I have eaten here with my family for years and every time I go it is a great experience. The food is delicious, the show is awesome, and the service is always perfect. Sushi appetizers with a Japanese beer and any dinner combo is always a perfect dinner for me. My last visit was exceptional. Our Chef, Sergio was a great entertainer and put on a great show. The food he cooked was amazing and he made all of us laugh. As usual A+ dinner and service.

Samurai has become a landmark here in Miami! No matter how many years pass the experience still wows me! Whether it’s a graduation, birthday or family event this will continue to be our number one choice. Can’t say enough about the food or the amazing shrimp sauce that I can use for everything! Don’t worry about the long wait on a weekend because you can hang by the bar while you wait. I had the pleasure of having Mike as our bartender. He has over and over again surpassed what it means to be an attentive bartender! Thank you samurai staff!

Samurai’s is a South Florida institution. I’m sure most people that have come of age here(or transplanted) have been brought here for the fun hibachi antics, great food cooked at your table, and the unique dining experience of sitting with random people. Most people will also rave about the pink sauce and ensure to ask for extra at the table(and with the take home bag). With a good chef, the entire experience is smooth, fun, and enjoyable, especially if they know how to read people and play the table. If you are like me and only tend to carry credit cards, try to bring a little cash to tip out your chef before he or she leaves the table(you’ll regret not having money if they chef creates a great experience…, even though you could easily put it on the bill at the end). Samurai’s is a reliable and consistent hibachi restaurant experience. The lunch special(M-F) is perhaps that best deal on the menu and will probably help you beat the crowds and long waits that tend to happen during dinner and evening hours. There’s also free valet parking, which is most likely there to avoid the chaos that occurs when people try to park themselves in the modest parking lot. A standard hibachi meal for two will typically run at least $ 50(without drinks or tips). I have no doubt that I will go back here with my wife(she loves that pink sauce!).

I’m not the biggest hibachi fan, but I am a lover of really great food. Samurai was recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived it was 11 pm on a Friday and the parking lot was full and several people were inside waiting to be seated. Luckily my friend and I got seated right away. I ordered the tuna roll and the salmon roll, and he ordered the Spicy Chicken Hibachi along with a side order of the hibachi shrimp. My rolls were fresh and came quickly, so I would definitely recommend the sushi. They serve soup and salad with any hibachi order, which my friend raved about. The hibachi chef was very friendly and polite, and also very quick with cooking the food. I recommend getting the creamy shrimp sauce that they offer — it is delicious and even went well with my sushi. The spicy chicken was very flavorful and I especially loved the hibachi shrimp that the chef cooked with lemon butter. My friend ordered brown rice as an alternative to the fried rice to be a little more health conscious, but other patrons at our table had the fried rice and the noodles and seemed to really love it because they had no leftovers to take home. Another thing I must add is that the portions are large so if you’re not a big eater then you could definitely share one meal like my friend and I did. I ordered the red wine sangria, and while it was a beautifully prepared drink, I found that it left much to be desired. I’ve had much better. Overall I totally understand why so many people love this place, and if you’re a hibachi lover then definitely try Samurai and you won’t regret it.

Im a Samurai Vet. Since the womb, literally. This place is going downhill. Fast. Beer isnt ice cold and its $ 9 sapporo. Service is horrible. Who does the hiring? No one takes pride in their work. Worst experience and it keep getting worse. Sad because this was my favorite place to go and enjoy a nice dining experience with friends.

By far the worst service I could have possible received. The hostess stand clearly mixes up who came in first and seats who they want to seat first. When you go to check how much longer the wait will be you can see there are parties crossed out below you. Which means they were sat. I saw a party that had more people than my party that came after me on the list and they were sat before me. The waitress dropped a credit card then said the check got lost so we had to pay cash, instead of using our card. To top it off my car got scratched with mandatory valet. All of this and it’s my birthday. Thank you Samurai!

My daughters birthday, she chose Samurai, it’s been a while since I’ve been here, 2 yrs or so. Got the chateaubriand OMG, I swear I didn’t need to hardly chew it’s was butter soft, succulent, deliciously seared,. I must give credit to Jayme our chef, not only was he a good cook but also quite entertaining. Service a 10, I forget why it’s been so long? Join the on line club and use your $ 30 bday gift, seriously it’s ridiculously amazing, oh free valet, hello??? I’m in heaven!!!

