My favorite restaurant in Midland. I have been here more times than I can count. Never had a bad meal. Great service, perfect environment to eat specially if the weather allows patio sitting. Excellent wine selection! The pizza here is the best but not always on the menu. They have one lady who makes the cakes in house. Carmine is a very personable owner. A must if you visit Midland.

The seafood risotto here has become my very favorite dish in Midland. Belle Glos(pinot noir) was recommended by the owner, Carmine, which has also made it to the top of my wine list. Nice locally-owned restaurant.

Another great food experience tonight. I had a special request prep of angel hair, house marinara, shrimp and scallops, piece of orange cake, escargot, and glass of moscato, and expresso. Best Of service from entire staff, lovely setting, class act experience overall, and will def return. Thanks folks. Well done.

Hostess Rolled eyes when we said we didn’t have a reservation. Sat us outside at a dirty table. Then left us sit for over 10 minutes with no water or acknowledgement. I guess the food smelled good but we left. No anniversary dinner there that night won’t go back.

Outstanding food at a reasonable price! Atmosphere that cannot be beat. We saw them making fresh pasta during lunch today. We will be back!!!

Absolutely amazing Italian food! The food has always been great, with plenty of vegetarian-friendly choices on the menu. The service is also wonderful. It’s also a great location for reserving a party room, since I’ve been here mostly for small conventions, business meetings, interviews, & fundraisers. It’s a place I enjoy when I come here, but because it’s such a nice restaurant I couldn’t afford to come here very often. But when I got to come it was a real treat!

Beautiful evening for dinner at the patio of Venezia. My Shrimp and Clams linguini was good. My husband’s Eggplant Parmagiana was good too. The Clam Chowder tasted like Celery Soup _a good Celery Soup but nothing like Clam Chowder at all.

I can’t say I’ve tried everything that’s in Midland but out of the all the places I’ve tried so far this has been the bet tasting food. I had the shrimp and clams linguini and it was pretty tasty. I also tried the lobster bisque but didn’t care much for it, it was pretty salty. Our server was nice but took forever on everything he did. He did also look pretty lost at times. Food was good, service was mediocre.

They sat us at a table where when the sun went down we were blinded, they had plenty of tables in the shaded area but would not let us sit there. A man came to our table as I’m holding the umbrella to shade my mother and said smugly that he couldn’t help the sun. We ordered an expensive wine since we were taking my mother out and that didn’t help. Years ago when I lived in midland I would frequent this Resteraunt and was given good service. I noticed tonight the regulars were treated exceptionally well. Our wine was good and our waiter offered to decant it but we didn’t do it, the waiter SHOULD have advised us that the wine likely had sediment and we may want to consider decanting it, we would have said thank you so much please decant it. The service was SO S L O W we thought they were crowded and the owner just didn’t hire enough help(he is a little slow) but when we left the inside hardly had any one in it. Go figure! SO my hint is, if you are not a regular and you do not want to spend 2&½ hours at dinner in the harsh west Texas sunset think about going to another resteraunt.

If your not a regular you might want to consider another Resteraunt. The service was s l o w the fish was cold. Enough said!

It is really not traditional italian cuisine im italian and ive had authentic. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs and he couldnt even eat it. The meatballs tasted like the frozen kind. I tried a bite i couldnt even eat it and the sauce had water in it we complained the waiter did nothing. I ordered the lasagne and it had a tangy white sauce on it i believe it was a french bechamel. French is not authentic italian is it?

Our reservation was for 7:00. We finally were seated around 8:00 and thats only because I stood at the front desk and made sure they called our name. At 8:20 we are still waiting for our drinks and salads. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

My favorite meal is the Liquini Milano is my favorite meal. The baked avocado is superb as an appetizer. The Italian Wedding Soup is phenomenal. I also like the stuffed chicken. The wait staff is excellent: always prompt and courteous. You really cannot ask for, nor find a better dining experience in Midland, it is simple the best in town.

The food is very good quality. It isn’t quite a five star italian restaurant but still consistently very good. Pricing is good for the product and service. They lost our Christmas dinner reservation years ago and were still able to accommodate our group. Service has always been excellent. Love the food and the ambiance. Don’t waste your time at Manny’s Italian Village.

Very good for midland. Typical Italian restaurant menu. They have homemade pizza at lunch time which is good. Lunch and dinner always come with homemade crusty bread. Homemade cakes for dessert by the Slice about 8 bucks. Pasta is pretty good. Wine and beers.

This used to be the best place to go for special occasions but not anymore. Five of us went to celebrate a birthday and my friend is now in the hospital with infectious food poisoning and is very ill. She’s the only one of our group to eat the crab legs thank God but the rest of the food was less than marginal. Our server was nice but poorly trained and the place is dingy looking. The bar is closed now and when we asked why, we were told«do you know how much those licenses cost»? Actually I don’t but I wanted a mojito. When I called the restaurant to report this, the girl who answered the phone listened to the story and when I asked if I should speak to the manager she said«if it would make you feel better». It really didn’t. Sadly, this place has gone downhill and we won’t be returning. Ever.

This was the first time we ever stepped foot Into this hidden restaurant, we were seated immediately but right after that they completely forgot we were there, we sat for 15 min waiting for them to get our drink order, once they got it, it took another 15 to bring it to us, then a total of 25 to take our food order, while we were waiting the owner starts arguing with the hostess with complete disrespect to her and us, to the point where se grabbed her things and was about to quit, but the end of our finally arrived dinner we went thru 4 different servers, that was very annoying and not once did they refill our drinks, NEVER going there again over priced food and horrible service don’t mix

Classy. Elegant. The menu is very direct. HOWECER — if anything says market price stay the hell away from it!!! We had a crab leg appetizer and it was $ 60 fkn dollars! Thanks for the heads up waitstaff… but oh well lesson learned. The veal was exceptional, only complaint was it had too much cheese on top. Crab legs were typical. You pay for the ambience.

Oh Venezia’s did you disappoint. Charging for water? I get that there’s a drought, but raise the menu prices substantially and charge for water? Faux pas. Then there was the service. We ordered our salad and delayed ordering the entrée, so they wouldn’t collide. But they did. Barely into our salads, our entrée arrived. Usually we split, and usually it comes served up in 2 dishes. Not this time. Our tiny table could not accommodate our salad dishes, the entrée in its serving bowl, the 2 plates and massive serving utensils for us to divvy it up ourselves. I asked for the entrée to be returned to the kitchen while we finished our salads, and that was the last we saw of our waiter. Another waiter brought out our re-cooked entrée which we had to wait for. And no one ever stopped to check after that. We didn’t even get the option to order wine with dinner. What a disappointment!
