Power Pizzeria

Probably the worst pizza I have ever had, tasted like they took freezer Pizza possible and added frozen toppings to it and then forgot to heat it up.

We ordered for pick up through Unilocal.We were very happy that it was ready in about 15 minutes. When my husband walked in they had the order waiting and it had been made correctly.
The cheese sticks are good, although I’d prefer more crunch. They came with one small container of marinara that obviously is not enough for all those cheese sticks — I highly recommend ordering extra marinara for those.
The pizza was better than we had expected. It’s not a gourmet wood fired pizza but it definitely rivals the chain pizza places and is healthier.
Overall, a solid chain pizza option with a healthy twist that is fast means we will go back one day.

This concept is different! I love pizza so since i read good reviews on Unilocal,I decided to give it a go.
Arrived at the no frills location, their small pizza place with a few basic tables and a very small TV. Definitely this joint best for takeout.
Ordered the extra large Protein Delight with the whole wheat crust. Brought it home, promptly removing two slices for each of us. Put the rest in the oven to keep warm. Wow good flavor! Crazily packed with Sausage, Canadian bacon, bacon, and meatballs, it was a rich pizza! The flavors bursting full of and only richer as you chew tasting more of that reduced fat mozzarella and whole wheat crust! The quality ingredients shine for those wanting a healthier alternative, check out their website!
All in all each slice was so rich, that I only could eat 3 slices (normally eat 4 or 5 slices from other pizza joints with no big deal). It was good and nicely filling! This due to the protein whey in the crust and healthier ingredients. I did not feel bloated or tired afterward!
A good place to have good pizza with a lot less guilt.

This place was great in every sense.
Nice menu (missed antipasto salad) options. Good phone interaction.
The order arrived at the door. On time.
The box seemed small and I asked if that was the extra large. It was not. The driver helped contact the store and get the right pie ordered.
I went inside with the wrong pizza and saw the toppings were wrong, too. I called the store. Steve kindly assured they corrected their mistake, the (right) pizza was already made and in the oven.
It arrived very quickly.
All the food was good. Service was superior. Power Pizza will be repeated!

I ordered baked chicken wings (I know, fried is better but I’m trying to be «healthy») and they were delicious. On top of actually being nice and crispy, they were delivered quickly to my home. I also ordered cookies… eh they were okay.

Don’t answer the phone and stand inside saying that they’re closed since midnight. The hours listed say they’re open another hour. Won’t attempt to eat again.

I have been going to Power Pizzeria ever since it opened up and was named Pizza Power. I would go after school, after tennis, during the weekends and order in at least three times a week. Now, about 5+ years later, I still come here about 3 times a week.
The staff: they are all very nice and catering. They really listen to what you want and do a great job both at the front with taking orders and answering the phones as well as those in the back making the food. You can tell that the staff has a good relationship with each other as they all work very well together.
My orders: I normally get the power salad with house vinaigrette (something I crave every week), the penne pasta with alfredo sauce (I also crave this all the time) and the BBQ chicken wings. Every so often, I will order a slice of pizza and I never leave feeling too full. The pizza is not greasy at all whatsoever and it tastes healthy!
Overall, I have never been let down after many years of coming here and I hope that nothing ever changes!

After reading the reviews, and hungry from a long day at the beach, I was ready to try some Power Pizza. I barely got through 2 slices. I gave up. For a place that boasts that the «power is in the dough», I was stunned at receiving a tasteless, cardboard like crust lurking under amazingly lifeless toppings. No, seriously, the crust had no taste whatsoever. As a Newyawka, I know pizza. I’ve found decent pizza in Georgia, of all places. But Power Pizza, like the Town Kitchen around the corner, somehow manages to create dough with no sweetness, no saltiness, no zest. We would’ve been better going to a national chain. Very disappointed.

As a native New Yorker, I am very skeptical of pizza outside of the tri-​state area. I tried this place tonight with my friends, also native New Yorkers, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The menu bar boasts it’s calories by the slice, and compares it to a much more fattening slice of dominos or Pizza Hut. After being disappointed by many pizza places thus far in the Coral Gables area, Power Pizzeria has proven to be above standard. Keep it up.

Great quality «healthy» pizza and reasonable plus they deliever!!!

I don’t know if this particular store changed owners, but it’s definitely different from the others 1). It did not have the turkey meatballs I usually get, 2). the meatballs they did have were a lot smaller and it only had 3 meatballs for $ 5.50 versus the other stores have 4 large meatballs for $ 4.45. The South Miami Store was the best but now between the increase in prices and not so great service, it’s not great. I won’t be going back.

I have been a regular at Power Pizza ever since they opened, years ago. The pizza is good, l like their garlic rolls and love the chocolate chip cookies. The staff is great and remembers what I like to eat. Great place to sit down, grab a bite to eat and if time permits, spend hours catching up with a friend. It’s a hole in the wall with good pizza, good salads! (Delivery is good too!)

