First time here on a a business trip and we saw how many reviews the place has so we decided to give it a shot. It is a small establishment but with its little charm to it. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. Very energetic when it came to the menu. We went with their recommendation for gator bites and frita burger. The gator bites was an interesting plate, well season and not over cooked. It was a real good plate and can see me having it again. The frita burger(The frita takes a beef patty, guava jelly, Gruyère, bacon, and potato sticks) was highly recommend by two different staff members(they claimed that it was best burger in town) but I was a little hesitant about the guava thinking that it might be a bit overwhelming. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t, it was a good balance with the ground beef and bacon and it was a nice interpretation of a burger. But that’s where the 3 stars come in. The beef was okay, the burger was hyped up so much but it didn’t lived up to the hype. It was an okay burger and the twist of the guava made the burger interesting enough to try it but it wouldn’t be something i would that you would have to come back for.

Another great burger stop, this one! It’s incredibly over priced but I would expect no less from a Miami based burger place. It’s slightly ironic bc it’s in the worst area of Wynwood which can oftentimes pass for«urban» and be as terribly sketchy as it pleases while still being an expensive area. Despite the prices and area, you can count on KUSH for being delicious. I absolutely loved the burger and sweet potato fries. The service was pretty quick despite it being packed and the parking is reasonably close(street parking). I would definitely come here again and bring a friend! Food photographs nicely as well, which I think is a great factor haha

tl;dr Small, homey joint with a HUGE/UNIQUE craft beer selection(blueberry buckle flavored?!) &AWESOMEBURGERS. 10 out of 10 Carols would go eat here again(and bring all of her visiting friends)!! Fried Pickle & Pork Sausage Appetizer with Spicy Slaw(7.5÷10): This was my first time trying fried pickles and they were delish! Imagine the sour, tart crunch of a cold pickle with 200% more crunch added to it and that’s what you get. Sadly, the sausages were a bit mediocre and the toasted bread was so hard that they were inedible. The slaw was very flavorful and wonderfully pickled. It had a slight kick to it from the spice(which I personally liked). This is worth it if you’ve just ever wondered what fried pickles taste like and like meat of any kind. Next time, I will probably get a different appetizer. Frita Burger w/Mixed Fries(9.5÷10): Almost burger perfection! I’m tempted to start putting guava jelly on all of my burgers now. It added the perfect hint of sweetness to mix with the savory juices of the burger & smokey bacon. WOULDRECOMMEND! Side Note on the Fries(9⁄10 Sweet Potato ones, 7⁄10 Reg Potato ones): It was a nice touch that you can mix & match the fries so you can have both regular AND sweet potato fries. Personally, I would recommend going with the sweet potato fries. I was a bit sugar-ed out from just going to The Salty Donut so I was afraid the sweet potato fries would be too much for me to handle, but boy was I wrong! They were very pleasantly savory with just hints of sweetness. The regular fries were not as flavorful. Farm Style Chicken Sandwich w/Asparagus(9⁄10): I can’t say much about this one since my friend got it, but she told me that it was one of the best darn chicken-wiches she’s ever had. Well-played Kush… well-played… Only downside was that the asparagus appetizer was very tiny(see picture). I guess that’s what we get for trying to be healthy… nothing healthier than just simply eating less xD Appetizer Note: Get the Sweet Potato Fries or the Spicy Slaw! Service: Very nice and friendly waitress. She was always popping by and checking in on us and very amenable to giving menu suggestions. Unfortunately, my friend and I were unable to try any of their craft beer selection since the day was still young and both of us light up like rudolph’s nose after any amount of alcohol :( Overall, Great Place. Great Vibes. Great Burgers. Great Beer. What more could you want?

Kush is my absolute favorite burger spot. If there’s a better burger out there, I haven’t found it yet. Everyone one of their burgers are fantastic and always cooked amazing. You MUST try the frita burger — guava on a burger originally freaked me out but the taste is out of this world. The alligator fritters were also divine. They have the largest selection of craft beers I’ve seen in South Florida, and every one of the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable about their beers. The service in general is also great. There’s not much seating so there’s always a bit of a wait, but they have a separate holding area with board games and beer that you could hang out in while waiting for your table — very cool.

Awesome! The spot for craft beer lovers and people who love fresh, high quality, fair priced food. Sonny was super nice there, and also our waiter Roberto. The frita is good with guava, but sweet. The Johnny Utah burger was excellent too. Great selection of beer, cool atmosphere. Good spot!!! PS Get the hobo frito pie appetizer! Quick and easy! Light bite to pair with beer!

stop whatever u are doing and stop at Kush(call ahead tho… They are always packed). So here is the breakdown: –kush hush burger was amazing. I think u get waffles instead of buns –la frita burger was even better. The taste was out of this world. — fries were ok… But the sweet potato fries were on point. –the waiting room is maybe the best part of waiting for a table. Check it out –call ahead or expect to wait at least 40 min for a table. –craftbeer selection was impressive. –parking area is ok… But this is Miami, parking is always an issue.

