Delicious pizza and reasonably priced. Choosing your own toppings is always a nice option to have. Limited outdoor seating in front. Took off 1 star because sometimes it can get very crowded and loud.

If you like pepperoni pizza, this is the spot. They have good peppers and quality ingredients. A tad spendy. Be ready for coal fired crust(it’s not burnt if the crust is a little dark) definitely try the wings and the meatballs with ricotta(pizza or dish, both good)

Anthonys I try to like you guys but your pizza is just way to greasy. The meatballs were great and I appreciate the great beer specials. Just need to lighten up on the pizza. This was our 2nd time in the Gables location and likely our last. We had a great experience in Doral back in January so I wanted to give you guys another shot. Unfortunately it wasnt worth it. Sorry guys.

I’ve come to this particular location a few times and always have pretty good experiences. My favorite thing about it is the location. Right on the corner of Ponce and Almeria, the walls open up and so you can sit inside but still get some fresh air. There’s also some nice sidewalk seating, a wrap around bar, and lots of tables inside. It’s never too full from what I usually see. As the name suggests, the pizzas are coal fired. My favorites are the roasted cauliflower pizza and meatball pizza. The cauliflower pizza is a white pizza that’s stacked with chunks of cauliflower. It’s super filling so usually a couple of slices and I’m good. The crust is thin, sometimes purposefully burnt on the edges, but crispy and delicious. I really enjoy Anthony’s meatballs so if you don’t get it on a pizza, would recommend trying it as an appetizer. Finally, they are known for their coal oven roasted chicken wings. I’m not a big chicken wing person, but these are pretty good, as is the focaccia they’re served with. Service is never really anything to write home about but the food always comes out fast. They have happy hour throughout the week that lasts until 8:00 pm. I think they have food specials but you have to sit at the bar to take advantage of those. On Wednesdays, they bring in live music which enhances the atmosphere too! Takeout is easy if you’d rather do that and enjoy your pizza at home. Overall, a decent option for some ‘za in the Gables!

I come for their meatballs with ricotta and flat bread. Their wings are coal fired as well, and their pizzas have just the rigjt amount of condiments. Their house salad is a must as a starter. The service was all over the place, or table had about 4 different servers. …

The place is dead for a reason. The bartenders are very distant. They got our order wrong. We took it because we were hungry and short on time. Nothing was really made right. Just really disappointed. So many other options in this area.

Anthony’s is in my humble opinion the best pizza in the world, bar none. I never miss the oportunity to go there at least once when I visit Miami, maybe more if I can. I usually go to the Aventura location, but my brother wanted to go to the Coral Gables one, which is closer. The ambience of Aventura is dark and sports-bar like, the one in Coral Gables has much more light and is very beautiful. You really have to like thin crust pizza to enjoy this place. I love coal heated pizza, and the ingredientes here are top notch, up to the coal itself. The pizza is crunchy, well done, sauce is amazing, I can’t stop saying good things about it. They have about 10 brands of draft beer, which includes sam adams and blue moon, two of my favorites. In short, I love this place, go(if you like thin pizza) and have the most amazing pizza in the world.

Bland pizza. The focaccia bread was over cooked and served cold. The salad was exactly like that Family Guy bit about salads from pizza restaurants . It was a whole head of lettuce and a can of garbanzo beans. The beer selection was good, but the waiter snatched my glass when I had one ounce left. The location is nice, but very loud.

To start off with, I could eat pizza every day for every single meal. Anthony’s has some good pizza, however the crust is thinner then I typically like. With the crust being thinner, some parts of the pizza tasted slightly burnt. I went for the good old fashioned cheese pizza(lunch portion menu) and I ate the whole pie, which leads me to believe that it was a small pie. The food takes a good while to come out, even if you are in a small party. It also appears that some of the employees are not too familiar with the drink menu which was a little disappointing. But in my opinion, pizza is simple enough that you can never go wrong with it!

