The reservation system is a joke. With a reservation we waited an hour. They obviously have too much business and don’t care. I will be spreading my dollar to others to help them out. My advice is stay away

Good food, served quickly… Bonefish is no exception to the general trend… smaller portions, higher prices. Gotta love capitalism. We will try to schedule our dates here during the week in the future to get some extra value from our visit.

This place has gone down from what it was. So sorry to see that too. Service slower, food not as spicy ie. pot stickers. My Cobb salad came with blue cheese instead of regular dressing. Sent it back and my husband finished his meal before it came back! I hate to see this place become like all the other restaurants out there! Used to be above the other chains.

The food was great but I have one complaint how in the hell can you not have sweet tea? You do know you ate in the south right.

I am not a fish eater so i had the CHICKEN with potato’s and spaghetti squash… DELICIOUS… My son had the tuna with similar sides. He also highly enjoyed his meal. Service was outstanding. Price was reasonable.

Simply put we had a near perfect evening thanks to Bonefish. We ordered apps, entrees and a crème brûlée to wrap it up and everything was just OUTSTANDING. The quality and freshness of the ingredients really shone through in every dish. Their signature app, Bang Bang shrimp, is definitely worthy of that title as it’s simply awesome. She had scallops/shrimp and I had the ribeye and both were prepared perfectly. Their crab fried rice is actually well worth the rather pricey $ 4.50 upcharge because it’s just amazing and it LOADED with real crab. The desert was crème brûlée which neither of us had ever sampled before and we were not disappointed, it was just stunning… The service, timing, ambience, attention to detail were all where one would expect them to be at a higher end establishment but it wasn’t overbearing. Our server was there every instance we needed her and never interrupted us either. I do not give out five stars unless the entire experience was PERFECT and could not be improved upon and well folks, in this case, they’ve met and exceeded that mark! WEWILLBEBACK and that I can guarantee. If you’re debating about whether or not to try this restaurant just GO… The other location seemed to have quite a few bad reviews mostly relating to service and management so this location is definitely the one to hit! Thanks Bonefish Grill for a wonderful evening!

Tonight my waitress was Amanda. She was so genuine and caring. She was right on point with descriptions of foods available and extremely poised. I have been to this particular location 5 times during the last four weeks. The quality of the food never disappoints. I have had the wild sockeye salmon, the ahi tuna, seafood corn chowder, char, and plenty of the house merlot. All were fantastic. Please do not shy away from this restaurant because you are uneasy with chains. I can vouch for the quality of these restaurants throughout NC, and Va. Also, the house salad with the citrus herb vinegarette dressing is awesome. Add something me goat cheese to it too!

Went there on a Friday night for my husband and I’s birthday dinner. Had a reservation and was promptly seated. Bang bang shrimp and bread was amazing like usual. Corn and crab soup was definitely more corn than crab. All seafood dishes were more greasy than tasty. My father-in-law didn’t even eat his soft shelled crab, but they did take it off the bill when they realized he didn’t eat it. Strawberry short cake was great. My husband and I find sticking to appetizers and dessert seem to work out better for us.

The swordfish and bang bang shrimp are my favorites. The Bang Bang shrimp is so tasty, I have to order some to take home. I mean, who can eat just one serving?

When you first get into the Bonefish Grill, you have to get through a rotating door that spins around. Kinda nice, but a hassle if the place gets busy and people are constantly trying to go in and out of the restaurant. The place is not well lit and if your trying to take a photo, you will need to use flash. Our waitress was really nice and she introduced herself as Stephanie. She started us up with bread and pesto before taking our order. For the appetizer I got Bang Bang Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious! For the entrée I ordered the Ahi Tuna Steak; it was was juicy and well seasond. My cousin ordered the Special: Shrimp + Scallop Firepot and was a bit pricy for what came with it. She said it tasted a bit bland to her. Good servers, food was delicious, but can be a bit pricy for the proportion we’re getting. It’s not well lit, but makes a good atmosphere for couples.

Food was great, but customer service was horrible. You’re first greeted with a nice hostess and then after being seated. You than can start to detect the«I don’t want to be here» attitude. Not all employee are this way, but the bad ones out way the good ones. Again food was great, but customer service needs to be improved.

Great for a chain restaurant. We always sit and the community table and do apps and drinks. No waiting or pager from the hostess needed. The seafood is never overdone, and the service is always great, even when they are busy. It’s a go to place that has never disappointed.

Love the bang bang shrimp! Everything else is just okay. Well the bread is pretty damn good as well. Not a big fan of chains, but in a pinch the wife and I will dine here and The Cheesecake Factory!

Good and bad … Even on week nights, this place gets very busy and loud. Their signature Bang Bang Shrimp is fine for what it is, more of a safe bet than to die for. The bread was fresh and service was efficient, though our waitress was not particularly friendly. The wedge salad was fresh and excellent with large chunks of blue cheese. Half pound Kobe burger looked rather scrawny and was overcooked when I ordered medium. On previous occasions, they had tendency to overcook the steak as well. Mac and cheese side dish was pretty good. Another person ordered basil fettuccine where more than half the vegetable in the dish was artichokes when the description of the dish made no mention of it. The manager graciously took it off the bill and allowed us to substitute with crab cakes which were fine. Tilapia Imperial was pretty good too. All in all, it was a bit of hit or miss … 3 ½ stars.

Went on a Tuesday when they had Lobster specials. Prices were great for lobster. Lobster tails were small. Cesar salad was delicious and you could get anchovies on it. Alot of restaurants don’t offer the anchovies. I have had several different Fish dishes there at different times and they were always delicious. Bang bang shrimp and ahi tuna are delicious appetizers. Our server was great! His name is Mike. Very knowledgeable and attentive.

So glad they finally opened for lunch! Great Bang Bang Shrimp for and app and Tilapia Tacos! This is clearly one of my favorite restaurants!

It’s a shame that this is the ‘best’ seafood restaurant in this corridor of Hull Street. For real. I so much rather prefer taking my ass over to Pescado’s if I had the choice … BUT, for a chain restaurant? It really isn’t that bad. The service has improved remarkably since I’ve been here last, their craft beer selection has expanded, and their specials have done the same. I mean, I’ve never seen wolf fish as a special anywhere in the Virginias or Carolinas, and it was cooked pretty damn well. I just can’t shake the ‘chain’ bit of it. It is a pricey seafood Carabba’s spinoff. Ever sat in an Outback or a Carabba’s? Exact same atmosphere and price.

Good place, but can be nosiey and feel like you are eating with the table next to you. Went here last week for Christmas get together and my niece’s high chair was always getting in the way of the people walking by. The food was good, just not the right atmsphere if you want to hear each other talk.
