Love Ruggieri’s! The menu offers a huge variety of options; I’ve yet to have something I didn’t like!
Must try: the homemade meatballs, ANY of the grilled cheese sandwiches, and of course, the pizza! Additionally, the staff is extremely friendly & knowledgable.

Excellent pizza. I’ve tried all places in the area and they’re the best!

I live down the street and got delivery on 2÷28÷16. Whats clear is that they suffer from a lack of consistency. My family and I have ordered from them several times and its hit or miss at best.
Last night, we ordered a few pizzas, a grill chicken salad and french fries. They forgot the salad in the delivery, which was not a big deal. After I called to let them know that, they brought a new one. While on the phone, I let the person know that the fries were definitely old and possibly fried twice. She agreed to send me a new fry. The new one was as bad as the old and the grilled chicken salad was definitely more than 2 days old including the chicken unless its prepackaged chicken, the quartered tomatoes were old and shriveled with their centers missing. The pizza was disheveled as it appears it was bounced around. The cheese slid off the crust almost completely. I took one look at it and threw it all in the trash. It belonged there.
When cooking food at a restaurant, its good to live by one rule. If you wouldn’t eat it, should your customer? I would bet $ 100 that John wouldn’t eat any of the food that I was sent.
Although we have had great roast beef and chicken parm here, the experience I had last night will push me to using one of the other 10 sub shops in my immediate area.
Small business must toe the line when dealing with quality and efficiency. Its apparent that this is a lesson that Ruggieri’s hasn’t figured out the secret sauce yet.

this sub shop is AWESOME, and honestly has way better food than most restaurants ! I am a frequent flyer here, the service is great, everyone is friendly, and the food is bomb.
I’ve had salads, upscale grilled cheese’s, subs, pizza, you really can’t go wrong with anything. Their homemade braided rolls are sooo good. I am super picky with meatballs as I am Italian and nothing touches my nana’s but Ruggieri’s meatballs are SO yummy !
Stop in, say hello, and try anything you won’t be disappointed !

Live down the street tried for the first time tonight. We ordered roast beef sandwiches with fries and a rice ball. Everything was delicious! Hot when it arrived, crunchy fries. The roast beef was nice and rare and the portions were generous! Will definitely order again!

I just got the worst takeout salad ever from this place. Wilted yellowing lettuce, cubes of feta, non ripe tomatoes — even the roll that came with it was tasteless. The salad could not have been just made. It must have been hanging around in the fridge. Total disappointment.

We visited on Saturday for lunch. The food was homemade and high quality. We had chicken cutlet subs on a braided sub roll for $ 7.25 each. This place was a good value with good choices.

I stopped in for the first time today and got an Italian sub. It seems they focus on Italian foods here so I thought this would be a great choice. The service was fine and efficient. I selected the braided role which was a pretty good choice. Unfortunately the cold cuts let the sandwich down. The roll is fairly large but they only put in a very thin layer of cold cuts so the ratio of bread to cold cuts was way off. In addition, I don’t think these are Boar’s Head, Dietz, or similar. They seem to be on par with chain sub shop cold cuts. The price on the other hand was on par with a premium sandwich shop.

Nice clean place. Friendly atmosphere great food, good portions.

This place is BOMB!
They’re on a different level than most sub-​shops. Everything is made from scratch. Seriously, even the braided roll that your sandwich comes on is made in house and is fantastic.
Their meatball sub is just absurdly good. Best I’ve ever had anywhere.
Chicken parm sub is so much better than you’ll get anywhere else.
Also, their specialty sandwiches are as close to fine art as a sandwich can get. Try the Venice or the Pompei. Unreal. seriously.
Their menu is so extensive, and although I am a huge fan of Roast Beefs, I hardly ever get that here, as their menu is worth exploration!
The owner is really friendly and he just goes all out with everything. They even have outdoor seating and homemade cookies. Ruggieri’s is a hidden gem!!!

