My husband loves paella, and there’s a handful of places we would eat it at. I catered here based on Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed, possibly one of the best seafood paella’s we have had to date! Absolutely amazing, fresh, and was ready to be picked up on time. I defiantly recommend this hidden gem and will be returning.

The cod fish and seafood plate was excellently prepared. Must tell my friends to go there.

Nice hidden gem. My husband and I were driving around and looking for a new place. In the mood for seafood, we looked on Unilocal and Rincon Español came up with good revies. I said let’s try it. We of course got the sangria which was so refreshing. My husband got the mariscos paella which minimum order is for 2 and I got the solomillo with mushroom sauce. It was so tender I just kept eating it and the paella was so good and seafood was fresh. Service Was great, my Sangria Cup Was Always full. Very attentive.

Great food and great service! We tried more than seven different tapas and the paella all was incredible! The desserts we tried three different ones even better. Call ahead for a table to skip the wait we did on a Friday! Great neighborhood place, loved the convenience of a great dinner without going far.

Chorizo wonderful! Lamb chops and seafood grill the best ever! Service great! The only issue we had was way too much ice in the sangria.

If I was able to give a 0 star I would. I can’t comment on the food because we were told we couldn’t be seated at this time. Don’t mind the fact that there were only 10 people in the restaurant and about 8 – 9 tables available. The host came and asked us how many and when he saw that we had kids, we were turned away instantly. My wife and I both got the vibe instantly from the host that he didn’t want children in the restaurant. He was very standoffish when I asked how is it possible you can’t sit us if you have about 10 tables available around throughout the restaurant. He stated that the tables were reserved for the night(good one). Extremely inappropriate, out of place and I will never return to this place. I understand if they want to maintain a more adult vibe, completely understood. But you don’t make us feel like second class citizens because we like to take our kids to dinner with us on a Saturday night. Not cool. My $.02.

As usual it takes a couple of occasions for me to write a review, but … since day one this place has always been on point with the food and service. We had chorizo in wine sauce, the Gambas al ajillo(shrimp in garlic sauce), and Gazpacho which is a cold vegetable soup and they were all super flavorful. For the main course we had the lamb shank in its own gravy and rosemary sauce. Also the zarzuela the mariscos which is the Spanish version of Ciopino… an Italian seafood dish in a light tomato broth, for those craving seafood … a most ! In a different occasion we tried the fish special which was super light and incredibly tasty. I would recommend this place highly for service and food. Prices maybe a bit high on some dishes, but in General a new go to spot in the area. Thumbs up.

This place is a neighborhood gem. Very authentic Spanish food. Ordered jamon serano, croquetas de jamon y pollo, and both the seafood and chicken paella. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the crema catalana for dessert too!

Nice environment, I had the pulpo gallego and it was delicious. The Spanish tortilla was too dry. The crema Catalana was delicious. The food service was great, prompt. Overall a nice experience on our first visit to this restaurant.

Went in on a Friday evening, the place was moderately packed(lots of old folks) but nice ambience. Ordered the paella valenciana and the seafood parrillada. It took for ever to arrive on our table, but the end result was satisfying! Very fresh and very tasty! The wait staff is not the friendliest in Miami, but who cares as long as the food is good. I would probably come back.

This place is a little gem. I came here on the recommendation of a coworker and it did not disappoint. We only did croquetas and paella but both were amazing. We had the 3 kinds of croquetas: ham, Chicken and cod they were so good we got a second order while waiting for the paella(which takes 40 minutes). The Paella(for 2) is Huge!!! We had leftovers for both of us the next day. The seafood in the paella was fresh and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.

This is probably one of the worst Spanish restaurants that I’ve eaten at. Why??? Because: We had croquetas that were completely tasteless. The sautéed mushrooms had many dark spots. They really were on the edge of being spoiled. The tortilla was so old that it had turned to a green– grayish color. When I brought it to their attention, they ‘assured’ me it was made that same day. The sangria was ok, but not excellent. I don’t recommend this restaurant, not only because the food is not great tasting, but also because the food is not very fresh.

Extremely authentic Spanish fare… It is truly a gem in Miami to find such a complicated Menu and actually do it to perfection! You will feel that you are dining in The Northern Part Of Spain! Excellent Seafood, Excellent Service and you must try their home made desserts. You will remember my review. oh, I forgot about all the tapas ! Wow you must check their extensive selection.

Rincon has very good food and friendly service. I would give it 4 ½ stars. Our calamari al la plancha, gambas al ajillo, tortilla Espanola were incredible. We had a stew with Beans and claims that although not bad, was not to my taste. the sangria was not too sweet, just right. We were looking for Lebanese food next store But they had a bad atiitude, so we were lucky that we found Such a good restaurant, next to it. It is in a strip mall with plently of parking.

