I just came here yesterday with my sister for an early dinner. I’ve been meaning to try this place for quite some time. It’s part of the chain of restaurants on the corner of Wickham and Wisner that seem to share management and staff. When we first arrived, a staff member over at Planet Wings came over to help us. We both ordered the double burger, I ordered mine with cheese, grilled onions and lettuce and we shared an order of fries. Good Lord, the burgers were huge! A single burger would have been more than enough, and the fries were more than enough for the two of us to share. While ackward to eat, the burger was delicious, the meat is always fresh, never frozen here(it’s their motto) and it tasted like there was some seasoning in the meat. Very tender and tasty. The fries were like fries at the boardwalk on the beach, with skins still attached. A little too salty for me, but very good, and cooked perfectly. For the two double burgers, one order of fries and a shared soda, it was about $ 18, which isn’t too bad considering the size of the burgers. Definetely more satfisying than McDonalds!