Here’s another place I come at birthday time, because of their«email club» wherein you receive a $ 30 printable coupon in your email around the beginning of the month. Because of this valuable coupon, it gets real busy, so unless you want to wait in line and not have any parking, Come Early. On this visit, we waited only 10 mins. at the bar. I thought $ 7.25 for a bar vodka/coke, and $ 5.50 for a Presidente was a little high, but I guess thats how they cover the coupon. We were then seated and greeted by a very cordial, and unfailingly polite server. Our chef was not overly enthusiastic like some tend to be, but was skilled in all the requisite moves involved in cook/prep of our entrees. We had the triple which includes ginger salad, soup, shrimp app, chicken, filet mignon, and shrimp. We added on the fried rice and all this came out to about $ 40. Everything was delicious, only the soup, which I’m not even sure what it was, disappointed. It was not much more than plain broth. Also, I asked the chef for medium-rare steak, but some of the tidbits were mooing. On your birthday, after dinner, you get a little bowl of soft serve ice cream, a Happy Birthday serenade, and a picture. I’m not a fan of hibachi, sitting with people other than my party(this time we had a nice single mom and her son, and unfortunately, a phone-absorbed couple yakking away) Having said that, coming here early and taking advantage of the coupon makes this annual birthday pilgrimage worthwhile…

Great time at Dinner. We drove down from Georgia and were invited to eat at Samurai the drinks were tasty. The chef was funny and made the experience special. I had the Tuna Steak rare and it was right on time. It’s a high quality cut about 2 ½ inch by 5 inches. Covered in a nice sesame seed and seared to perfection. They give you veggies and fried rice along with shrimp.

My favorite hibachi place. They have a great lunch special too! But what’s the best is how they sauté their shrimp, in garlic butter & lemon. Of course I travel from jersey and always come here for their shrimp sauce(the creamy sauce they serve) it’s literal perfection and usually gets smothered all over everything. Their is usually a long line, but of course that insures freshness and clearly it’s popular for good reason.

I have had Hibachi style experiences in many restaurants in the U.S.(and overseas too), and I believe this is one of the best Hibachi restaurants around(note: it is owned by Benihana). I like that the chefs are usually happy and fun, and try to interact with everyone at the table, this is specially good if you have kids with you. Prices are decent. My steak is always at the right temperature(«medium») and seasoning is right on the money. Greta fried rice and veggies. Shrimp appetizer is included with your entrée, along with a salad and soup. Cool. I specially like their birthday promo(if you are a subscriber to their email club you get a $ 30 coupon once a year), great excuse to get the family together for a night out. But… usually the wait is very long, typically between 30 minutes to 2 hours(any day of the week!), so be prepared, bring stuff to keep the kids entertained. Recommended!

The food isn’t bad, it’s just as good as Benihana, not as good as Aoki, but the wait here is ridiculous. I can’t understand how everyone waits so long. If it was just that they told me it would be long and it was, then that would be my problem, but they tell you a pretty long wait time like 30 – 45 minutes and it ends up being even longer. Plus, once you finally get seated, you wait even longer. The other tepanyakki places have this part figured out. Aoki you barely wait and the food is much better. If it was just the wait then I wouldn’t have given only 2 stars. But the food wasn’t very good either. They use waaaaaay too much butter. Like they drown everything in butter until Paula Dean would ask you to calm down. Overall, I hope I don’t go back. I probably will because I live 2 minutes away and every time I go I think maybe it’ll be different, but it won’t and I’ll be mad and it’ll be my own damn fault.

Love, love, love is all I can say the food and experience are top notch. You could either sit in or out but I prefer in because you get to experience a chef cook your food right in front of you. For around $ 20 to $ 30 dollars per person you get a five course meal and during the week at lunch time its half the price. They also have a sushi bar and a bar for drinks, perfect while you are waiting for your table. If you plan on going there for dinner expect to wait a while and always make sure you arrive with your party because they will not seat you without them. I always order the hibachi chicken its life with there special pink sauce. When I leave I always end up taking food to go cause it is so much food. I recommend this place if you are celebrating a birthday or just going with a big group the food is amazing.

I come to Samurai mainly for birthdays(mine or GF’S or someone close). Their white sauce is awesome, it just makes EVERYTHING better. Obviously, the highlight of Samurai is that the chef cooks and does a small performance here and there as he cooks. You sit family style around the table as the chef cooks everyones meal and distributes each item to your plate. They put generous amounts of garlic butter on everything they cook, which again, enhances flavor greatly(and calories). The food: — Sushi rolls: I’ve had some of their sushi and have thought they were good rolls. No complaints. –I typically get steak or steak and shrimp with their fried rice. Solid EVERYTIME! –I love their soup, it’s just delicious! The scallions, mushrooms, little fried onion? i think it is floating around, and of course the broth! –Their salads are garbage though lol, I NEVER eat that stuff. The dressing is gross to me. Samurai is a machine, they are ALWAYS packed… any day and time of the week, they will have high traffic.

