Very rude and unfriendly staff. I made a furniture purchase which happens to come in while I was hospitalized for emergency surgery. I kept in contact with the store regarding the situation. When my husband went to pick it up, the manager and cashier/​attendant (Spanish lady) which insisted in speaking Spanish while my husband would speak English. Both, were very rude and condescend. The manager seemed to be doing us a favor and was very unprofessional. A very, very disappointing experience.

I visited this store on 2÷15÷2015 and I was helped by this store clerk named Crystal and she was GREAT!!! She helped me put together my dining table accessories (charger, place mats, napkin, napkin ring, plates, & glass) together from inside the store. She was awesome, patient & professional! Next time your in the store ask for Crystal!!!

Worst shop ever and management has an condescending manager who does know retail or how a shopper likes to shop.

I’m I love with this store. The only warning I have are against the coffee mugs, they are very pretty but when I heat tea or milk in them etc in the microwave, the mug handle heats up and you can get burned by just holding the mug by the handle as you should be able to do. So I won’t be buying mugs from them again. Other then that I’ve bought a dinning table, chairs, coffee table and area rug, which I’ve had for years and are very good quality and unique.

I have loved you since I was just a little girl, visiting your store with my Mom. Those memories are quite fond and I still have some items from way back when. :)
I hate to say this, but I have lived down here for almost 4 years and this was the first time I visited this store. I have no excuse. I don’t even know what to say. :-\ Anyhoo, I digress. I came here in search of some materials for my newest hobby, terrarium making! So I came to see what items you might have to inspire my creative side. Luckily, I found some amazing rocks for my work.
This store is pretty large, and the clerks were helpful. When we first arrived, however, no one seemed to be around. Eventually I did find someone I could ask questions. There were a couple of different clearance rack areas, which I always peruse in hopes of finding that perfect item at that perfect price. No such luck on this occasion, but that definitely will not stop me from always searching here first. ;-)
There are still some very classic items for purchase with new touches, such as the Papasan chairs (SO comfy!) and some furniture pieces. I love that you always have a section of some very unique items for kids as well. Also, there was a wonderful mother’s Day display with some great bath & body items.
Thanks for everything Pier 1! So grateful you are so close. I promise to frequent more often.
