Unfortunately, I cannot leave Zero stars for this place. But Im gonna keep it simple, cause if I start typing about everything that was wrong with this place, I will never finish. Save yourself the money and instead go to Five Guys across the street :/ Overpriced cheap mediocre food at it’s best. That’s all!

The food was soo good! I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. The manager checked up on us frequently to see if we needed anything and even gave us a free dulce de leche desert on the house! Even though I was so full from my meal I still ate every bite because it was so great! Definitely recommend coming here,

This was my first visit to Novecento. I loved the music, décor and the service. They even offer Hooka if that’s your thing. My only negative comment is that the lady’s bathroom is too small and the bathroom attended behaved more like a school teacher giving us 2 minutes each to get in and out of the restroom

After dining here a few weeks ago I battled whether or not to leave a 3 star or 4 star review. Everything on the food and drink side was amazing but the service lacked in awareness. The original server just disappeared and it seemed like nobody knew what happened or was even informed to watch our table. The gnocchi in pink sauce and truffle ravioli were very satisfying and hit the spot just the service did not.

I went to this place on a Saturday night with a group of 7, the dishes were really good. The chicken and meat are cooked to perfection. The strawberry caipirinha is also really good. The customer service also good. The only two things that didn’t like were: 1) the water, it tastes bad. It’s not filtered water for sure, and 2) the music at the espresso lounge bar besides the restaurant is really bad and it’s very uncomfortable to have a nice meal with friends while listening to loud disgusting music of reggeaton.

I had a wonderful experience with my wife and mother-in-law. Start to finish was absolute flavor with pure insanity. The spread had eggplant, the empanadas are da bomb. The fried calamari was well done and the medici salad is full of flavor. Gazpacho was absolute best during hot days especially when the hint iof celery was never found. The ravioli was full flavor, the mahi mahi awesome flaky and well properly cooked. The curry chicken is amazing. They sent us a complimentary desert. You know what. This is great experience.

Novecento’s midtown location is everything you want it to be. Nice surroundings, ample parking, beautiful bar but the reason you go to a restaurant is to eat… And ehile the flabor of the food is delicious its way too overpriced and the service is barely better than at a nightclub. Their bar could do with more variety, but its solid. Their food menu is ample… but those portion sizes are a rip off. The typical Argentinian picada, which runs around 30 bucks had 4 bites of chicken, 3 bites of steak, 1 empanada and 1 chorizo. It wasnt a fluke… We ordered 4 of them as they were delicious… but a total robbery at $ 29 a piece, specially compared to similar restaurants such as grazianos. The tuna tartar and octopus ceviche as well as the grilled octopus were the same story… delicious but a complete. insult for over $ 15+ for each. The lomo was the only decent sized playe… for one person. But for $ 40… well its up there. would I go back? yeah the place is entertaining… but for drinks. not for food.

A Houstonian in Miami for vacation went to this Argentinian restaurant after being recommended here by an Argentinian Miami native. Novecento is located in a shopping district with both inside and outdoor seating. We sat outside and started off with some empanadas: beef, chicken, and ham and cheese. All were fantastic and no surprise as they are one of the specialties of the house. For my main course, I had the sampler platter which came with steak, chicken, two types of sausage, and empanadas… meat overload. But man I love my meet and Argentinians are known for their meat so it didn’t disappoint. No side order but there was so much meat I could only finish half of it. The steak was my favorite. Food is a bit pricier than I expected but we enjoyed Novecento!

My girlfriend and I sat outside for a double date. There were people smoking cigarettes while we ate, so be prepared for that if you sit outside. The Baru across the street was playing music and there were lots of beautiful women walking around throughout dinner, which was nice. The food was very expensive but very, very good. Service left a little to be desired with delayed service, and some lack of training and little knowledge on alcoholic beverages. A neat whiskey was answered by whiskey on the rocks, a glass of wine brought to the table half empty, then another brought full with an apology. Again, food was amazing and the ambience was great for us. Because of the quality of the food, I’ll ignore the mediocre service and prices. I highly recommend the«ojo de bife» which is a ribeye steak! That was cooked spectacularly!

homegirl and I had a gilt voucher for brunch. it was pretty quiet for a saturday afternoon but better than the alternative of annoying crowded. located in midtown shops, its attached to IT espresso lounge, decorated very nicely inside, we sat by the window, server was friendly, fast and attentive. she gave us a gilt menu, side of bread hearty and grainy, with their eggplant sorta butter dip which was interesting but not 100% a fan, then started with one beef and one chicken empanadas which were freakin delicious! their eggs benedict with the skirt steak which was cooked perfectly, did leave a lil something to be desired, perhaps just a lil bit more kick to it, maybe a dash of chimichurri, biffles got the french toast which was huge, custardy and didn’t even need syrup, we split each entrée, 2 mimosas each with fresh OJ and a coffee of our choice was also included. all in all a 3.5 kinda experience, no life changing food, except maybe their empanadas, but def more than satisfactory.