An average place Not the best pizza as they brag so much about Their prices are fair Their service is good Their pizza is ok, nothing out of this world Is better than d’Giorno, but worse than pizza hut Parking is accessible in the streets around The décor has lots of TVs looks like an hybrid between a North American sport bar wanting to look like a fine dining pizza venue. If you are looking to hangout w your buddies to watch a game and have some drinks… Will be perfect. If you are looking to have a good family time experiencing a great PIZZA. Ahhh! Not here.

The food and service was amazing. I was really impressed with how fast and attentive our waiter was. The food taste delicious. So much flavor and I recommend the meatballs. Management also came by our table to check how our service and experience was. I really feel at home here. I recommend if you are in the mood for delicious food and great service.

Pregnant bartender. Really? She acts like I was doing her a favor being there. Never came to check on me. She say over by a couple that would talk to her about pregnancy. Any who, ribs were tasty. Spicy. Jalapeño vinegar marinade

Simple casual pizza spot. The food was pretty good. Had the Cauliflower Pizza which was pretty good except they chef forgot to add the cloves of garlic this time. Food was good but service… meh. It was snail slow which is always hard to understand on a slow night. Maybe I’ll take the food to go next time

I have been coming here for years. I used to live 2 blocks away and would come in here for drinks at the bar and a small pie at least twice a week. I moved and haven’t been back very often but this place has really gone downhill!!! Today I was here with my girlfriend and we ordered a small salad, 10pc wings and small meatball and ricotta pie. Salad was fine — nothing to write home about. Pie was good as it always is. The problem was the wings. We ate a couple and realized they were dry. And I mean DRY — usually they are covered in grilled onions and juicy and delicious. Not today. So when the waitress brought the pie we asked her to take away the remaining wings because they were dry. She apologized and asked if she could replace them with a new batch. We said«yes, but you didn’t have to» «it’s not a problem if they weren’t good we will make it right» was the reply. She brought the wings, we were already done withthe pie and asked forthe rest to be boxed up. When we got home to re package our takeaway items for the fridge, it came to our attention that the restaurant only gave us 5 wings! We were under the assumption that when you say we will replace the order, we would receive a full order of 10 wings not the 5 to replace the 5 disgusting ones were taken away. Just really poor management. Either replace or take the item off the menu, or tell us you won’t replace them. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Finally, I had a decent experience at an Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza! I’d previously been to the Anthony’s in Brickell and also to the Anthony’s that used to be located on Giralda Ave. in the Gables. Both have since closed. I remember reviewing both of those Anthony’s locations and being really frustrated with them. The pizzas and the food was always good, but the service was generally poor at both, and the food used to take forever to be delivered at both those locations. I came here to this location a few weeks ago with a friend, was expecting the worst and in the end was pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were just as good as I remember them, but at this location our server was pretty much spot on, even joking back and forth with us a few times, and our food was delivered to us in an acceptable amount of time. One thing I misjudged here was the size of our stomachs; Since there were 2 of us sharing a pie, I figured the 12″ wouldn’t provide enough food and so we went for the 16″ on my recommendation. In the end, we had a few slices left over — the 12″ would’ve been fine for two in hindsight.

Honestly this is the best pizza in Miami! I’ve been to a looooooot of pizza places. This is hands down my favorite! We usually start off with the focaccia which is spectacular.(Make sure to order it with garlic) The chicken wings are delicious as well! So perfectly seasoned. The pizza its great, I love the fact that is «well done» and sometimes even a little burnt on the edges. I love the tomato sauce they use on the pizza. Sometimes we order half arugula/prosciutto half cheese. The prosciutto isn’t the best I’ve ever had and they put a whole bunch of arugula. But for some reason, today was a little different. The focaccia tastes different, the chicken wings didn’t taste as good as other times and the pizza either! I was so sad :(I think that they changed the pizza dough it something. I’m just going to think that I came on a bad day and comfort myself lol I really hope it didn’t change and that the person who’s making the pizza today isn’t as good as others. Other than that, Every other time we’ve come it’s been fantastic including the service. Something I like, is that even of they close at 10 for example you can walk in at 9:51 and they will still sit you. Some places tell you their kitchen is closed. So that’s great! I love that we can always come last minute and still be able to eat. Oh and I looove the music they play. All oldies :)
