Three stars for the food, two stars for service. I ate in on a weekday afternoon shortly before the holidays. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but it took a while to order. I had to adjust my original order because they were out a few ingredients necessary for that particular dish. Maybe this was because it was toward the end of the day? Even so, it was disappointing the restaurant didn’t order the proper amount of produce for the day. There seemed to be tension among the staff, as my husband and I could hear them arguing loudly in the kitchen as we attempted to enjoy our lunch. I would give them another shot, but definitely at another location.

Holy Moses, this place is awesome! Very friendly and accommodating staff — we had an infant and they helped us feel very comfortable. The food is exquisitely good, tasty and healthy and there is a great vibe here. Lots of menu options but it’s not overwhelming and it’s easy to sort through the options. I highly, highly recommend this place for anyone who is health-conscious, vegetarian/vegan, raw and living foods oriented. Great stuff!

The staff was very attentive and helpful, but the food was ok. I compare this Choices with the one I used to go in the Roads(back of Brickell) area and the flavor is just not the same. The feel of the place is just not the same.

Visited for my second time and tried their new menu. Food was average. Pricey and small portions.

My new lunch staple near work. Their under $ 10 lunch menu is perfect for the work week. The taco sliders and mentil lentil are my favorites. Vegan Chipotle Mayo on everything.

I’ve wanted to give Choices the benefit of the doubt because their food is pretty good and healthy, but I’ve had several very poor experiences here with their service. This place isn’t cheap either, it’s actually incredibly overpriced, so I expect to get what I pay for. My most recent visit here was the kicker, though. 1. There was one girl in front of me in line, and once she was done ordering the girl taking orders was doing something on the tablet for about 3 – 4 minutes without acknowledging me. 2. When she finally was ready to take my order, she decided to rest her entire upper body on the counter while I ordered. That was just super strange. I guess her struggle is just that real. 3. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant, yet I waiting 25 minutes for my food. 4. When I got my order, the Mental Lentil Wrap, it was missing 3 ingredients(avocado, plantains, and cheese were missing). I told one of the girls working and she asked me if I was sure with a bit of an attitude. Seriously? When I confirmed my «sureness» she went to the kitchen and told her coworkers. The ghetto girl in the kitchen started giving attitude(loudly) about my complaint. After waiting another 5 minutes, the girl I initially told about my missing ingredients brought me a bowl with avocado, plantains, and vegan cheese in it. No apology, no offer to remake my wrap, nothing, just some stuff to try and remake my wrap myself and a whole lot of attitude. If you value good service and want to actually get what you order, I recommend that you don’t eat here. So long Choices, I’ll be seeing you again NEVER!

Beware! This location added additional $$ on the tip line of the bill after I signed. I just looked at my credit card statement and noticed they added $ 10 after I signed for a take out order that I am certain I did not tip for since it was take out! They gave themselves 25% too! Unbelievable!!! — — - Food is good but service is terrible. The location of 27th ave is MUCH better and I recommend you visit that one instead. This location charges for substitutions. Ive eaten at all locations and this is the only one that charges for substitutions. Service is rude here.

All of the food is so delicious(Mentil Lentil, VA’s Insane Mex, Chicken’s Friend and Chicken Homie) that we detoured our return trip from Key West to try other items on the menu. I’ve even leveraged the raw collard green wrap for my plant based diet at home. We ended up accidentally chatting it up with owner and he had us try the pancakes(one savory and another sweet). We absolutely loved this place and begged the owner, Alex and his girlfriend Lori, to consider expanding to the SF bay area and possibly airports(I travel a lot and find it nearly impossible to find healthy airport food). Not only was the store clean, bright and filled with cool pro-animal wall art, but the staff is friendly, positive and helpful in a not too sickening way. They will continue to get my repeat business.

Say YES to Choices Organic Café! I have a friend who’s vegan and her only request is to dine at a place vegan friendly when we go out. After doing some research, I found Choices Café minutes away from me. Healthy, flavorful, and a bang for your buck! Choices Café offers a variety of well… choices. You pick your base(salad, quinoa(extra $ 1), or a whole grain/collard/gluten-free wrap) and then your meal. Choices also offers breakfast and smoothies too, if you’re in the mood for something healthy to kick start your morning. I cam in over the weekend and I ordered the Mental Lentil Wrap($ 16). One word = Delicious. The wrap comes packed with the good stuff(avocado, lentil, plantains and more) and a side salad. I left guilt-free, happy and satisfied. I’ll definitely be stopping again and recommending Choices Organic Café to all my friends.

Amazing — they have Kombucha on tap. All of their food is vegan /plant based and super delicious. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this gem! If only there was one closer to where I live! I hope they expand soon! I got the VA mex over quinoa. It was absolutely delicious and cannot wait to go again!

The place is really good for lunch, I loved the casual and modern atmosphere, clean place, great food… the reason why I put 3 stars is because of the price, $ 15 for a lentil salad box or a wrap seems to be too much even for organic and good ingredients. I can make myself the same food at home for half price… I guess sometimes you have to pay for eatig healthy but, I don’t think is always justified.

Great place to eat healthy. The staff is very friendly, especially Jennie and there is always free stuff to sample. The first time I went was after a bicycle ride. There wasn’t much bike parking outside. Anyways I had the trio pancakes and the let you make the different pancakes which were all amazing. I went again today for lunch and ate the Sergio’s bowl and my wife are the California salad. I sampled the cocoberry smoothie and some teas. I gotta say i am a carnivore but I love this place because you leave feeling healthy and most importantly full. I gave it a five because it is everything for its type of restaurant. It’s fast, well price, good service, and great tasting food.

