Not impressed. To me this is fake healthy food. All their juices had a lot of fruit in them, which means a LOT of sugar. There is just as much sugar in fruit juice as there is in soda, and sometimes more. Sugar is sugar is sugar. Fruits contain simple sugars, especially fructose and sucrose. Their bowls had yellow rice and gave no other option? I had asked about this while ordering wasn’t given any other suggestions. A creamy aioli(mayonnaise) sauce is also on top of their bowls? Yuck no thank you. Very few true vegan/vegetarian options(like how is something vegetarian when it’s being topped off with mayo). I do eat fish sometimes but their seasonings didn’t sound healthy either. I had asked the person working the front register about these«healthier» options and ingredients, so I have written the review based on my experience and feedback while at Jark + Fork. The atmosphere was loud and humid due to their open front. This also allowed for all the dirt to come in from outside with cigarette smoke, while you’re trying to enjoy your meal indoors. Kind of gross since I didn’t see anyone wiping down their tables and all their cups and utensils are out and self serve. I feel like this is very unsanitary due to their open front in dirty down town Miami. I tried to order delivery once too, trying to give it another shot. Still was not impressed and the delivery was 35 minutes late past their promised arrival time. Not impressive or good service. I guess I have just been spoiled by growing up in Portland Oregon. My expectations from these«healthy» spots are just much higher. — Why is there now information about the things I was trying to inquire about only now, and not when I was spending money the two times I tried to eat here. Now that I’m expressing my negative experience for others to read, there’s something to be said. No apologies for the unhelpful service or terrible delivery. Instead you just tried to have my negative review removed… In my review I did not state that there was smoking inside. I was commenting on how it’s an open area so smoke and dirt from outside can come in while you’re trying to enjoy your food. Oh and there’s lemon in that«green glow» juice. Lemon is still a fruit right? There’s not much sugar in them but it’s still a fruit.

Outstanding service, I tried the chicken pesto sandwich which was amazing! You can definitely tell that their food is made from scratch, all their ingredients are so fresh and all the sandwiches come with a cookie, who doesn’t love a cookie! The staff is awesome and well rounded, they really know how to help you, and try to make your experience one you won’t forget! They also make their own cold pressed juices, I had the karma which was watermelon and basil, it was so fresh and refreshing! You can tell the owners take pride in their business and try their best to meet the customers needs. Looks like I found my new favorite spot!

I love coming here almost on a daily basis, love the vegetable soups, love Ahi tuna and wild Salmon paleo meals that come with freshly prepared vegetable side choices. Everything is so creative and well put, from food to beverages to interior. It’s a kind of a place that you wanna go to every day, because you feel like you know exactly what you are eating, it’s very nutritious, exactly what you wish you could prepare yourself everyday but you just don’t have time for it. The only thing that I would like to see improve is their customer service, in general. I won’t be taking any points off since everything else is just remarkable, unique and overall amazing. Try their fresh juice called Karma it’s watermelon and basil it’s super refreshing and tasty.

***Update. Yes, the last time I tried to fix my order, nobody answered phone for over 20 minutes. And, EAT24 still says they dont deliver to Brickell and wont let me place an order, even though I’ve ordered delivery several times already just by calling them directly. Today, though, I placed an order by phone and I’m happy to say the response was quick. Also the lady helping me could not have been sweeter and nicer to deal with, walking us through the soups, specials and desserts(which would greatly help if was uploaded online daily). Given that the food is great every time I’ve ordered, and they may just be experiencing growing pains, I’m updating with a score that reflects the food more accurately. Some mentioned it’s «fake healthy». That isnt a fair assessment, just because they dont prepare specifically Vegan/Veggie options that you want. This place is also constantly packed when I’ve gone in person, an indication that the food/prices are good and people are happy overall.

Went another time to jar and fork today and what can I say? This place has a great soul and a nice rustic clean design. Today i got the shrimps and one the side I got the cauliflower/brusselsprouts and the spinach. I can’t say anything else than the food was awesome. It’s so simple but so well executed + it’s actually heathy and for me personally it’s difficult to describe healthy food as ‘tasty’. After my dish I got a juice and I got the chocolate cake… WHAT A BOMB! That chocolate cake is just insane. I can also highly recommend to do a detox cure with them. I have done 2 times a 7 day cleansing with them and for me it’s the best in Miami. Their manager Juliane guides you personally and has a huge amount of knowledge about cold pressed juices. I rate this place ver high and would recommend it to anybody!!!

