Naked Lunch

I like the atmosphere of the place, and we had fun reading all the quotes on the wall. However, when it boils down to the food, I just wasn’t impressed like other Unilocalers. I actually left feeling like I overpaid for my burger. Sorry, Naked Lunch, I don’t think I’ll be back.

Terrific food — say YES to all-​day breakfast! — and conscientious caring service from the staff. (Ask for John if you also want to talk music, books or drinking while you’re having lunch!) Smoothies, juices, milkshakes, full bar and you can have your burger #GetNaked — in a lettuce wrap. My favorite! Daily diner lunch specials, too. I’ll be back!

This place is fun and the food is very good. I found the service to be a bit slow but don’t let that deter you. It’s diner style and the portions are on the larger side. Onion rings rock. Ice tea needs help now. My waiter was friendly, made sure I was happy with my food choices and corrected anything that wasn’t quite right. This is located right before 20^th street on 7^th Avenue NW. Make sure you go into the parking lot with the lift gate as they validate your ticket and it won’t cost you a penny. Devil eggs were delicious. While I don’t recommend it for a fast lunch or breakfast, it’s definitely worth going. They have daily specials as well. My recommendation: improve the service just a touch and i think you have a winning combination.

Great spot. Loved the décor and atmosphere. They have a nice craft beer selection on tap. The menu was extensive and all of our choices were excellent as was the service.

The taco special on tuesday is great! I work upstairs and come down every Tuesday to check out the tacos. The carnitas are my favorite, where as the chicken not so much (unless they dress it up with a sauce)! It comes with rice and beans and unlimited chips and salsa. It is a great deal.

Not missing much had a salmon with egg plant did not taste so great. Second time had lunch with coworkers had a salad was great. Not so pleased with naked lunch anybody can make a great salad. Two other food spots subway and Thea’s way much better.

I found myself here during the week for lunch. I was actually planning on going to another restaurant in the same building but the menu for Naked Lunch caught my eye. I ordered light, just a fattoush salad which was super fresh! It was tossed with a light olive oil and a hint of vinegar and served with plenty of warmed pitas. My dining partner ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken that was equally as good. Based on the salads alone, I would definitely come back to try the other items. The service was excellent and friendly, and was attentive to the tables. They do catering which is good for the different organizations, hospitals and government offices in the area.

Don’t go after 11 rules change don’t send anything back if u do just leave cause service changes and only order stuff that u can see the price for cause prices change too

I’ve been here 3 maybe 4 times. Portions are huge. Service has always been above average. Ho-​hum menu but I’m sure it’s all decent. I’ve liked, not loved everything I’ve tried. I haven’t disliked anything. Not quite 4 stars, but it’s not exactly a 3, so 4 it is.

I found this place to be largely disappointing. I went there because a friend of mine had heard that the place was open and that they were something of a diner, perhaps similar to the diners that I would frequent back home and miss very much. This however, was just not the case. First of all, I went during lunch time, fairly early and found that they were already out of the daily special. The server said that they run out fairly quickly every day. I then thought I would try the reuben, in that I have yet to find a quality reuben in the Miami area. Much to my dismay, however, they put coleslaw on their reubens. That is simply unheard of in my book. I ended up settling on the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms added to it and found it to be acceptable though I know that my prior diappointments probably hindered my enjoyment somewhat.

The place is nice, the attention is exellent, however the food is weird, I have been there 3 times and I did not like it.

First time here and definitely not the last. Great food, service and prices. I recommend trying the tomato soup and they make it everyday, super delish. I also tried the ralph and benny sandwich and wow was that one of the best sandwiches i ever had, will be coming back for sure.

Had lunch at Naked Lunch for the first time today. It’s Taco Tuesday! Today’s tacos were made with perfectly fried cod, cabbage and pico de gallo. The tacos were delicious, the prices are great and the customer service is amazing. We will definitely go back for more!

This place is a great local spot for lunch. Menu is varied so you can come with a group and everyone will be happy. They have blue plate specials, pastrami, burgers, salads, breakfast all day and a bar. All American style… very cool inside. old school diner vibe with famous quotes lining the walls. The staff is here is so cool… everyone is super nice! All food made to order and the specialties are definitely worth it. I have already been here on three different occasions and have had the tuna nachos (absolutely melts in your mouth), the bacon wrapped dates (which are AMAZING), the Burger (which they bring out to you with a knife. they know you will have to cut it… thick and juicy) and whatever drink is the drink of the day… everything has been totally on point. Chef Ralph Pagano himself is on the line regularly and his attention to detail shows in the food… haven’t had a bad meal here yet.
So all you people in the Wynwood, Midtown and downtown area… time to come to a new place. Oh and there is also free parking… definitely a plus!
Naked Lunch is a place that has real food and real nice people! I know if you come once you will definitely be back.

Great new place. Good prices, yummy food, and some of the nicest wait staff in Miami. Already gone 3 times!

This restaurant just opened in the Life Sciences Building of the University of Miami. This is in the same place where Balan’s used to be at. It is really nice in the inside, very bright if you go during the day since the restaurant is surrounded by glass. The staff is friendly but best of all, the food is delicious. I went on a friday and their day special was the Fish ‘n Chips. The fries are a delicious lemon pepper french fries and they are unlimited! I had two extra orders since they were that good. They also gave me the choice of grilled fish which was great because I’m not a big fan of fried fish. I will be visiting this place more often.
