetarian, and organic. An excellent alternative to have lunch, even though prices aren’t too reasonable, portions are of good quantity and their plate presentation is simple. This place is small and service is quick.

Ordered something to go. When I got to work to eat it, the order was wrong AND my eggs were over cooked. The baguette was incredible tho. I think they use some honey butter that made in taste REALLYGOOD. I guess the $ 12 I paid was worth at least the baguette.

I mostly order breakfast from here and it never ever dissapoints! today I just had the Lox Bagel for the first time and it was too die for. I usually order from here at least once a week for breakfast everything tastes so fresh you can certainly tell its organic. Love it

Been coming here for years. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the food is always tasty and fresh. The turkey vaca frita is amazing. So are the little coconut chocolate thingies and the carrot cake muffins. And the black bean burger and the soup bowl w rice and avocado… can’t go wrong here

I lived within a mile of this place for 2.5 years but only happened to stumble upon it recently after an airport run to pick up some out-of-town friends. What a great find! This menu is extensive for a place that’s not very large — and it has options to satisfy various diets. Items are marked whether they are vegetarian or vegan and everything we tried was fresh. It’s a great find for breakfast or lunch and I also heard they offer catering– something I will keep in mind next time I have a large group of visitors.

This place is the spot to have lunch at in Coral Gables. The manager is so professional and attentive; he calls me by first name every time I come in. The food is delicious and perfectly portioned. They really work with you on picking the perfect lunch for any food allergies you might have. The biggest plus is its 100% organic. This place is a breathe of fresh air in the hustle and bustle of Miami.

Delicious find! and healthy at that. Sadly, I dont expect«Health food» to taste good, but Green Gables defies the odds! Everything on the menu looked delicious! I got the chicken pesto sandwich that was very tasty but I had serious food envy of everyone around me. It seemed like the bowls were the item to order. Looking forward to going back to try more. The staff was also lovely! I had my son with me and they were so sweet and accommodating.

Food was really tasty. Their turkey/vaca frita is good enough to make you feel like your cheating on your diet but in fact healthy. Nice ambiance and excellent lunch spot.

I came here for lunch with eating a healthy meal in mind. If you are on the same boat as me, then this is the place to be! I had the butternut squash soup… Fresh, thick, warm. And the dismantled turkey burrito bowl? I would eat it again in a heart beat! It comes with basmati rice, black beans, turkey Piccadillo and a jalapeño aioli sauce that I substituted for the garlic one, because spicy is not my thing. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I would be back. Finding a place that masters healthy and flavorful is so hard… This one did just that!

The smoothie I ordered was a little off. Too sweet. Tasted like it may have been canned strawberries, syrupy. The food is tasty though.

Ok this place is great! Healthy lunch spot. Never had a bad dish. They have daily specials, like different kinds of fish and salads. The black bean burger is a delicious staple on the menu. House vinaigrette also very tasty. Reasonably priced for wholesome food. My many places like this in the area.

Returned to Green Gables for the first time in over a year and wow did things look and taste great! I have never had a bad dining experience here. The counter area and refrigeration areas were upgraded, looks great, and the staff extremely friendly, like always. Had an Arnold Palmer with their tea and lemonade, a mixed greens salad, and their fish plate of the day. Everything was full of flavor and tasted very fresh! Because the food was so good and it was storming outside, we decided to have coffee and dessert, great decision. We had a carrot cupcake and an espresso, my mouth waters recalling how good the cupcake was. A very complete and satisfying dining experience, Thank You!

Green Gables Café is such a great place for a healthy lunch, located in Coral Gables, along Alhambra street(between Le Jeune Rd. and Salzedo). Nicely decorated, with a spot on service, and a well balanced menu, this restaurant/café has enough options to satisfy your appetite and fix you a smile for the rest of the day. The variety in the menu is perfect. From soups to salads, sandwiches and entrees, you will find tasty and nicely decorated creations mainly inclined to the vegan and vegetarian world, though you will also find some non vegetarian ones, like for example a Veracruzana style Mahi-Mahi, accompanied by a quinoa salad and kale. The Mahi-Mahi is topped with a red sauce and olives that bring to life the flavor of the fish in a perfect delicious way. As a tip, i would also recommend you try the daily soups: Hearty and healthy too. The lentil one is my favorite. Though i would not say this is precisely a place to seat and relax, but more to have lunch and move forward, the décor of the place gives a rest to your mind and lets you make a cut from your work schedule. At the same time, the lively and chatty ambiance of the place is perfect to energize you and be ready to tackle on the duties pending at work, or to skip it at all and enjoy a sunny summer afternoon in the Gables, your choice. Immediately you enter, will be amicable greeted by the hostess, leading you to your assigned table. Place is well known and frequented by the office crowd around, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot. There is also a small bar where you can choose to be seated if you come by yourself or there is not space available at the tables. Service is consistent, precise and fast, so once you are at your table you can expect your experience to flow smoothly during your lunch till you leave. Price wise, for Coral Gables, i find it leaning towards the reasonable to expensive side. Average $$ for a lunch(soup and main plate is around the $ 25), though you have also a combo option of soup & sandwich or soup & salad for a bit less than that. Also please bear in mind the quality of the food and tastiness is top notch. As far as i am aware this is a Monday to Friday place that caters mainly the office workers around, thus not a place to go on weekends(closed). GGC, a place to have within your favorites. Nutritious, healthy and hearty. Amazing combo here.

Stuffed!!! I ate till my heart was content. Today’s meal consisted of a red lentil soup(creamy and with fresh cut veggies), followed by an avocado-kale stuffed sweet potato(I don’t even like onions and cleaned my plate. My last dish was a warmed up organic brownie and of course the traditional Cuban coffee! All this thanks to the beautiful Mari who’s amazing multi-tasking skills are impressive.

One of the best, if not THE best lunch spot in Gables. Staff is great. Place is clean. Prices are reasonable. Ingredients are high quality. Food tastes great. Choices are healthy. I mean, that’s everything, right? The only negative I can think of is actually a positive in my mind: they’re only open Monday through Friday and they close before dinner. But like I said«lunch spot».

There’s been pretty regular at this place from the start. Clean and healthy eating seems like a thing of the past in Miami, except here. The soups are exceptionally good. The vibe is very cool and eclectic. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

I am not a big health food fan. Anyone I know will tell you that. In fact, I pride myself on being anti-health food! But, Green Gables Café is making a believer out of me! Not only is the food«healthified», but it tastes great too. I’ve been here a few times while visiting clients in the Gables, and have tried a variety of items including chicken sandwiches, salads, and their famous black bean burger — all great. The only downsides are that it’s a tight spot(I’m a little claustrophobic), and they don’t open on the weekends. Other than that — good lunch option!

Since starting at Fast Twitch, where I get my rear handed to me 3 days a week, I’ve made the effort to slightly reconsider my eating habits. I’ll curb carb cravings by eating a handful of almonds, I’ll strike my chocolate desires by drinking a small cup of 1% chocolate milk, and now rather than savoring a slice of pizza for lunch, I go to places like Green Gables Café. This lovely little spot proves that eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring. The made-from-scratch soups are all vegan(and decidedly wonderful), the fish of the day entrée beats any other(what I love about this dish is that it feels good enough for dinner!), and the citrus cilantro salad(with avocado, grilled chicken, romaine and a few other items) is my absolute favorite. Since discovering it, I get this salad almost every time. Regarding the portions, either my appetite has waned or GGC’s portions are generous(I’m guessing it’s both). Love this place.
