IHOP

Went with my family last Sunday, by far the worst quality of food. My daughters plate looked like it had been eaten before, my husbands French toast were made with regular bread not the usual French toast bread they use… The crepes tasted horrible. Nothing looked at all not even remotely to the pics on the menu. Worst food ever! I was so mad didn’t want to pay…

I went every Tuesday night for a month to pass time and wait for my son to finish a class. Why the restaurant was generally empty most nights, the staff was friendly and attentive, the Wi-​Fi was strong and free and the pancakes were excellent. My new favorite is the peach and raspberry topped. The fruit on top makes it so great that it doesn’t need syrup! It’s a great place if you need study because it’s quiet and as long as you’re drinking coffee or eating something they leave you alone. I would stay for 4 hour stretches and not be bothered unless they were asking me for a refill or if there was anything else that I wanted to eat. It’s definitely a nice alternative to the super packed Starbucks down the street!

Horrible. I have been meaning to write a review of this IHOP location for awhile now… I usually go there for breakfast because of the convenience of the location. However, in recent times, the food has become nothing short of DISGUSTING. It is nasty. Am not sure who is cooking in that kitchen, but doesn’t the health inspector ever go by? They advertise avocados in their various sandwiches etc, yet the avocados are ALWAYS black and spoilt! If that isn’t bad enough, they try to hide the avocados in the food, so you can’t see how spoilt they are! The omelettes are dry and tasteless, and the veggies are usually raw (ate at Wagon’s West recently, and was reminded what an omelette is supposed to taste like). The service used to be ok, but then the best server Nico left (or was fired, not sure which)…the rest of the servers are just as bad as the chef. Surprisingly there is usually a manager on site, so not sure what he is actually doing.
I went by tonight for a quick bite (again convenience of location), and after waiting to see ANY a employee on the floor, I seated myself. Finally a waiter showed up. I asked for the menus, and he was clearly irritated. He handed them to me, at which point I told him I was ready to order. He said ok, walked off, and never returned. Eventually I left. THAT is the service of this IHOP location. To be fair, he seemed to be the only waiter and there were about 4 tables. Why can’t the place hire more help? And he could have had better customer service!
Tomorrow I am putting in an official complaint of this IHOP location!

Was in the mood for a fulfilling breakfast because I’m having a very light lunch today. What better place to come for this but IHOP. I was seated right away and ordered coffee as I waited for my bestie Kelly G. to come through. I was given 2 menu’s, the regular menu and a holiday menu. I was so excited to see pumpkin spice waffles so I knew what I was ordering right away. The coffee although not the best, was hot and decent enough to drink. My breakfast came and I was pleased somewhat. My complaints are the chicken (I ordered the chicken and pumpkin spice waffles) was a little too greasy and the waffles were cold, letting me know they were sitting up there for a little. Needless to say our waitor, Emilio, was very nice. So although this IHOP has a good menu, I’ll choose to skip out on the grease and cold waffles.

Below average experience here.
Very unhospitable manager. No hello, greeting, anything. Big negative… you can tell this guy hates his job.
Average quality with everything; however, the pancakes were good.
After this experience, I probably won’t be rushing back to IHOP anytime soon.

Waited in line for over an hour, manager never showed up for work and they were so understaffed they hid in the kitchen to avoid the mob of people waiting to eat. This place is a garbage can don’t come here. Management, hire a new staff I know kids that can do a better a job at running an establishment. NO STARS

I come here all the time for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is always great. I order the sirloin tips for breakfast and dinner. Always have awesome food. Mozerella sticks are fantastic. I love this iHop. I go at least two to three times a week. I usually have the same waitress, Patricia, and she is awesome. Most of the time she already knows my order.

Great food, great service. Only thing is some customers yell. but it’s great. I always get the pick a pancake combo. Much better than dennys

In my neighborhood, it’s the most conveniently located breakfast spot. It’s a good alternative if you like breakfast for dinner. Always good!

I like this location the best. Service is great, waiters are nice and even the other waiters attend to you as well! Our plates came out and one of them accidentally dipped into the gravy from my boyfriends country steak and she quickly offered to switch out the meal but we were hungry so we let it be. Breakfast was very delicious and place is very clean so I’ll definitely be coming back to this location.

This had to have been one of the worst dinning experiences I had ever had!!! Management is clueless on how things should be run every waiter is around 18 with an attitude problem, food took forever to come out. You really get what you pay for, I am never going to this IHOP again, thank god for the one waitress who was not scheduled to work who found us waiting to place an order after 15 min of sitting at our table without any sign of life from the staff.
Save yourself the time and grief go eat anywhere else. I wish I had a zero star option.

Horrible experience! Went in for Sunday breakfast and we didn’t even get greeted at our table. Our waitress Lucy, was extremely rude, and even laughed when I asked a question about the plate. Once our food came out she never came back to serve us. I left hardly eating my food since I never got butter for my bread and was missing part of my order. Will never return here.

This location Smells moldy… stinks, and has signs of water damage and mold. Service is not that great either. .there are Better choices out there… the IHOP on Bird Rd is much better.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, smelly, stinks, disgusting, NEVER WILL GO AGAIN. TRY Wagons West on the next plaza down.

Not to say that the last time I went it was 2011, I usually don’t eat there. Well I have 2 kids and I have to give in sometimes plus I saw a commercial and the pancake are good. BUT when they charge you $ 7.29 for 1 waffle, that is crazy! And if that is the price for an extra plain waffle they should let you know maybe out of courtesy. Not nice IHOP south Miami. I think is going to pass some time before I go pack to one of these places ever again.

My friend came with his kids and was given someone else’s left over pancakes. Beware of what you eat. Took a copy of what He wrote on the receipt

I think I may have been in one I-​hop, up north, that was bigger. Ihops lately are entirely very small, I am not sure why. This made my experience, A-​Ok.
The wait was not long, going on a Saturday morning, and our Waitress was pleasant, like she had a grandmother feeling to her. She was attentive, quick and caring.

Had such a great experience tonight! Although Unilocal says they’re closed right now, they are actually open 24 hours!!!
The waiter was so nice even at 1 AM. Very accommodating and friendly. I really appreciated that. Not that many people would be that nice at that time of night.
Food was absolutely delicious too. The linden-​berry crepes with scrambled eggs, hash browns, cheese grits, ham, hollandaise sauce, and chocolate milk were all delicious!
The restaurant was also very clean and that’s one thing I’m very particular about when going to these chain restaurants.