I am glad we stopped into Kush the other day for an early dinner. The food was phenomenal. The bartender suggested the alligator bites as an appetizer and they were great! My boyfriend keeps saying that the Frita burger was the best burger he’s ever had. The bartender was super friendly and had really great beer recommendations(though to be fair, he was working with a pretty great set of beer options). The space itself is small, but used well and comfortable. This was a nice break from all the pretentiousness of South Beach.

Food was amazing but outdoor seating semi ruined my experience. Do not sit outside, there are flies and it’s too close to the road. The food was worth it though. I had the chicken and waffles which was amazing. I loved how juicy the chicken was and that the waffles weren’t too crunchy. They also have a good selection of drinks. Their sandwiches also looked really good. I would definitely return but will rather wait longer for indoor table.

Stuffed! Seven of us went here for lunch today. We ordered the guacamole, the Florida Alligator bites, the Lokal burger, the Frita burger, the Kush & Hash burger, the meatball burger, fries, sweet potato fries, grilled asparagus. The appetizers came out quickly but the burgers took a while. The Frita burger was good but it had a little bit too much guava. I asked for medium well but the burger was medium or medium rare. Large groups are required to sit outside. The two outside tables are very close to a very busy street with a Solid Waste transfer station directly across the street. It’s very dusty and the exhaust from the buses is not pleasant. Don’t go in large groups. If someone heading east on NE20th Street, turns left onto N. Miami Avenue and takes the turn too wide, they could run right into you. Scary! Even though people were waiting for our table, it took a while to get the check. They can only split one check 5 ways so beware!

This was my second attempt to eat here and we lucked out with the rain and it wasn’t super busy. We went on a Tuesday night at 8pm and had a 15 minute wait for three people. in the past I was quoted 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the front window counter and had stools for seats. It is a small place! We shared three dishes: sausage with fried pickles: sausage is made locally and had great flavor. It was not fatty. The fried pickles had three times the amount of batter as the size of the sliced pickle. Chicken and waffles: waffles had a great flavor and were topped with chopped bacon. The bacon didn’t have much flavor. The chicken was a thick breast and had a good crispy batter on it. It is served with maple syrup. Burger: We had the award nominated burger with cheese and pastrami on it. It was good and was served with fries. Service was good. They charge $ 1/table for water. They say it is purified water. There is metered street parking. There are two tables outside. There is a bar that seats about 10 people. Overall, the food was good but it is not worth waiting more than 15 minutes for!!!

This review is about their vegetarian burger. omg it’s delicious and you should definitely get it even if you’re a meateater because it’s AMAZING. Kush is known for all of its burger options, but the vegetarian option should not be forgotten as the tree-hugging less cute sibling in comparison to its beefy voluptuous counterparts. So yeah, try the Frank’s black bean burger. Currently I’m shaking my fists at the sky with my newly developed black bean allergy. This burger is why I question my fate.

Kush is a great spot for burgers! It’s a small location with seating inside and two outdoor tables. We arrived last night around 8:30 with a party of six and had to wait a little over an hour to get seated. For a bar like spot, it’s managed as a restaurant where even the bar is on the waitlist. You can come as a large group, but be prepared to wait. If you are four or less, there are more seating available inside. I had the frita burger with 50⁄50 sweet and regular fries. It was amazing! Great mix of salty and sweet. I really enjoyed the guava flavor mix with the candy like bacon! Delish! My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles with the bacon bits syrup! If you like breakfast foods and fried chicken, this is the dish for you. Again, yesterday was our sweet and salty mix and everything was perfect! Our friends had the Lokal burger and also raved about it. The portions are pretty big and filling. They have a variety of drinks available at the bar. Our table like sweet drinks and the winner of the evening was the apple pie cider. If you have room for dessert, the key lime pie was perfect!

Utah burger, fritada burger, craft beer! This place put a lot of effort into feeling like a dive bar. But let’s face it’s Wynwood and rent does not allow dive bars to survive here. But it gives you a nice feel to it. The décor is totally hipster, which is kind of nice. You can see the hundred of photos posted, literally 100s! The burgers are awesome. I have the Utah burger and it was arguably the best burger I’ve ever had. I went back there with friends and I tried the Fritada burger! It was awesome. There is a guava taste to it, just enough of the sweet to let you know it’s different. The beers, well there are many to try. I am a huge fan of IPA and blonde ales. I enjoyed my Hop Gun and La Rubia respectively. The Funky Buddha more moor was awesome. I had a few of those and so did the other guys. The SIMTRA triple Indian IPA was a love it or hate it. Definitely a light beer in color but full in flavor. The place is crowed so be ready to wait or call ahead. Definitely worth the while.

This has become my favorite bar/restaurant in Miami! The variety and selection of beer is my favorite but the food has blown my mind. The gator bites and chicken & waffles are my go to dishes. My only wish for Kush is for them to expand the current space to sit more parties!

