D’angelo Sandwich Shop

This sub spot is perfection! Their subs are very tasty! I was visiting from out of town and landed this delicious sub zone! I will definitely come here again when I return to RI. Highly recommend it! Fresh, delicious, and healthy ingredients.

Well I usually go to subway but I was craving a thanksgiving sandwich so I tried it here. I haven’t had d’angelos in probably about ten years and I remembered it being good but It was disappointing this time. The place itself is super clean and neat. The staff were very nice. They were welcoming and answered all my questions. It’s just the food was blah and kind of pricey for what it is. It’s eight dollars for a medium sandwich. I can get a foot long sandwich at subway for six. I found the bread to be kind of tough and not very fresh. The sandwich itself was made quickly and served hot but it lacked flavor. I can’t think of any other word but blah. I didn’t even finish it which is rare for me. I am thinking I will try another kind of sandwich there for lunch and maybe it will be better before I give up on this place.

Except for being so whetted to the Red Sox, this is by far one of the best grinder places I have ever eaten.
They have relocated since my student days and the new location seems to serve them well. The décor seems about the same but I noticed they have improved their production processes, putting out orders much faster than what I recall from the past.
The lobster Bisque was tasty and well prepared. And the number 9 steak… well who could possibly not like that!
I’ll definitely remain a repeat customer here.

This place is exactly what you would expect from a D’Angelos. Sandwich was made to my specifications, and tasted the same as I would get from any other store in the chain.

I think all D’Angelo’s sandwiches taste the same, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. DA Bomb is great, I love it. It’s a vegetarian’s worst nightmare.

Had the Thanksgiving sandwich. It was tasty.

Fair sandwich shop. Staff was great, the Steak and Cheese was standard. Prices are on the high side of fair.