Came for brunch, great coffee, AWESOME empanadas, the Novecento Benedict was underwhelming though it sounds amazing on paper, lacked some seasoning I think the skirt steak was the right temperature but lacked flavor. Service was excellent though, great staff.

No volveria.

Huge fan of Novecento! I’ve been going to the Brickell location for awhile now, but after checking out the Midtown location,(which is closer to me) I’ll be coming back more. We had an excellent server, «D.» She was super knowledgable, gave us great recommendations, really established a great server-clientele connection with us. She knew exactly how to deal with us.(My friend and I are quite particular.) like a champ! Great food, we ordered some salads, a veggie pasta bowl, and some champagne, and ended with a couple of cortaditos You’ll see us soon

I rated this experience a five because it surpassed my expectations when I saw the steak come out sizzling and the server actually asked me if I would like my steak cut and served at the table. I came for an early dinner around 5:30 pm with my family last Tuesday afternoon 3.31.15 because they have a steak and wine special on Tuesdays. We sat outside on the terrace and it was still quiet because of the time. The older I get, like eating before dinner rush hours because I receive better service and the kitchen is amped. Oh, the advantage of early dinners is that if a restaurant has a bar, chances are that there is a happy hour special. Moving forward… I ordered this Gaucho Steak Special with a bottle of house wine and the empanadas as a starter. Me, my daughter and her mother shared the 36 ounce bone in rib-eye and we ate great for under $ 120.00 tip included. Oh, the steak came with fries, mashed potatoes, and a gravy sauce.($ 62) What made me happy was that they are cool with sharing, or at least they didn’t say anything. The server looked at me and said, «36 ounces, you ready?», I replied, «both my girls are meat eaters». funny For me, this is Midtown’s new Steakhouse. I will return and bring my brothers.

At first, we were supposed to dine in another restaurant in the area but when we saw it was closed we ended up eating at Novecento, and I am very happy we did! We ordered the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, it was delicious, perfectly seasoned with arugula on the top. For the main dish, I got a sword fish that came with risotto, very tasty. My husband also enjoyed his dish which was skirt steak with goat cheese. The kids menu also offered a lot of different options which was great! On top of that the service was all you can wish for, our waitress(i believe her name was Erika) was very nice, helpful and smiling! We will be back!

The WORSTMANAGEREVER! I have NEVEREVER been told to get up from the stool chair at a bar. I have been to the biggest rat holes in Miami and this has never occured! All bars have stools and people sit there, especially if I’m consuming drinks! We were made to stand up cause they needed the chairs for table customers. To make matters worse… The manager sent a bus boy to tell us and then they start chatting with other patrons at the bar about our reaction and calling us names. Unprofessional and flat out DISGUSTING! The Coked out Manager with no Ba**s and they’re nasty style customer service will never see me again there! The owner of Novecento may he R.I.P. would have been embarrased!

My husband and I heard about he opening of Novecento in Midtown from a friend of ours. We spent the afternoon in downtown Miami one day an decided to have dinner here. The menu looked great and the waitstaff were very courteous and friendly. Plus, we were STARVING from being out all afternoon. We also ordered their signature beef empanadas, which were amazing and totally hit the spot. Totally recommend these to any empanada lover. For dinner, we both ordered spaghetti pasta dishes, but asked to substitute to spaghetti pasta for their in-house made fettuccine pasta. From our experience, the pasta made in-house is always better. Plus we wanted to get a taste of this signature item of Novecento. Well the dishes came and boy they looked amazing. Since we were starving we wasted no time shoving our faces. As we ate we realized something was quite wrong: our Novecento signature pasta was crunchy! It clearly needed to be boiled longer. The waitress offered to take it back and make new dishes, but we were so famished, and didn’t want to wait any longer to eat, so we declined and just at the pasta fixins with bread and asparagus instead. It was good and the waitstaff willfully accommodated us, but the hard pasta really killed this review. For the price they charge for their pasta, it shouldn’t be a crunchy experience.

Cool new spot in Midtown that is connected toIT espresso lounge. We went for dinner the other night and the food was ok, and so were the drinks. The bread they service is really good. You MUST get the fries they came with the burger they are amazing they have truffle salt on them. The place inside is decorated really nicely. The service was really good. I am glad to see so many new spots are opening in Midtown. This place will be a hit ! I think this place has a better atmosphere and drinks, than the actual food. People tho

This was our first visit to the midtown Novecento. I have been to the Brickell, Key Biscayne and Buenos Aires locations. The service was good as was the food. We odered a caprese salad to start which was fine. For our entrées I had the vacio and the wifey had the lomo a la parilla. Both were cooked to our requests and the meat was tender and full of flavor. For desert we were provided with a strawberry merengue desert with dulce de leche and 2 machiattos. Unbeknownst to us management had given us the desert and the coffees on the house. The manager did come around during our meal to chit chat which was a plus. Love the location and for me Novencento never disappoints and this new location will do well.
