Simply put, YUM! It’s been years since I ate here, but it was my favorite place to go with my now-husband when we were in college! It has lovely ambience, is located in Coconut Grove but a little off the beaten path so it’s not as loud or crowded as other nearby restaurants, and it’s good Italian food(which is hard to find in Miami!). My favorite dish here was always the gnocchi rosati… but my mother loved the piccata, and I’m pretty sure that you would do okay with pretty much anything on their menu! Why not give it five stars? Well, the service was a little bit sketchy sometimes… mostly because our waitress was always the girlfriend of the owner and she was a bit nutty! The other reason this isn’t a five-star review is because they don’t have wheelchair access, which I think is shameful. But, provided you’re able-bodied, next time you’re in Coral Gables, Florida, check this place out!
