Sedona Grill

Food and service are mediocre… I’ve never had anything outstandingly delicious here, and it’s slightly overpriced. My favorite aspect of Sedona is their drinks! Average price, great flavor and they get the job done

Really bad. Will not be back. Such a shame because the patio is so nice. Maybe all those extra stars are for happy hour or the multitude of TV’s in the bar room. But the food was awful and the service only marginal. Disappointed.

Service was wonderful, Kristen, did a great job. The salsa is perfect, just the right amount of spicy and fresh, very fresh and tasty.
Unfortunately, the beef enchiladas were bland, and I found myself putting the wonderful salsa on everything.
The guacamole was fresh, but not that tasty.
The patio is nice, but the mosquitoes were eating ME for dinner. Even though the smokers around me did everything they could to «save» me. Still I could have never eaten inside, the smell of smoke hits you like a mack truck as soon as you walk in the door.
I’m afraid I would rate the food a 2, but Kristen ‘s service was a 5.
Leaving the overall, a 3. (I’m not sure of the math either!)
I’ll try a different place next time.

Sit out on the patio, drink some horchata, and enjoy some good ol’ Mexican food. It’s probably the best Mexican food I’ve had since I’ve moved to Midland. It’s not completely contaminated with any of that terrible «Tex-​mex» you find around town. So this place is definitely a diamond in the rough.
And trust me, when people say there is better Mexican food around. NO. THEY’RE LIARS. If you want something better, you better hop in your car and drive to Mexico or New Mexico. Just no where in Midland.
These people probably gave Cancun Bar and Grill 5 stars and… No. No. No. That place is no bueno.

I am not quite sure why I dined at Sedona this evening, perhaps it was because I desired to hit the keyboard once again and was willing to tolerate a mediocre meal just for the pleasure. Well, that is exactly what I got. I had the Enchiladas Montada (three chicken enchiladas smothered in green chile sauce and with a fried egg). The meal was really not exciting. First off, the refried beans were totally flavorless, which is hard to do considering the amount of lard that goes into refrieds. The Enchiladas were so so but the weak, runny green chile totally killed it for me – not very tasty. The high light was the salsa which was fresh and wonderful. Unfortunately, the other aspect of Sedona that should have been very positive was busted as well. The restaraunt enjoys a fantastic porch environment complete with fountains and campy plastic coconut trees with LED lighting. It did not meet its billing this evening because of the large number of smokers that totally insisted that I enjoy each and every puff right along with them. I ate outside because the smoke inside was making my eyes water.
I do not recommend Sedona Grill UNLESS you are a smoker or don’t mind tasting Camel Filterless in your food.

Came here a couple weeks ago and got a smothered burrito, it was great. The service was great too. It was during lunch time and they hardly had any customers. It’s a bit above average prices for texmex food in my opinion.

I do recommend sitting on the outdoor patio, get a margarita, put a Corona in it, drink as many as you can so that you forget you’re at one of Midlands few decent places to sit outside and relax.

Walked in… walked out. The cigarette smoke will blow you over coming from the bar. Sorry I didn’t even give them a chance but the smoke just took my breath away.

The open air patio appealed to me. However, the chips were hard, the queso was cold and the food was not spectacular. Plus, I found a hair in the queso. With so many Mexican restaurants in the area to try out, I will NOT be going back here.

This place has the worst service and the worst food and drinks. The server, Deseree, forgot our order, then forgot to bring us the bill. We sat there for an hour and never saw her. When we finally decided we’ve had enough, she came running out of the restaurant saying we owed her money, which she charged us for food we never got. The manager did nothing to appease us or make the situation better. I would never wish my worst enemy to go to this restaurant. Horrible place!

Absolute garbage! This is by far the worst place I have ever been in my life! From the service to the type of crowd this place attracts, it’s horrible. I know the service is bad in Midland, but geez! This place takes the cake on poor customer service and shitty drinks. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Save your money and stay away from this dump.

Sedona is fun for patio drinks in the summer… Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it. The food is gross and the service is the worst I’ve had in my life by a long run. But horrible service seems to be a trend in midland in the first place. Order two drinks at a time because they won’t be back to check on you by the time you’ve finished one…

We went to Sedona Grill for lunch. The restaurant was empty which was perfectly fine with us. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Food was very good! They give you huge glasses of tea or soda. I would recommend this restaurant.

I was a little disappointed that they advertised Wednesday party on the patio with all the drinks specials and food specials, but it didn’t say around happy hour. So we get there like at 730 and there weren’t any margarita specials or ribeye special. I guess, they need to be more detailed on their website.
Overall, it reminded me of Tony Tequila’s in Odessa. The ribeye I had was juicy and flavorful. The Chris’ Shrimp platter my fiancée had very small shrimps… which I predicted. My friend had chile rellano, which she said was very greasy. I didn’t like how we were sitting inside, but we can still smell cigarettes.

Salsa and queso were good, nothing else was worth eating. When my husband couldn’t even eat his food because it was so nasty, they offered to discount or refund. So, we ended up paying $ 11 for a meal with 2 bites taken out of it. Would never go back!
