I used to eat here a lot but the last time I went over Labor Day weekend the service and food were terrible. So much so that I returned my food. I ordered fried eggs, I like my eggs with a hard yolk so I asked for the yoke to be broken and the eggs to be cooked on both sides. The waiter advised me they couldn’t cook eggs like that. He said they could only cook them, over easy, over hard… So I said ok please cook them over hard but break the yoke. After giving me more of a hard time he agreed to ask the cook to try. The simple fried eggs came out with a broken yoke cooked on both sides but were brown, they were covered in a brown oil and what looked like burnt bits of food from old oil thats been used a lot. I dabbed the eggs with a white napkin and the napkin came away covered in brown oil and bits. It was disgusting.

I first came here for brunch with a friend in which we both had a delicious Avocado BLT and the tastiest fries ever. We were also sitting across Marisa Tomei, also tasty. I’ve since been back, chasing that BLT again but it appears it’s on their special brunch menu. Every other sandwich they make though is gigantic and flavorful, and come with my favorite fries again. I would also highly recommend their Goat Cheese Salad. The food here is fresh and menu well thought out. I would definitely recommend coming for brunch or lunch, as the décor and street watching can be most appreciated during the day.

So, we arrived on Saturday night last week not really knowing what to expect. First, there’s a car wash next and connected to the restaurant. Hmmm, ok, let’s continue. We sat outside, comfortable table, some couches off to the side. But after the second metro bus drive-by we went inside. Too loud for us. Inside is a smallVery small, nothing special place. Small counter and one long cushioned bench with 3 or 4 tables and chairs. TV on mute, cool jazz playing thru speakers. let’s check out the menu. Very basic and nothing really pulled us in from the menu. Descriptions of Salads, sandwiches were ok and the few entrees were described minimally. Waitress came by friendly and helpful. We went with the special of the day: trout and WOW, a very pleasant surprise! Outstanding grilled trout perfectly prepared with delicious black rice with a spicy kick, and side salad with balsamic. Topped it off with their signature homemade brick cake with scoop of ice cream. Chilled rose wine was the perfect pairing. This is a great, cool, eclectic little place and we will definitely return. They care about the food and it’s preparation for sure. Might get my car washed during dinner next time. Please go, you will not be disappointed. Free parking on side street.

You may have a nice environment for seating this will attract customers, you may have the balls to charge 9 $ for a soup obviously your clients will not be the price conscience but when you bring that soup portion out luck warm and in a soup bowl is over half empty and the waiter is saying this is the portion size in the establishment … sure way to win repeat visits … not so not the worst place in town but hardly a winner … Next

A great experience overall! The food was fantastic… very fresh and delicious. The fish sandwich was on special the night that I dined. It was the biggest fish sandwich I have ever had! And the skinny fries were perfectly crispy… and VERY addicting. I recommend asking for some aioli to accompany them. The service was great as well. Our waitress was very attentive but not overbearing. if it had been cooler it would’ve been nice to sit outside. I found the inside to be a little cold. They tried to fix the air conditioner so it wouldn’t face us but regardless the air was hitting us directly. Thats my only complaint though. I highly recommend this restaurant for fresh, local, organic food in Miami. Enjoy!

I’m not quite sure what people like about this place. I found the food to be really overrated. I came to check this place out because it was highly recommended by a couple friends of mine who had especially enjoyed the goat cheese salad. Maybe my mistake here is that I went too hard on the goat cheese. Let me rewind. We started off our meal with a cheese plate. Now the whole meat and/or cheese platter has become ubiquitous — so much so that every place seems they need to offer one even if they don’t have a great selection of either. Metro is the perfect example. I think we paid $ 20+ for a cheese plate that consisted of plain goat, brie, and blue. All generic cheeses that I could have picked up at Publix. One of my favorite things about ordering the meat/cheese platter is discovering something new; definitely not the case at Metro. Again, maybe it was my mistake after having a heaping helping of goat cheese on this platter to order the goat cheese salad, but I don’t think I would have been really happy with it regardless. It was 3 large fried chunks of goat cheese, and several huge pieces of beets. Now normally I love both of those things, but after I chopped them down to a size where either one was edible my salad had turned into a real hot mess. It tasted ok, but required way too much work and was also overpriced for a salad with no protein. I also ordered a side of truffled polenta(truffle oil and polenta are two things I almost never pass up — I felt like this combo was bound to be magical). What I got was not the nice creamy polenta I was used to, but a hard packed lump of polenta which had been sprinkled with salt and truffle oil on top, and was entirely tasteless on the bottom. It didn’t even seem like it was the same food, and it was definitely the worst part of the experience. The only OK part of dinner was the chicken sandwich we ordered, which was good but nothing to write home about. I’m giving it two stars simply because the service was good and the ambience is really nice, as well as feeling like the food is in fact very fresh, but I really do believe they’ll have to do something more than label their meals organic to charge these prices for such mediocre offerings.