Went to have dinner last night. The restaurant is a very typical Spanish restaurant nothing modern or special. The service was mediocre at best and the wait time for food was much longer than it should have been, especially since the restaurant was not full. I was disappointed when I asked about the croquettas and found out that the ham one was not jamon serrano. The food however was pretty good. Not the best Spanish good I’ve eaten but not the worse. I ordered the creamy vegetable soup which was my favorite of the night. Also ordered the sepia and the seafood grilled platter. The cod fish was the best on the platter. I ordered alioli sauce for the seafood platter and was charged $ 4.59 for the sauce!!! I thought that was ridiculous. Overall will not be returning but gave them three stars since the food was pretty good. There are much better restaurant choices in the area and if you’re looking for some good Spanish go to Xixon on coral way.

Authentic delicious home made Spanish cuisine! I’m going to skip the part where I say how I ended up coming to this restaurant… and ill go straight to the food, I had the most amazing croquetas de bacalao in a really long time, omg they where so yummy, crispy and fresh, served accompanied by a piece of green lime, just like in Spain. We ordered Paella Rincon for 2 and it was cooked to perfection, Spanish short grain rice not so soft not so hard, just the way I like it, moist in sauce, savory and the right amount of salt I don’t understand why restaurants insist in preparing food with low sodium like all clients are 75 years old I really get annoyed when I have to add salt to my food it so I loved it, good quantity of seafood and good portion for 2 people, I was full to the core. For desert we had crema catalana and it tasted absolutely delicious, dense and flavorful with a thick caramel crust YUMMY. Have to add that the service is outstanding, traditional old school waiters, and the owner of the restaurant was there and went to our table to greet us and ask how everything was, he is from Spain by the way, no wonder everything was so good! Will definitely go back soon.

We brought Los Yayos here for lunch and were a bit nervous about it. Yayo is 91 and Yaya is 85… born and raised in Barcelona, Spain… so for them to approve their cod dish alone deserves 5 stars. My husband and I ordered fideua. which is very similar to paella, but instead of rice, it’s noodles. This is by far the best I’ve ever had(even compared to the one we had in Madrid). I am sad we could not make a second visit to this restaurant! The seafood was all perfectly cooked and tender. The lobster was a nice addition.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while meaning years and now, I regret not going sooner! This was probably the most delicious Spanish meal I’ve had in years! The place is very small, very quaint and extremely understated. We were greeted at the door and sat down very quickly. The menu is pretty extensive with tapas(appetizers) and meals including fish, chicken, beef, lamb and other tidbits. There is even a vegetarian paella! GRACE!(My only vegetarian friend) we are going here with your mom soon!!! We started with the croquettas. Now I’m Cuban so I know a good croquetta but these were probably the best croquettas I’ve ever had in Miami! They are about half the size of the Cuban kind but they serve you 8 which is about 4 Cubans. delish! Little pockets of crispy on the outside creamy on the inside goodness. We both had the house white wine. I can’t even remember the name but it was Spanish and Galician(my people!) YUM! I’m only going to speak for my meal and I had the zarzuela de mariscos with white rice. The seasoning was spot on and the broth was so tasty that I ate waaaay more than I should have because I practically ROLLED out the door. The other meal was a steak that was medium and I can describe it in one way. If you have ever seen the Matrix, there is a part when the bald guy takes a bite out of an amazing piece of meat that was perfectly juicy and pink the whole way through. THIS was that steak! For dessert we had the crema catalana. I’m pretty picky about this and well it was really good. Creamy, buttery and not too sweet. This was right on par with other great ones I’ve had in the past but ranks up there in the top 3. Overall, it was a delicious meal! It wasn’t cheap but the portions were really good, no skimping. Even the glass of wine was full and it wasn’t a small glass. The appetizer, the wine, the two dinners and dessert cost $ 100.00 including a 20% tip and we had leftovers. Yes it is expensive but if you are like me, you don’t mind spending a little more for great service, large portions of delicious food(every bite) and a calm soothing environment. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will return soon!

Well I’ve never been to Spain, but I’ve been to the Rincon Español in Pinecrest in Miami and my taste buds were trying to convince me that I was in Barcelona or Gijon. I grew up eating a lot of this style food since my Dad is from Spain so it really brought me back and baby this stuff is AUTHENTIC! Las Sopas(soups) were awesome, la Fabada, & Caldo Gallego were spot on great & tasty! The salad was fresh and crispy(take that for granted sometimes). Bread was fresh, warm and served with some funky spicy delicious butter. I had the Spanish version of chicken marsala and it was sooooo good that I’m getting hungry while typing. If you’re coming here for the first time the Tapas are the way to go, the taste sensations will take you all over the Iberian peninsula and leave you wanting more. I rolled out of here full & smiling! The place is a bit pricy just so that your not surprised and parking can be an issue in this Pinecrest plaza but they have roof top parking that usually has open spots. The service was great! Attentive(it’s a small place maybe 10⁄12 tables). My palate really enjoyed the trip, now I just have to take some time and actually get the rest of me to España! Loved it! I need to get back here soon!
