Had dinner on Tuesday with the family for our Anniversary. We did wait about 5 minutes for a table, perfectly normal if you ask me. The food was good and the service was fast. My steak was cooked perfect, as was my wife’s. The kiddos food was on point as well. Even for a weekday this place was busy. I noticed lots of employees running around, waiters, bus boys, managers. Good to see them all working. I’m not sure when, but the rolls got smaller. It’s fine as we got ours refilled without asking but just struck me odd that they are littler than the diamond shapes I remember in the past. Other then That, Keep up the good work!

The wait wasn’t to long, but we called ahead and i recommend doing so because they are usually busy. They had really good steak descent bar and a great kid’s menu a good variety for the kid’s:) our server was really nice and didn’t pester but was also attentive, over all a good experience!

I go here often. The is always good, solid. It isn’t a 5 star restaurant in terms of menu, but it is delivered exactly as advertised. The meats are very good, best salads in town and the beer is fresh and cold. If you want a good meal that is what-you-see-is-what-you-get then this is the place. Have a beer and a steak and you will be happy. Also, the people are great !

Ate lunch here again with my brother on my most recent visit to Midland. This was my first bad experience. Ordered the same Ft. Worth cut Rib Eye(10oz) that I always order. This steak was tough and had no seasoning at all. Disappointed. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. This was one of our favorite places to visit.

Every single restaurant in Midland, TX is always crazy pack. My boyfriend and are spending Thanksgiving in different states this year so we decided to go out to eat knowing the wait would be outrageous.(it was also a Saturday) We decided to call ahead of time to put our names down and they say it would be about an hour. We arrived 30 minutes after we called and it was extremely busy. The atmosphere was rowdy and loud. I enjoyed the barrel full of free salted peanuts. You can grab some to snack on while you wait in the waiting room.(Grab a handful, shell the peanut, eat the peanuts, and toss the shell on the floor) While we were waiting we enjoyed a glass of beer with the tasty peanuts. We waited about another 30 – 40 min until we were greeted and was asked to choose our steak behind a glass.(Which was awesome) our server was real cool she was super friendly, checked up on us, and gave us some extra famous rolls and cinnamon butter to take home :) They started us out with those soft, warm rolls with cinnamon butter! mmm! I ordered the country fried sirloin and my boyfriend got the 16oz New York steak. We also got to choose two sides and salad came out after the bread which started to fill me up! Our meal took about 20 min to come out and by the time I was kind of full but I’ve been craving country fried steak since forever! Then he finally came out with the food and I was shocked, it was ginormous! But I probably wouldn’t order it again.(too much batter and the batter was a little salty) But, my boyfriends steak was pretty good, overall our experience was good and we definitely felt like we got more than enough food for the price we paid. Everything came out to be less than $ 40. I would come back to try other things on the menu!

Solid place. Always REALLY crowded so call ahead and save yourself a potential headache. We went at around 8:30, told the wait was 1hr but ended up waiting only 30 minutes because many people didn’t show when their party was called(yay!) Friendly greeting and our server was really nice and attentive but not overbearing(I forgot her name but she got a nice tip). The bread and butter is always good and fresh. I ordered a house salad with my meal. It came with a HUGE ramekin of ranch that I only used about half of. The salad was good though, comes with more ingredients than many other places. I always get the steak tips cooked medium with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. At times some of the meat might be tough(it’s steak tips though) but otherwise very delicious, especially those mushrooms. Skipped dessert because I was so stuffed. Great for when you’re famished and don’t want to spend a small fortune.

