No stars for here, waited twenty minutes to get sugar for an ice tea. Never saw our waitress after the order was taken, had to get the hostess to get the sugar, a refill, and had her get the bill. Then an 18 percent service charge was added on. Not right paying for something you never get. Will not go back there again, very disappointed with this being in a Marriott property. Had to put one star to post,

Decent spot if you’re looking to stay at hotel. We went for a drink and appetizers and it was not busy but service was still a little slow. Prices not bad– $ 45 for glass of wine, beer and two appetizers.

Came here for a working dinner with a group of 6. We were the only people in the restaurant for the first half of our meal. Even when we were finished there were still only 3 tables of people. There were 2 bartenders, a server and a manager. Still, the service was godawful. We asked for the check to be split, and they split every single item into equal thirds. To the manager’s credit, he stepped in and rectified the situation. Still, match the service with mediocre food, and you’ve got a restaurant to avoid.

Freshly squeezed lemonade with good food… YES please! A great restaurant inside of the JW Marriott Marquis that has a little bit of everything. For being the JW Marquis, the menu is fairly priced and is nice restaurant to either catch a game and get a drink or to get some grub! I have been here a few times on different occasions in he past yea and a half and the service has always been EXTREMELY attentive and the staff has always made us feel like VIPs! Now that’s service! The flatbreads, burgers and quesadillas are good, although nothing to go crazy about, but their short rib, sliders(pork, crab, meat), and lamb are all delicious! Great consistent service + good food = 2 thumbs up!

Downtown Miami does not have many food options for lunch, although more spots are springing up every day. MET Café & Bar is located on the 2nd floor of the Marriott Marquis. Some co-workers and I recently had lunch there and we were all extremely impressed with the quality of the food. We had a Seafood Flatbread which was incredible. I had a short rib panini which was also incredible. The prices are high for lunch(around $ 20 for lunch), but it is a GREAT spot to try when you want something good and different from they typical downtown options. I loved it and will go back again!