As good as it gets! Luxury & a Great Deal! If you’re smart about food, you know it’s all about the ingredients! Metro Organic Bistro uses only FRESH, ORGANIC, YUMMY ingredients. This place is like an upscale bistro in New York combined with the humble homestyle confidence of the South, meshed together with the sustainable-lifestyle(i.e. vegetarian-friendly, wink-wink). Grass fed steak is Miami’s best. Highly Recommend the fantastic wine pairing as well! Seriously — get your car detailed and enjoy a fresh, organic lunch :) this is true Miami style

Always looking for places that can accommodate both the vegetarian and the meat eater, Metro Organic was the place. Happened upon it by accident, but will certainly be back by design. The service was great. We sat at the bar and chatted with the lovely owner. Every dish that went out of the kitchen was eye catching. When our order finally came out(it did take a while, but…) it was worth the wait. My Chickpea Cakes were outstanding. I don’t have a bad word to say about them. My friend’s dish was equally outstanding. It was a fish dish, but I forget which or what it was called. Seating is limited inside. Outdoor seating was ample. Next time I might even get a car wash.

This is a really nice place, with gorgeous Miami Modern architecture(1950s style), and a really attractive contemporary feel. I’d love to take a date here, although my one visit was dining alone. Service was friendly but extremely slow. The good news is that they obviously cook their food to order. The bad news is that even with an iPad and WiFi to distract me, the wait was visibly long — I think it was close to half an hour(!). So make sure you and your dining companion, if any, are prepared for a very long wait. Might be a good idea to arrive slightly hungry but not starving; by the time you get your food, you will be ravenous. The menu is extremely limited. It’s a single page, and its most prominent feature is lots of white space. I think there were only about eight or so entrée choices on the menu, only one or two of which seemed promising. So the revisit value of this place seems a bit low, unless you really like ordering the same thing all the time. I had the chicken with beans and bacon. It was out of this world delicious, probably the best simple food I’ve ever had. The crust was perfectly spiced and the bacon pieces were large and meaty. Even the green beans were good; I’m normally someone who doesn’t care much for vegetables, but I completely cleaned my plate. Portion size was good; enough to make me feel pleasantly stuffed. So this is close to a five-star restaurant, except that value for money was horrible. The chicken dish cost a snappy $ 19, plus $ 3 for my Diet Coke. So my check was around $ 24 with tax, and that’s silly money for a relatively modest lunch. Add a reasonable tip and we’re pushing $ 30. My bottom line, then, is to come here only if you have healthy amounts of time and money. The food is worth the wait but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price. On the other hand, it may simply reflect the costs associated with this kind of food. You don’t visit Whole Foods Market to save money, either. (Note that in choosing the price range it was a tough choice between«Moderate» and«Spendy» since it was literally right on the borderline. The fact that my meal did not include an appetizer or anything to provide additional value to the entrée sent this one over the top in my view.)

This place embodies the three C’s: cute, casual, and cozy. I can imagine parking can get dicey since there only a few free spots in the lot and the remaining few spots are street-meter parking. The servers were sweet and attentive and the food was yummy. I feel like the menu could expand more — for a place that touts itself as healthy and organic there should at least be a whole section of salads, a whole section of wraps, etc. It’s on the pricier side(about $ 20/person) for such a casual eatery. I always balk when coffee/side dish prices are over 2 bucks. I think it has great potential — just get creative with the menu and maybe hedge the prices a bit.