I’ve had this place book marked for quite a while and today I finally made the trip for lunch. Please keep in mind that finding parking in downtown Miami is a mission and expensive. With that said, be prepared to wait in line for at least 20 minutes because this place gets PACKED! This was a good sign that the food was tasty but inconvenient if you are in a hurry. My coworker and I each ordered the steak rice bowl which took about 20 minutes to receive. It was extremely difficult finding a table and it was akward having to «stalk» people to grab a seat. This actually put me off because lunch is a time to relax and enjoy your meal not wonder if you will be able to actually sit and eat or have to take it to go. The food in itself was good, not great but definitely filling. If I come back, I will order beforehand and just take it back to my office OR come when the crowd dies down.

Love, love, love!!! Great Vegan and Paleo options. In the heart of downtown Miami. Would not have stumbled in if my friend had not told me about it, simply because I am not around that area too often — had I seen it passing by, I would have definitely stepped in at least to look. Very welcoming atmosphere; cute rustic design. Wooden tables garnish the inside and the outside seating area… Mason jars for self served water glasses and even mini versions for salt and pepper shakers. Awesome details put into this place! They make their own cold pressed juices & have a whole chalk board of options. I went w the Super Juice, which has pineapple, kale, ginger, green apple, and celery — yum. They all come in glass containers that according to my friend, if you reuse them, you get a discount. $ 8 for a cold pressed juice? Count me in. I had the potato and leek soup to start — a little lacking in flavor, even though it had an interesting coconut element going on… My meal was saved by the entrée — the paleo inspired wild caught salmon w a lemon and miso sauce. I chose their Brussels and cauli and sautéed spinach sides to go along with my fish. Their Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked w red onion and soy stir fried. So amazing, almost as amazing as the salmon itself. The sautéed spinach with garlic was also very good. Over all, had an amazing experience — will definitely be coming back and bringing my friends of all eating paths. And all for less than $ 30? Pinch me out of this dream!

Do you like fresh greens, clean and healthy food that taste great; don’t mind parking at Pay By Phone and walking a little then you will love this place. I had the salmon that comes with two sides. Of all the choices three of the salads were within view. This made the selection easier. I chose the Power Green Salad which was delicious. The second side was a blend of Brussels sprouts and cauliflower. If you’re not a fan of Brussels sprouts try them here and you may change your mind. The service was friendly and though one orders at the counter and then your food is delivered to your table the servers were attentive and very neat and trendy looking. The place is earthy looking, wood tables, water in mason jars, etc., lots of choices for fresh pressed juice. There were no lines when we got there at 12:00 pm sharp but few minutes later, boy did that change. I felt bad, though we were not quite ready to leave, I gave up my table to arriving patrons so that they could enjoy there meal. I guess that’s a sign that food is good. We paid a little over $ 30 for two meals no drinks not terrible considering it was all scratch food, but factor in $ 7.00 for two hour parking. I used the lot in front of bayside parking. It was my first time, perhaps there is a more cost effective parking but there was heavy traffic and with one way traffic on many streets looking for a spot was no fun. The walk was not bad given the sunny windy day we had. Would I come again, yes. Would I hesitate regarding parking most definitely. Most patrons may have been from local business areas. I Saw lots of ties and business attire dresses and heels.

Just went here for lunch after the last fiasco/visit here. The table was sticky and I had to put a napkin in the table to avoid getting it on me. My husband ordered the seared tuna with asparagus and a mix of Brussels and cauliflower that was absolutely delicious. I have the shrimp rice bowl and although it was very pretty I was disappointed that it was bland. Our waiter and order taker were very attentive and friendly however. I loved that they had complimentary alkaline water. The pretty sunflower arrangement on the table was also a very nice touch! Hopefully I will have better luck with my food selection next time. My husband couldn’t stop raving about his food and although I don’t eat raw tuna I did try his veggies and they really were very good!

