Awesome late night spot to grab a cocktail and sing your heart out during karaōke! Went on a Saturday night and the ambience was great. Small but cozy and fun crowd for karaōke. I’ll definitely come back, more so, it’s close to home! Winning!

Small, neighborhood bar. Looking for a quiet place close to home to have a drink and Jada Coles delivered. Giving it 4 stars because of the friendly owner and awesome drink specials. Sunday’s Ladies night was $ 5 anything which is an awesome deal.

I came here really wanting to love this place, especially after reading all the 4 and 5 star reviews and knowing how much I enjoy a good dive bar. Though I thought it was shade better than A-OK as 3 stars on Unilocal denotes, it wasn’t such a great experience that I’ll be rushing back here anytime soon. I stopped in on a Friday night at around 10:30, I entered the front patio area which is basically a large, covered, open space with a pool table and some seating. As Kevin C. stated in his review, if I hadn’t known there was a proper bar inside this building from the photos I’d seen on Unilocal,I may have simply left at that point. I walked to the back of the patio and into the bar proper and initially liked what I saw; A smallish, divey feeling bar with some damaged and dirty floor tiles, a long, fully stocked L-shaped bar to the left with some cigarette burns and damaged areas on the top of it, a group of people huddled around a few tables in a corner to the right, and in the back, live music provided by a cellist, bass player and some pre-recorded audio sequences. There are also a few TVs behind the bar for watching sports. Maybe I came here on an off night, but neither the bartenders or the patrons were particularly friendly(though the little black dog running around the place that belongs to one of the bartenders was cool), and a few of the patrons simply seemed like dirty asses vs. the beloved«characters» that one normally finds in most any good dive bar. Domestic drafts(Yuenling, not craft beers) were $ 6, more expensive than Hooters and Ale House down the street. The other thing that struck me about this place is that it’s relatively small. When I came here, there were ½ dozen people on the patio smoking or playing pool, about the same amount at the bar(that’s about all the bar stool seating they have), and another 8 or 10 people in the corner seated at the tables having a private party. That was it, that was pretty much the capacity of the place; it almost feels a bit too small to be lively and fun most nights. It should be noted that Jada Coles doesn’t serve food, but while I was here, a few customers did order pizza and other food via delivery and the bar staff furnished them with plates and napkins.

Great place for a late drink. Chill place, to just drink and hang out. Good craft beer selection, fully and well stocked bar. Beware karaōke night, the people here can actually sing.

We went in this pub cause we saw in Unilocal that seems a good pub. Actually it is, the ambient were great, the music live too! we drunk beers, till this moment all good but at a certain point we ordered another beer and the barista put the beer in our seats that was in the counter, we said«we just going out to smoke a cigarette and we’ll coming back to drink it»(the barista has our credit card cause we leave open cheque). When we coming back our seats was busy from another people and the place is not big so we was obligated to seats in a last seats, the worst one. We went angry and that thing ruin our night and we go away for that. So recap, the place is nice, the live that they usually do were nice too but they have to learn how what mean do a barista and what mean treat with guests(we are bartenders in italy so we think that we have some to say).

I’m sure the guys here are the bartenders bartender. Great staff, great atmosphere. great neighborhood bar open late with out the stereotypical craziness that comes with most dives. Tuesday nights are great for those who like open mic. all in all drinks are priced right and the staff is awesome, what more do you want

Stopped in last Wednesday for a drink. Great prices. Great staff. «Red» was the bartender and a great one. I drink like a fish, it’s an Irish thing, and I never had to worry that I’d have to suffer the look of an empty glass. She was on her game and this place was pretty cool, chill and relaxed. Kind of crowd where you can converse with everyone sitting at the bar. Not the usually yuppie Miami crowd of Miami beach or Brickell. Will surely attend again.

Jada Coles is my favorite bar in Miami. Trust me, I’ve been to almost all of the competition but I keep coming back here. The bartenders and staff are all attentive and nice. The patrons are always very friendly and the ambiance is great for whatever you’re in the mood for. This bar has a large outdoor patio area with a pool table and projection TV tuned to local sports. The interior of the bar is cozy, dark, and welcoming. You’d feel equally at home here on a date, watching a Heat game, watching a band play, or just chilling with a few buddies. On Monday nights they have karaōke and it draws a decent crowd. This time of year this place is a real hidden gem to watch Heat games if you feel like going out to catch the games. There’s no obnoxious DJ competing with the game, drinks are reasonably priced, and the crowd will be into the game. You’re likely assured a seat at the bar and you don’t have to worry about a crazy environment detracting from what you’re trying to watch.

This isn’t a faux dive, this is a dive! I always love using that Simpsons line. Despite the previous comment, this is a faux dive. Outside there’s a pool table and a few tables/chairs. It was unclear there was even any other part of the bar. In fact, if I didn’t know that my friend’s band was playing inside, I would have simply walked away. I saw a door with plywood over it and hesitantly peaked inside, expecting to see a guy with a chainsaw pop out. Surprisingly, none came out. Inside, there was a full bar with a low ceiling and a decent amount of high tables and a couch in the corner. My friend’s band was set up in the corner. It is a nice place to listen to live music and has a decent vibe for a date. The bartenders were friendly as were the clientele.

Stopped in on a Monday night to celebrate a birthday. I had been to Jada Coles before they changed locations and hadn’t thought I would return. The new location is a lot nicer than the last. It’s dark and cozy and very chill. I’ll be coming back with friends very soon. It might even become my regular spot.

Jada Coles has reopened! And finally, it’s great. Next to Portobello on Coral Way. Great live music spot. Good beer. Full bar. Sweet courtyard. Check it out. Better late.
