The only place in midland to country dance. Great environment. Lines at bar are a little slow but fun regardless.

Crowded, smoky, young crowd and not a great place to just dance the night away. If I were younger and just looking to get drunk and laugh with friends, this might be my spot. If you are a dancer and looking for some 2-step partners, you will stand around a lot, get your toes stepped on when attempting to dance and go home wreaking of cigarette smoke.
Had to give it 3 stars though because if I was 20 — 30 and didn’t know how to dance, I would likely love this place!

I moved to Odessa over a year ago and had yet to venture into the two stepping world… so, what better way to spend a Saturday night than at Rockin Rodeo! Had such a blast here!
Pros:
–Fun, boot scootin’ time (mainly because of the great partner lead I had, thanks random guy who made my night!)
–I never felt scared for my safety
–The bartenders were nice
–Cute little coat rack at the front where the cops stand… so cute
Cons:
–People get elbowing me on the dance floor, but what’s new?
–Bathrooms are disgusting
–Drinks are extremely watered down… boooooo

this place use to be The Ranch, which is a place i would never go. Now it has a new owner, who is awesome, and a great new staff! the bartenders are really good except for one who is just rude. they have concerts every thursday night and something fun going on each night! i love to go here and wouldn’t go anywhere else in midland!
