I want a custom cake for my friend and there really did exactly what I want. The people there is very friendly I spend a lot of time talking with a Mexican guy who work there and was very friendly. The cake was chocolate with dunce de leche. Was gorgeous!

Baked goods included cookies and bread. Mexican wedding cookies were yummy. All other cookies: pink Mexican sugar cookies, snicker doodles and peanut butter were mediocre. They do serve locally roasted coffee.

Michigan City, IN

a great local bakery in Northwest Indiana featuring maple bacon cookies. Yes, I said BACON and maple. This is a local family-owned and operated establishment. So, they are sure to put out some good food. They recently moved to a new and larger area.
I am expecting finer things from them.

spent a few days in michigan city, and this place was a great find. unbelievable snickerdoodles. coffee was fresh. service was very friendly. now i only wish they had a few tables outside…

Great little shop for the area. Features locally roasted coffee and Chicago sourced tea. It appears to be family owned and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about what he serves.
All coffee is made with the pour over method, creating a rich, smooth and flavorful cup. At $ 1.50 for a small, the prices were great too.
Definitely stop in if you need a pick me up from the outlets.