Well As soon as i drove up I knew it was going to be tough to get a seat. The place is packed. Trucks and cars are parked on the dirt and grass areas. I walk up peanut shell everywhere. And a person sweeping them as people are dropping them. I love those peanuts. I walk up and the bar is full. I ask the lady in the front if it is open seating at the bar and she says yes. She told me to take the little for 2 by myself. Promptly I am greeted again. I order a beer and soon a frosty mug comes out. The bar area is pumping with people. Good thing is that I got there when most people are getting done. The bar clears up and here I come. Bartenders are great. They in traduce them selves to me. They are busy with drink orders but always asking if I need something. It was easy to get their name wrong. Taylor and Tyler. Both guys had great people skills and told me about their beer specials. Saved me some money. I got their grilled chicken and pulled pork plate. with the steam veggies. Also came with a side caesar salad. After eating my salad and the yummy hot bread. I was looking forward for my meal. And let me tell you. It was way more than I thought. The chicken was juicy and tasty. The pulled pork was really good. And even the veggies were great. I ended up taking some of it home. And for the price i was very pleased. I also notice that they display there meat up in the front. Not sure if you can buy it to take home or its there to get you salivating as you wait. I gave them a 5 stars because of their service and my food. And of course for telling about the beer specials. Will come again. For people that are bringing a big group be prepared to enjoy some peanuts. But that’s the way it is when its busy. Lucky for me I’m only one. Remember the combination plate of grilled chicken and pulled pork will serve 2.

Very long wait and everyone in our group got sick! Only one of our plates came to us warm the others were cold plus I had to raise my hand like a damn child in elementary to get attention from the waitresses!

Food is good, but I’ve had better steaks. Very loud atmosphere. I hate the half cooked vegetables, but their salads are generous. Bread and sweet butter are to die for! Great drinks also!

Love this place, especially since you can call head for seating. The service is great, given that it’s in the Midland/Odessa area. The food is good, love the free rolls. Also you get free peanuts while you wait for a table and don’t worry about throwing them in the trash, the floor is recommended.

Typical of any Texas Roadhouse: crowded, very loud, quality food, good service. However, while waiting to be seated, I looked above in the rafters and saw layers of dust caked on all of the open rafters and ducts. It definitely made me think twice about what might be dropping in my food.

The food was good and our server, Krista, was great! Steaks were prepared the way they were ordered. Krista and team were very attentive. That was the positive side of my experience at Texas Roadhouse. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. She called a couple of hours ahead and requested a table for 16. What we got were two booths. One booth had the little extension added on to accommodate our party. The atmosphere was extremely noisy. The restaurant was over crowded. Our party had to basically yell at one another to converse. I know it was Friday night and that may be the scene on Friday but it was not pleasant at all. It’s tough to find a decent place to enjoy dinner with friends in Midland unless you like to drink alcoholic beverages. If you like that sort of thing. I’d rather go to Outback Steakhouse for my steaks in Midland, TX.

Hostess made us wait for 35 minutes in an empty waiting area. Gave our table away and made us wait even longer. Was not friendly at all. Thankfully, when we finally got seated Wes and Kylee took great care of us. They made up for a bad wait experience.

One of my favorite steak houses. As it says on the name of the place, I do not think that you can get more Texan than this. The dining experience here is always amazing. The meats are fresh and tender, grilled to perfection. If you are craving for a good steak, and want to enjoy it in a Texan themed place, you will be happy here.

I had a pleasant afternoon lunch here. Walked right in at around 2pm on a Saturday, no wait, seated immediately and given a nice warm bread basket to munch on. We ordered the chili cheese fries as an appetizer and they were absolutely gigantic. They were very good, but it was easily enough for 4 – 5 people to eat. I ordered the crispy chicken salad with ranch dressing, I’ve had it before and it was very good — though it was smothered in cheese, a little too much even for my taste and I love cheese.

A solid 4(+) star review. Dropped in here a couple of days ago with our work crew. We wanted a good meal, and big food. There were 11 of us, we were seated within minutes even though it was the dinner hour. Service was prompt and friendly. Drinks were served, the mug of beer I had was about 15 feet tall. Ok, not quite that big but it was Texas huge. I had the grilled pork chop, a loaded baked potato, and green beans. Sounds simple but it was an outstanding meal. Flavorful, perfectly cooked, nice portion size. Sentiment from around the table was similar, with mentions of dinner even later, and on to the next morning. I have no idea if I’ll ever be in Midland again but if I am, I’ll be dropping back in here!