Love this place! Such a healthy and fantastic menu and quick service too! Came here twice in one day — because that’s how good it is! I tried their wild salmon with lemon miso glaze, baked sweet potato, and sautéed spinach. The salmon was grilled to perfection — not dry at all. I also tried their delicious super juice, which has pineapple, green apple, kale, ginger, and celery. When I came back with a friend, I tried their signature almond mylk and raw cookie dough. Both of those were extremely dense, and will fill you up! The almond mylk was ridiculously smooth and rich. The ambience here is cheerful and bright! Definitely will come by the next time I’m in Miami!

Stopped by Jar + Fork after returning from a cruise and was in desperate need of detox — this place was great! The storefront is open and friendly. I ordered the«Green Glow», a juice made with kale, spinach, parsley, cucumber, lemon, and ginger, and loved that it was served in a glass milk jug. Bring it back and get $ 0.50 off your next juice! The juice was earthy and a little sweet, but was fresh and rejuvenating. Exactly what I needed! I was really disappointed that I wasn’t hungry, because the food looked incredible. I’m heading back to Miami in May and I’m looking forward to stopping by during my visit.

Jar + Fork is a great place for lunch in busy downtown Miami. There are lots of offices nearby so it’s great to meet your coworkers and friends here. The food here is always fresh. I have gotten both the salmon and the seared tuna and they were both great. All of their sides are good too which makes it hard to pick. If you are looking to eat healthy they have lots of options to choose from. They also have infused water which they change the flavor of daily.

If you work in the downtown Miami area, JarFork(as we call it in the office) is the perfect lunch spot, especially if you’re looking for something on the healthier side without sacrificing taste. We’re usually so busy that we don’t take long lunch breaks and Jar + Fork makes it super easy to grab takeout. Their online ordering system is top notch and actually tells you at what time your food will be ready. I’ll be completely honest. I’ve only ever actually had one item off of the menu because it’s so good I can’t bring myself to order anything else. The arroz con pollo(rice w/chicken) bowl is out of control! The brown rice, chicken and avocado combo is a knock out and is good every single time. The chicken is always cooked right and the avocado adds a nice creamy texture to the rice that makes it a little bit different from everywhere else. Maybe one day I’ll actually bring myself to try the rest of the menu which I’m sure is just as good and tasty!

Love love love this place! They have seats indoors and outdoors, and it’s self service– order at the front, they bring the food to you and take your plates, but you grab your own utensils and water. They have tons of cold pressed juices to choose from, I got a green juice that had pineapple and apple for some added sweetness. There’s two ways to order, get a platter with protein(salmon, chicken, etc.) with sides(Brussels sprouts, quinoa, etc.) or a bowl protein on top of brown rice. I got the salmon platter and the portion size was huge and I loved the miso sauce on top. Had the Brussels sprouts(yum) and quinoa as my sides– yum!!! Definitely planning on going back!

This is my favorite downtown lunch spot. It’s pretty cheap considering you are getting good healthy food, its quick, efficient and always clean. I recently got breakfast delivered from here also. They make a really good guac toast with a fried egg on top. The egg could have been cooked better, or even poached, but nonetheless, it was very good. The first time I came, I ordered the highly recommended shrimp sandwich, which I found to be bland. Good thing I gave this place another try. On my second visit, I got the chicken with rice plate… SOGOOD. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but it came with some fresh veggies and a delicious sauce. They also make and bottle their own delicious juices. I always get the cleanse. This is made with pear, basil, kale, and a bunch of other stuff. You likely won’t finish it at lunch and then you have this great healthy snack for 4PM at the office. Great place. definitely check it out.

I’m going to give this spot five stars because it exceeded my healthy food expectations! What sucks? Parking. If you don’t work or live in Downtown Miami and venture only to try Jar + Fork, you might be in for a bit of a struggle. Accept that beforehand if you want to have a pleasant experience. While waiting in line, I stared up at the handwritten board of specials and everything sounded amazing. Then, I turned to the counter and my wide eyes upon seeing the delicious looking salads gave my naiveness away. The friendly staff quickly explained how everything worked. I landed on a paleo plate with shrimp, stir fry brussels and cauliflower, and one of their daily salads. I was so excited to hear I could pick a daily soup or salad as one of my two paleo plate sides. It gave me something to snack on while waiting for the cooked food to be prepared! There is lots of seating both inside and outside. It’s necessary because this place gets packed at lunchtime. The price is pretty reasonable for a healthy meal, at about $ 15 for a filling plate. Can’t wait to go back soon! Next time, I’ll be cruising in on the MetroMover.