This is by far one of my Fav locations to have lunch or dinner at! Everything in this place is always perfect the food the waiters and the chefs. Its such an awesome experience to eat at this establishment. Their food is always beyond awesome and cooked to perfection by their chefs. If you never been make sure you try the pink sauce aka the yum yum sauce aka Japanese ketchup. I have recently started going for lunch and the prices are bout half and no wait time. Thats the only sucky part about going at night usually there is a 1hr wait anytime of the week(thats how you know the place is awesome). So go with time to sit a wait for a table to free up. Its well worth it anyway. Overall A+

Been there twice and so far, no problems with both. The first time I went there was on my honey’s birthday and we went with his family for dinner. Service was good and food was great — pretty pricey though(it’s expected for dinner). I got both the pink sauce and the ginger sauce. Both were great but the pink sauce is definitely better, so I recommend double of it. I don’t recall exactly what I ordered but I do remember getting filet mignon(aside from the usual rice and veggies, etc). It was pretty tasty and cooked exactly how I wanted it! The second time we went, it was for lunch. I had the lunch combo of scallops and shrimp. Definitely cheaper and still the same hibachi experience(the cook does the same jokes/routine i.e. beating heart act with the fried rice) and the food is basically the same. Although the menu options are lesser, it’s still more or less the same… just MUCH cheaper. So if you’re on a budget but would like a glimpse of the dinner experience, go for lunch! I actually would give this place a 3.5 stars. Would’ve been 4 but I’m not a big hibachi fan in general(it’s too much food). I think next time I’d just eat half of everything and save the other half. Or come here super hungry… Just come with a very big appetite!

The food at Samurai is always delicious! I usually come during lunch hours to take advantage of their less expensive lunch options. There is normally a long wait to be seated. You can sit at the bar to wait for your table if there is space. If you join their free Samurai rewards program, they will email you a voucher for $ 30 off your meal during your birthday month. The habachi tables fit about 7 or 8 people so you will be seated with random people(I don’t mind that). The service was good. Our waiter was quick to take our drink orders. I tried a baby blue ocean. It was good(if you like fruity). I order the filet mignon lunch special which includes either a soup or salad, fired rice, vegetables and mushrooms(I order an extra side of the mushrooms… That’s how good they are). I loved the pink shrimp sauce they serve on the side. I may have poured it over everything! I like that everything is cooked right in front of you and the cook was interacting with us all at the table. Once our meal was complete, our waitress took a picture of us and printed it so that we could take home! I’ll definitely be coming back to Samurai!

I am a hibachi afcionado. Rarely do I ever turn down the opportuniy for a cheesy knife show and some delicious hibachi shrimp and steak. Samurai is some of the best hibachi in Florida. That’s right, Florida, not just Miami! The Samurai shrimp sauce is the benchmark that I use to measure all shrimp sauces around the world! So far, no one has beat out Samurai! The only reason I won’t rank them higher worldwide is that they no longer have fire at the table… come on now! Honestly, go for the food, but take some patience with you. The wait time can be very trying. It doesn’t matter what night of the week you are going because the Benihana birthday coupon is now only good M-Thurs and Samurai does not take any reservations. This can make the waiting/bar area quite a bit warm and overcrowded. They recently underwent an extensive renovation that has helped, but it is still overwhelming. Every other Benihana restaurant takes reservations — I wish Samurai would start following the practice as well(at least call ahead seating a la Outback). So why put up with the aggravation? It’s the Food, silly! It’s all good! Every dinner is a 5 course meal with soup, salad with ginger dressing, shrimp appetizer, vegetables and your entrée. Lots and lots of food! As a nice change, there is also no sharing fee at Samurai and my son and I usually split a dish and still take quite a bit home. The chicken fried rice is a side dish, but I love combining the two! The chefs can go a bit heavy on the garlic butter, but they will go light if asked and it tastes just as good — I promise! If you go at lunch the prices are much better and the portions are a bit smaller, but always filling. Their sushi is pretty fresh, if not very imaginative. Good options if you have those at the table that are more health conscious but still want to be a part pf the group experience! My one word of caution is that the red wine is sometimes hot — not warm, hot. It’s happened to me more than once. I don’t know where they store it, but is definitely a problem. In contrast, the beer is always very cold and served in frosty glasses. I’m going to stick to the Sapporo and Sake, thank you very much! Samurai, can’t wait to see u again soon :)*