This place is super trendy and hip, but very small. We were lucky enough to snatch up some stools at the end of the bar. We started with the pork sausage and fried pickles. Although I thought the fried pickles were very good, the pork sausage lacked flavor/presentation and creativity. We ordered the chicken & waffles and the frita burger. The«frita» burger was good but not great and in no way was it a frita. I ordered fries half and half(regular fries and sweet potato) nice option. The chicken in waffle was good(waffle part) but the chicken was breast and chicken breast tends to be drier and my breading was falling off. Flavor was good but need to tweak things. By far the best thing was the bacon brownie. It had a great sweet and salty flavor. My two favorite combos.

Wow! Fun times last night at Kush for sure. It’s been on my list of fun places to try with delicious food and I’m so glad we went. It’s MUCH smaller than I had anticipated! Coming here with a large group during peak hours would most likely be impossible(so keep that in mind). There are only about 10 tables running along the wall with seating at their small bar as well. There is also a small amount of seating right out front. I dig the small space and the décor with red lighting and graffiti on the walls. Very fitting for the Wynwood vibe. We walked in at around 9:30 on a Tuesday and it was packed. We put our name on the list and were sat at the bar within 5 minutes. Awesome! Our bartender David was a cool dude. He was super friendly to us and gave some fantastic selections on the food. I’m from Chicago so I am always down to EAT! We tried the Johnny Utah which was voted best burger locally. It’s got pastrami on top. What? Yes! Right up my ally man. I’ve tried many many burgers in my day and this one had great flavor to it. We also shared the Boss Hog(which I seriously loved!) such a unique sandwich with pork sausage, chopped sautéed asparagus topped with melted jack cheese, spicy slaw and mustard. It was a boss sandwich, that’s for sure! If you’re in the mood for a photo op on the john, then check out Mr. Bean in the bathroom. Good times to be had for sure. Check it out!

This hole in the wall is a gem to any hipster burger lover. From the outside, you can’t really judge what to expect on the inside because there’s only a couple tables outside with the restaurant’s sign. Once you sit down inside, it’s a completely different story. I love the«farm to table» concept that Kush emphasizes to their guests. Who doesn’t enjoy fresh food? My friend and I ordered the alligator bites, Johnny Utah, and Lokal to share. All 3 are recommended. Alligator bites pair nicely with the spicy mayo and garlic sauce that come with it. The chicken-like texture but fish-like taste are things that make this appetizer especially interesting. Personally I didn’t think the burgers were too different, but I love the juiciness of the medium well burger. It’s just that good. Kush also has a good selection of draft beef. Drink local: Funky Buddha is the way to go! Servers were outstanding and sold the restaurant really well. Kudos

After a nice morning relaxing by the beach, I wanted to check out the Wynwood neighborhood. My friend and I were starving and didn’t want to eat around South Beach, so we decided to take a über here. I ordered the pastrami burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Maybe because I was super hungry, but it was such an experience. I ate the entire thing so quickly, but managed to savor every bit. I left completely stuffed. Can’t highly recommend this place enough. If I’m ever in Miami again, I’ll be sure to come back here!

Hab ja inzwischen schon so einige Burger gegessen in meinem Leben. Eine direkte Rangliste führe ich nicht. Aber das war definitiv einer der besten. Sehr gut gemacht.

Having been here a couple of times during two different nights of the week, I think it’s safe to say I have a pretty good understanding of what to do and what to avoid at Kush. The first time my guy and I had dinner here was on a Saturday night, BIGMISTAKE! It wasn’t horrible, but the wait was about an hour. We were told to wait in an adjacent bar, but we were a little confused at first. We finally found the place and I ended up ordering a beer that was around $ 8. I know it’s Miami, but this seemed a little steep to me. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes, with myself ordering a burger, my guy ordering a grilled cheese with soup, and we split the key lime pie. After all was said and done, it ended up being well over $ 50. With the wait and the rush/lack of service I was less than impressed the first time around. The food was good, but everything didn’t seem up to par with the pricing. Now this evening’s visit. With it being a Wednesday, I figured this might be a better experience at Kush. There were definitely less people, and we were seated right away. Our bartender/waitress Stephanie was awesome. Really easy to talk to and had great beer suggestions. We both ordered grilled cheeses and beer and split the key lime pie. The ambiance was definitely more relaxed/laid back, I felt more at home than I did the first time around. The waitress even told us that our soup was cold and shouldn’t have been. We were then given a complimentary slice of key lime pie to take home. Seriously, best service ever! I was very impressed. Honestly, the only thing keeping me from giving them five stars is the price point. I feel like they should lower their prices at least by $ 5. Other than that, Kush is fantastic and I would definitely recommend this place. Just make sure you have a little extra dinero!

The food is good here. I went with a friend and we sat at the bar. Our bartender was not friendly at all! He didn’t tell us about the drink special($ 4 local draft beer night). Thanks a lot!
