They used to have a full espresso bar here but have since discontinued it. They did have regular coffee last time I checked, just don’t go expecting lattes. The sandwiches and chopped salads are pretty good and I love the fruity pebble rice Krispy treats!

Smiling Moose has turned me into a smiling cow! Until I found the long hair in my wrap. Things happen. But, but… Yeah.(Sigh) the woman totally made it right so I am very happy. Other than that experience, it was pretty good stuff! I had the Hi-Thai wrap. I think it could use maybe a touch more dressing but over all satisfying. Minus the, you know…

I have mixed feelings about this place. If I lived in Midland with somewhat limited dining options I would probably eat here quite often but I do feel there is room for improvement. I ordered a large southwest Mo. At first I thought the price seemed a high but it was well worth it considering how large the sandwich was. My favorite part of the sandwich is the taste of the meat. So good. Also, the soft bread goes great with the meat. I could see that being quite addicting. The toppings were less impressive. The sweet tasting pickled jalapenos are ok but not really my thing. Overall, I’d say this didn’t really leave an impression of «southwest» flavor. Not spicy at all. I saw some Cholula hot sauce on the counter but what i think this place really needs are some custom sauces like chipotle mayo that one could add to their Mo. The only major issue I had here was the service. Apparently, on Wednesday you get a free cookie with your Mighty Mo. The employee didn’t tell me that. More importantly, it took a while to get our food and it didn’t all come out at once. There was a couple waiting when we arrived and 2 in our party got their food before the couple and then the other two in our party didn’t get their food until 7+ minutes later. Overall, I like the concept I think it works well in a small town like Midland. I don’t think they would survive in Dallas without some operational improvements.

Great sandwiches and quick service. Good typical and atypical selections to choose from. Not your average sandwich shop, much better. Will go back to try something new.

The hot turkey club with easy tomatoes and no onions is my favorite sandwich in Midland. I have never had a bad experience at smiling moose. They give free cookies with the purchase of a large sandwich during lunch.

I really enjoyed this place during my visit to Midland, TX. I had the original Mo and swapped banana peppers for cowboy pickles. Totally exceeded my expectations. I also had a cup of their green chili it was spicy, full of pork and very delicious. I noticed they had a build your own salad option too with many choices. However should I ever be back in not sure I could pass up the original Mo. Service was friendly and timely as well.

Very friendly and fast service. They have lots of different types of sandwiches, from hot to cold, and they also have a build your own. I have been here a few times since moving to Midland. The place always has people eating there and it is very clean. The food is decent prices for what they give you. Would not call them small sandwiches but they are not huge either.

After ordering I knew I was going to be in for an average experience. I noticed the lack of professionalism and knowledge of the menu. The quality of ingredients are poor and as well as how little they put on your sandwich. If I wanted a poorly made sandwich I would have gone to subway. For the amount you pay for it, the quality of product isn’t returned.

I returned here on 8.11 for lunch. They moved the crowd through expediently without sacrificing service or quality. Great Ty Cobb Salad. This place is better then it’s sister location in Wyoming.

Had the Perfect Pair with ½ of the Bayou Chicken sandwich and Spicy Chicken Enchilada soup. The sandwich was good, I wish they would have toasted the bread being a «hot sandwich», but the soup is pretty good. My boyfriend had the Hot Turkey Club sandwich and it was delicious! Next time I come I’ll definitely try the Chopped Salad by creating my own. They have a good selection of veggies to choose from. :))

Since I have been working n town. I have had a great opportunity to come in for lunch. It’s a great way to keep your diet going. Don’t get me wrong you can ruin it also. But they have a lot of choices. From sandwiches to salads to desserts. I have learned one thing since coming here during lunch. Get here early. Apparently i’m not the only person who like this place. This place is clean and the food is delicious. You can get a half salad and soup or sandwich. This place also allows you to make your own wrap. So many great choices. I started having the turkey bacon sandwich with pesto and feta. A little different. But when they let you reinvent things why not. I’ve stayed away from their sweets. But the brownie has been calling my name for a while. The bad part about lunch is that if you don’t get there early you start smelling all the desserts and you want to buy one or two. I have not been here for dinner but it would be good for hot day. I highly recommend this place if you like great tasting food and trying to eat a bit healthy.

Great breakfast sandwiches! I’ve been here for lunch and bfast and it’s equally as good. I love that I can create my own salad and have a healthier meal. I can’t resist a smiling moose bfast sandwich on a Saturday morning. Try it!

Been here so many times – it’s a family & work-lunch-break fav! If I’m by myself I can sit at the bar by the window & read, or with a group at a table. It’s pretty popular & can get noisy during lunch & dinner, but it can be nice & fairly quiet in-between those times, it just depends what time you come. As an ovo-lacto-vegetarian, there are plenty of choices(Hippy Chick-Pea, garden burger patty, etc). I also liked getting chips & a cookie/brownie occasionally. I like the teas(green tea, other fruity teas [pomegranite?], etc). There is some outdoor seating, but in Midland it’s usually too windy to sit outside!

One of my favorite places in Midland. Great options for gluten free! Sandwiches are terrific, but go for the salads! Quality is amazing! And the service is good, too.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Midland. They have great food that’s always been very consistent for me. I’ve ordered several sandwiches, salad and soups. All have been great. My favorite is the Harvest Salad(sub the onions with feta cheese) and the hot turkey bacon sandwich. Definitely go here if you want some healthier options and some tasty food!