Tried the roast beef when I was in town. One of the best I have ever had since I moved up to new england from philly. Place is clean and they are friendly. Definitely will go again!

I have only tried a few different items here, and that’s all I needed.
They have a jalapeño panini that is so unbelievably delicious I have to close my eyes while driving past the restaurant. They also have rice ball things, I believe called Anarchini. I may be spelling that incorrectly, but all you need to do is say rice balls and they understand. They have 2 types, meat or spinach. I’ve only tried spinach but I’ve heard the meat is just as good.
Moderately priced and the food is good.
However, the only thing I didn’t really enjoy was their roast beef, but I think it’s just my preference, because everyone else I talk to tell me I’m crazy because they love it.
So I may just be insane on the roast beef aspect.
I still go here regularly though. I’ve heard they are famous for their seafood although I haven’t tried it yet, I would love to see a review on the seafood though.
Also they are the quickest delivery on the planet. By the time I hang up I have my dog barking alerting me that my food had arrived.
Keep it up guys!

Roast beef is tough and was RAW, hence the chewiness. They seem unorganized

I just had what’s possibly the worst pastrami sandwich ever. The sandwich was totally dripping, the bread was so soaked, and it tasted like it was overdosed with the salt shaker. I know that it’s Christmas eve day and these guys probably wanted to go home however is no excuse to serve a sandwich like that.

Normally when we get food here it’s excellent. But last night 12÷12÷14 we got a cheese steak that was burnt, dry & salty.
The portion was smaller than usual.
The fries as usual were done to perfection.
I’m sure (hope) this was an anomaly.
Fries kept it from being just two stars.

We called & a very happy man answered the phone. We ordered the Turkey plate for my hudband as it is always awesome. I wanted a fried shrimp wrap but they were cutting down on the seafood that was available. He suggested the baked haddock with bread crumbs. O my it was so delicious! Cooked perfect! Usually when you order baked seafood delivered is over cooked. This was melt in your mouth, don’t need any condiments, taste buds were so happy! The buffalo chicken was so tender & yummy! Bonus was it was delivered in less than a half hour! Ruggieri’s Rocks!!!

Great place! For lunch or dinner, highly recommended. The owner John is always there, preparing, cooking, managing and ensuring his customers enjoy the food. We’ve been there on more than a few occasions. Great pizza, awesome roast beef, real roasted & carved turkey, rice balls! My wife loved the Chicken broccoli Ziti. Perfect and fresh salads, did I mention rice balls! We always an order of rice balls! There awesome

Got a Roast Beef Sandwich.
The cheese they gave me was a bit too sharp for roast beef IMHO.
Also, some employees seem to not have not yet mastered their computer system.
Despite these two things, I’m giving them 5 stars because the Roast Beef was so good, the atmosphere was awesome and they were SOO nice!
Next time I’m asking for American Cheese.

I accidentally stopped by on the day they opened, and while there were a few «we just opened kinks and mishaps» they did anything and everything to make things right.
I initially received the wrong meal, then when they gave me my daughters kids meal, they forgot the fries. Not a big deal, it’s opening day, they are busy, I can accept that. They quickly gave us an oversized order of fries to fix the error. The service was friendly, the portions were generous, the food was delicious.
I’ve since been back twice. All three times, the owner has come out to greet myself and others and he genuinely wants to know how we like our good and if there are things he can do to make it better. So far there is nothing to change! I love it!

My second time here was much much better. First off, let me explain that the previous review was just my honest opinion, and that it wasn’t meant to «Bash» anyone, and I hope that it did not come off that way.
Second time around I got the Turkey dinner, roast beef and fries. Everything was delicious. Roast beef was delicious and was not dry. Sides were good as well.
The turkey dinner was excellent as well. None of the sides were cold and everything was great.
I said I would come back and did not believe the food was going to remain like the previous time I went. I will certainly be back!