I came here for a day after Christmas lunch with my friends. The location is very easy to get to, as it’s right on Biscayne near Starbucks. We didn’t realize there was metered parking on the street adjacent to the restaurant, so we struggled to fit into the free parking lot for a little while. There are not a lot of spots devoted to Metro(instead they are reserved for Dogma next door). We sat outside because the weather was beautiful, at a high top table with plenty of room for everyone. The atmosphere is very pleasant outside. I had a croquette salad due to my intense pigging out on Christmas Day(two dinners will do that to you). I was pretty happy with my salad. It was a spring mix with a yummy dressing that I liked a lot. The best part about the salad was that it came with 4 goat cheese croquettes which were pretty sizeable! I ended up not eating the last croquette, exchanging it for a taste of some of my husband’s fries. Let me just say that Metro knows what they’re doing when it comes to french fries! Oh so delicious. Our service was great, and overall everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The server was willing to split our check, which I always really appreciate. I would love to come back and try a burger here!

Went to dinner last night. I’m overall unimpressed with this restaurant and there were a few things that I really didn’t like about it. First of all, I’m all for organic and farm-to-table restaurants. What I don’t like is the snootiness that goes along with it. We ordered the tuna tartare as a starter which came under-seasoned(a theme through the meal there), and when I asked for extra toast points I was told there would be a $ 5 charge. What?! I’ve dined at a lot of restaurants and never heard of someone doing a $ 5 up charge on a few extra toast points. My gf also ordered a tuna nicoise salad which was heavily under-seasoned and underwhelming I understand the«figs on a plate» mentality but you need to do something to food to make it palatable. Acid, salt, fat, these are the tools a chef uses to make food good. Being minimalist is one thing, being lazy is quite another. The only reason that I am not giving a 1 star review is that they do have one redeeming fact. The burger is great. Get it, with the fontina cheese and bacon, sweet potato fries, and a belgian beer. That would be a good experience. Have not been for brunch so cannot comment on that.

Metro offers a relaxing, gourmet break while you wait for your car at the next-door car wash. We have been here several times. On each visit, the staff greets us, knows all the dishes, and gave us time to enjoy the meal and dessert. Their Sunday brunch is the best, finished with a red cake with caramelized sugar frosting.

This place was everything I had hoped for and more! Friendly staff, excellent, fresh, organic food! I had the ahi steak burger and my wife had the organic grass fed burger. Both were just scrumptious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that appreciates fresh, organic and healthy food. Will definitely be returning.

Went there for dinner last night. Interesting place on Biscayne, the terrace is well hidden from the street with some bushes. It’s nice because you don’t feel like eating on the sidewalk. Very small place, simple menu with mouthwatering dishes to choose from. Everything is organic, from the salad, to the meat, to the bread, even the beers and wines! My husband got the regular grass-fed burger with fries. They are big and, delicious and perfectly cooked. I had the ahi tuna steak sandwich with fries. Delicious as well although it is served on a huge beer bread bun and I don’t really see the point of that bread. A regular bun or toast would be better. The tuna was well cooked, pink inside. However it was cold which was a bit disappointing. The Asian slaw was very very good. The fries are crispy and thin. They are«matchstick» fries. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was good. Good portion to share. I thought it was too«wet» at the bottom but it worked out well since it was the favorite part of my husband and I preferred the top part. Overall very good restaurant, it’s great to find organic food and grass-fed meat in a restaurant at affordable prices in Miami.

Service-10 Beer-10 Food– 9 Quite amazing healthy/organic restaurant located/connected to a carwash on biscayne. I went for lunch and thought«why have i not stopped here before?». I was really impressed with the set-up and cleanliness inside and out. The service was good and the beer/wine selections are right on… They have brunch on Saturday/Sunday as well she told me until 1pm with live music. will have to make a trip back. I do recommend this place. 4.5 stars!

This place is great. I’ve never been there when it was just part of Karma. Anyway the new Bistro serves up some good food, wine, and beer with lots of outdoor seating AND they’re dog friendly(see uploaded pix). My only grip is that it’s a little spendy for an eatery that’s a car wash annex. I’m hoping they’ll introduce a happy hour to offset those $ 7 beer prices. They’ve only been opened as the Bistro for a month, so we’ll have to see.
