Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nibbles, and what an incredible culinary experience it was. Chef Maria is genius in her preparation of cuisine excellence. The pork cheeks and Morrocan style chicken was incredible. My companion and I are plan to be regulars at this hidden treasure. Great food, exceptional service, and the perfect atmosphere. WOW!

Dinner was delicious! We had the Bibb Salad and the Pork Cheek. It was very good! The meat was so tender, like a great roast. The corn pudding was amazing as were the green beans. My husband had the steak with sweet potatoes. We also had wine with our dinner. Everything tasted wonderful. The setting was quaint and homey. Although it was tight quarters at times, we loved it. If you are looking for truly amazing food in a unique setting, this is the place!

Went down for the first night of Menu #9, ordered all of the small plates/non-entrees…AWESOME. My wife told chef she thought the Zesty Sausage & Feta Dip was salty, but I thought it was all just wonderful. And chef worried the Gumbo was too spicy, but it was the best gumbo I’ve ever had(and I lived on the gulf for a while), I absolutely loved it. The Pork Belly, the Fish Ribs, Foie Gras BLT, the Bibb salad… everything was just perfectly executed. Also can’t say enough about the entire staff, especially Brigett(hope I got that right) who always takes such good care of us. Every question… regarding drinks, preparation, even plating… are answered without feeling like you have imposed. It’s foodie heaven. Can’t wait to go back and start sampling the entries. Oh! And the Fresh Apple Galette… nom nom nom…8P

Definitely make reservations. One of the smallest restaurants I’ve ever been in and no comfortable place to wait. We had reservations and were initially very disappointed in the table we were giving being as tight as it was squeezed in a high traffic area right outside the ladies room door until we realized that with all being said we had what was arguably the second best table in the house. As far as the food and drink is concerned it met and or exceeded our expectations. My wife’s wine was excellent and other than the fact it took the bartender 10 minutes(seemed like an hour) to make my cocktail it was very good. The appetizer, salad and entrees were outstanding. I had the Monk Fish and wife had the short ribs. Both cooked to perfection and the portion size quite generous. So satisfying unfortunately we didn’t have room to sample their deserts. Not a 5 star review(Dayton doesn’t have a 5 star restaurant) but a good solid 4 earned by the quality of food. I recommend Nibbles highly.

We went for Valentine’s Day. I liked the atmosphere, but it was packed, as expected. Seating was arranged too tightly for the waitresses to make it to all the tables without continuously bumping into the diners. The lady sitting next to us was getting annoyed. Diners would have to scoot in their chairs for the waiter to squeeze through. The food was good, but none of it was hot with the exception of the tomato and cheese bruschetta appetizer. I had the petite filet ordered medium to medium rare. It was definitely served rare and barely warm in the center. It wasn’t warm enough to melt the seasoned butter on the top. The sweet potato side was a little runny. The desert course was a pear crêpe. Again, mine was at best warm, and my guest’s crêpe was still cold in places. There was no offer for coffee with desert. Add a glass of wine, two cocktails, and a tip and the bill was just at $ 150.00. It wasn’t worth that. I will probably go back one more time to give them a chance on a normal day. I wouldn’t go on Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day at Nibbles, a very quaint and romantic historic house transformed into a restaurant in 2015. My girlfriend and I were greeted graciously by the hostess and taken to our table. Our waitress was Heather. She was excellent and provided excellent service. My review of the food is not as complimentary as the service and ambiance. I will begin with the Bruchetta. It was very flavorful and excellent. The sweet bread was also very good. Our entrees were pasta primavera and the pork shank. Both were disappointing. The pork was charred and not very tender. The fig taste was bland and barely discernible. The pasta was very bland with little or no flavor. The desserts were a crêpe with pear that seemed to lack sweetness and the chocolate crème brûlée that was fairly tasty. Overall, the food lacked the taste that I expected from a top trained chef. The cocktails were excellent! We will try it again on a regular business day. Dr Jeff

We have been looking forward to trying this place since it opened. We have many friends that rave about it. Restaurant week gave us the nudge we needed to get down here. They are located in an old two story house downtown in Miamisburg. They did a very nice job making it a restaurant but keeping that homelike feel. It felt like we were having dinner with a bunch of friends at someone’s house. We liked that. They have a nice selection of wines. We saw several we wanted to try. We found the pricing to be reasonable compared to comparable restaurants. They do also sell by the glass and that selection was decent as well. They also offer cocktails. The dinner menu was very nice for restaurant week. We chose the wedding soup for our first course. They also offered a garden salad. The soup was good, we both found ourselves looking for salt and pepper. They don’t offer either. I’m sure if you ask they will provide it, but I bet they would also be insulted. Everyones taste is different which is why I never understand the omission of those popular table items. Four our second course my wife chose the Chicken Marsala and I chose the Short Ribs with polenta and roast carrots. Both were very nicely put together very enjoyable. I had the leftovers for lunch the next day and they seemed even better.(could have been my salt and pepper shakers doing) haha The third and final course was dessert. Both choices were amazing! Budino Di Cioccolato (creamy bittersweet chocolate, Bourbon, pinch of cayenne, whipped cream) and Tiramisu (ladyfingers drenched in espresso, Kahlua and rum, layered with whipped cream and mascarpone crème). Overall this was a very good experience. We would definitely return. Give them a try. Make a reservation.

Nibbles is a true culinary gem and well worth the drive to Miamisburg! Maria’s dishes are absolutely delicious and creative. The menu is constantly changing so you are always due for a special treat and the choices allow you to explore new foods that you may not have experienced before. The restaurant is intimate and warm and the entire staff, particularly Maria the owner/chef, are inviting and friendly. We love sharing this special place with family, friends and co-workers. Every meal has been amazing!

Resto pour la bon vivante! Top quality food and drink one can assured to be served at this small but mighty establishment. Had a wonderful meal this evening and everything was great. Beet salad, butternut squash soup, and duck were all excellent. Wine choices were plentiful In both whites and reds and were excellent offerings. Expect to spend a bit more for their menu items but you will definitely get your money’s worth in quality.

Excellent food, service, and décor. I enjoyed the mozzarella cheese and heirloom tomato and balsamic drizzle salad. So tasty! The albondigas with fresh basil were equally wonderful. I finished the evening with their tasty Key Lime pie and a glass of Limoncello. The owner came out to chat with me at the end of my meal to ask how my experience had been. They are currently open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings only. But that will be changing later in the year; they will be adding a Friday lunch service. I highly recommend Nibbles.

A treat & too good to be kept a secret. I am a picky eater & they spare no quality in accommodating. The food is healthy, fresh & unique. The atmosphere is warm & inviting. The staff was so nice & Chef Maria is beyond friendly & look forward to returning to try the new menus. As a local business owner myself, I love to share awareness of newer businesses that so deserve to be recognized. One of my new favorites! Kathy A.

We were visiting a friend in Dayton for the weekend and she made a point of taking us to Nibbles for a Friday night dinner. We were so happy she did. Everything about the meal(and cocktails… and wine!) was fantastic. Chef Maria was super friendly and made some amazing, varied dishes(pasta, snapper, lamb, Coca-Cola Braised Pork Cheek!, etc.). Everyone at the table ordered something different and we all tried one another’s and all came away with different favorites. Pretty good sign of quality right there.

Simply amazing… Dayton area needs more places like this! Great drinks, delicious food, terrific service(super friendly staff) and intimate atmosphere. Menu changes every 6 weeks or so, which always gives you a reason to come back and try something new. Highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back.