First time here at this location, I saw a Choices in Little Havana(27th) but never got a chance to try it. I’m glad they opened one in Gables. :) There are now definitely a number of smoothies and healthy/organic quick eateries in Gables to choose from. Upon entering, The place is casual, clean. inviting. All menu items can be wrapped in your choice of whole grain wrap, gluten free wrap, salad, quinoa bowl, or wrapped in collards. I got the mentil lentil wrap and it was delicious, filling, and I felt good/healthy eating it. The tres cakes(which are served til 11 during the week and til 3 on wknds) satisfied my want for something brunch-esquely sweet. Overall, with a cold brewed coffee, our meal was over $ 30. For a casual meal, a bit on the pricey side. So Choices will be a once– in-a-while choice but I do def want to try some of their other menu items and smoothies :)

I absolutely loved this place. The idea, concept, food… very modern, organic, healthy and trendy to this generation. Coral Gables is a great spot for them but I’d love to see more around Miami or more like them. It definitely attracts a young crowd, the music and ambiance is fairly peaceful, clean and friendly. They have great breakfast options so I’ll have to go back and try. I wanted a light healthy dinner and that’s what I got with great taste. I got a quinoa bowl with tofu, pito de gallo, onions all on a bed of greens. This white sauce over it was a killer! So good… Breakfast, lunch or dinner, healthy, fast and casual this is a place to try.

I am by no means vegan but choose to dine here, at minimum, twice a month. They are very well situated in an area of coral gables where there is always parking, plus they are very close to my office. While I have not tried all the dishes, I am nearly obsessed with both the insane mex and the mental lentil. And while I normally choose the salad or quinoa bowl option, I really can’t dig the price on this. Getting either as a salad means spending at minimum $ 18 on lunch. I would pay the same for the filet salad at Hillstone, but this is sit down service. Yes, the salad is both delicious and filling, but $ 18 on a salad is extremely steep. Forget about if you ordered the very delicious coco bliss smoothie. This will bring you to a solid $ 30 lunch. The restaurant is always extremely clean and everyone that works there is efficient and helpful, so I guess it’s worth the hefty price tag that goes along with it.

Today I ordered a mental lentil wrap from Choices Organic Café. I tried to order it for delivery but I could not because they only deliver within one mile and I am 1.7 miles away. It’s a real shame, because I’m right down Ponce so I’m not sure why they have such a strict delivery zone. Today’s mental lentil was one of many mental lentils that I’ve had from Choices and every time I think I should start eating one every day. I probably would if they delivered to me. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to order anything else on the menu because I think I may miss out, even though the other food may be just as good. My mental lentil came with a small garden salad. As usual, the meal was tasty, fresh and I felt great eating it knowing that it is healthy for me. I decided to save half of my mental lentil wrap because it is very filling and half really is enough(although sometimes I don’t have the willpower to leave half of it for later). I’m excited to have the rest later and will be ordering from Choices again soon(but not tomorrow because I don’t usually want to drive to pick something up).

Whose New Year’s resolution list does not include eating healthier? I think we can all agree it is hard to find a place where the food is healthy, flavorful and guilt-free. This is a vegan/organic restaurant. It offers a variety of meals that can be served on a wrap, salad or quinoa bowl. It also offers breakfasts, desserts and smoothies. I tried the Mentil Lentil on a quinoa bowl which had black beans, avocado, plantains, quinoa, salsa, spinach and some other greens. It included a sauce that I did not pour onto the dish because I felt it didn’t need it. Overall the food and service were good but a little on the pricier side around $ 17 per bowl.

What a difference from my previous experience at the East Side Choices location. Here we were greeted by an amazing lady who was ready to help and suggest menu items. I’am a fan of the VA’s Insane Mex bowl but allergic to the Walnut Cheese and she kindly suggested I get it with Mayo! hello… That was glorious… Make it to this location… It rocks!

Same great, organic, vegetarian, high-quality food concept now opened in Coral Gables. A good differentiator with the other Choices locations is that they upscaled the decoration and concept. The inside and outside are welcoming to the senses. As always, you will find a well thought variety of options for salad, bowls and wraps. A lacking factor that i have found in every location, is that, regardleds the staff number, the operation runs with a little bit of disorganization, thus the service is kind of slow. This is not something particular of this location but more in general. Overall a great place

Finally last Saturday I was in the area and decided to check out the new Choices. Happy to see another vegan location opened! However, I must say I was disappointed. Let me explain. I arrived at the exact moment they were installing the sign outside, so I chose to sit in the backyard patio. But before that, I ordered something call ‘No soy El Capitan’, over a bowl of quinoa. So far so good. I sat outside. Two tables filled the unappealing area. They must take advantage of this area, and make it more welcoming. The table and chairs were very dirty. I took some napkins and cleaned. Hmmm… Then, 15 minutes later my dish arrived. First impression, great. It looked delicious. But it wasn’t. The coconut«meat» pattie was burned and very dry. It came with chipotly mayo, that did not help because made the combination even drier. I was not a happy camper. My suggestion? Have dressing options, like balsamic or vinaigrette. Not everybody it’s a chipotly mayo fan. And please make sure your chefs doesn’t burn the food. Total bill was $ 17(they add the tip automatically), and I left unsatisfied. I’ll give this Choices a second try, since I totally support vegan businesses. Will see…