After waiting an hour and a half for delivery when we were quoted 50 minutes we called to see how much longer it would be. They then told us that no one could come deliver our food. Never again.

I am soo mad I didn’t try this place sooner. They have «real» chicken not that fat that you usually get when you order from a pizza place like Dom… lol. I always order delivery. it takes about an hour but it’s worth it. WAIT did I mention the cookies. oh yes!!! The bomb!

Power pizza impressed me, I wanna say this place being so small it blew my expectations off the wall !! Their pizza is New York styled in my opinion and isn’t anything but delicious !!!
I’ve had their pizza twice and no complains!
The staff is also very nice and knowledgeable !!
Whenever I crave pizza I will definitely order power pizza from now on !! YOU GUYS GAINED YOURSELVES A LONG TIME COSTUMER :)

Pizza isn’t known as the healthiest type food but I like to indulge here because their ingredients taste fresh, more natural and nutritious than some of the national Pizza chains.
I really like their Hawaiian and can eat as many slices as I want without feeling like I’ve eaten unhealthily. Plus they are open fairly late and deliver. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

The power stands for the power your jaw muscles will attain should you commit to eating this pizza on a regular basis. It’s that super-​chewy. Toppings are so-​so. Sauce is bland. Not a fan.

Ok you know how when you take a Vacation and you brought memorabilia back or wished you can just bring the entire destination back Well Power Pizza is 1 of my destination.
The Ziti speaks loud and powerful i come with chicken and meatballs that’s right both meats Oh yes there is a Alfredo Ziti plenty of chicken but not over board

Their spinach wraps, tomato basil pinwheels, and cookies are EVERYTHING! Delivery is fast and it’s awesome they’re open pretty late! We’ve had a few issues with delivery but we order them so often that we can overlook that :)

Never bad… Worth the wait to get your made to order pizza.

Delicious! So far I have only ordered the 4 cheese pizza on several occasions and nothing else, so I can’t really review the rest of the menu. The pizza is good. The crust is nice a crispy. The large is a little smaller than my last go-​to place (Pie Ducks) so I I would recommend getting the extra large. The delivery is quick. I love using the Eat 24 app to order from here. So convenient.

This is our go-​to option for pizza delivery. They use a special protein packed dough that is so delicious. The ingredients are always fresh and now you can get unlimited toppings! The baked chicken wings and wraps are also a must try. Also, the delivery is always pretty fast! Love power pizza!

Whenever I am in this area I always stop in here. Staff is never the same. Parking is free but limited sometimes you have to circle around a few times waiting for someone to leave. If I remember correctly the lunch special is 2 slices with a soda but for some reason lately it is just 2 slices and soda is extra. When I say 2 slices it is more like 4 slices. Pizza is delicious. Staff is hit or miss since apparently they have a big turn over. The salads here are yummy also. I did take off a star because sometimes the wait is ridiculous and this last time they served it to me in a pizza box instead of a plate when I was eating in. Kind of awkward. They also must have forgot my pepperoni and added it as an after thought because I had cooked pepperoni on a burned cheese pizza.

Cheese Pizza with garlic mushrooms basil was delicious! Good place for a late craving.

I’m new to Miami and wasn’t feeling up to cooking this past weekend, so I decided on a simple pie from a local pizza parlor. Had a large pepperoni and mushrooms pizza delivered and it was here in under 30 min, DELICIOUS, and reasonably priced, even if a tad salty. The person who took my order over the phone was friendly and courteous, as was the delivery man.
I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie (99¢) and it was heavenly: big, soft, almost melts in your mouth, and still very warm when it got here. I ate it very slowly LOL. Whatever else you get from Power Pizza (or Power Pizzeria, as it says on the pizza box), ensure you get that cookie!
My only niggles:
— There’s no pricing on their online menu. I had to call and that’s a little irritating. (I may have gotten a better deal if I’d had numbers to work with.)
— The website talks a lot about their «proprietary dough», so I was looking forward to a whole wheat crust, but it looked and tasted like regular thin pizza crust, albeit a fantastic regular crust that was head and shoulders above most of what’s out there (so I feel kinda bad mentioning it at all). Maybe one must specify one’s preference (though the website says all their pizzas are made with their special dough).
Again, great pizza. Maybe I’ll dine in someday, just to see the place and pick up a paper menu.

Very poor experience as a first time customer.
I placed an order for delivery about 45 minutes before closing and was informed 10 minutes later that they were short on drivers and wouldn’t be delivering anymore. About 5 minutes later when I read the text and responded that I would pick it up, they informed me that they were closing so a pick up wouldn’t be possible. Is this a joke?
I pay $ 30 for food that is prepared and then they just throw it away? I got my refund, but this is just ridiculous coming from a business that, no question, thrives on delivery in this Miami area. To not have drivers available is one thing, but to close on me when I decide to stomach the inconvenience, is simply poor business.
