Cousin Vinnys Pizza

I love cousin vinnys! They are my go to pizza place, whether it’s four in the afternoon or one am. All the employees are super sweet every time I’m in there. Would totally recommend it to anyone. The steak pizza is my favorite!

Wow! My wife and I are visiting from out of town and we had the pleasure on Christmas Eve to enjoy pizza and wings at Cousin Vinny’s. I even returned a call after getting settled in my hotel to thank the staff for being open and delivering such great and wonderful food. I must say that you can not go wrong if you choose Pizza at Cousin Vinny’s. We will order again the next time we are in the area. Thanks

Just moved to south side recently and had been looking for a great new pizza place. This place did not disappoint, as it was very good and very affordable. One two topping pizza for $ 7.99. The dough is a little different than just about every other pizza joint around and it is very tasty, the toppings are fresh and the marinara is flavorful. Only thing I would say is that it is a tad greasy, but not really in a bad way in my opinion. Breadsticks are great as well, this is by far the best deal in pizza around. It crushes little squeezers and dominoes. Definitely give this place a try.

Great pizza! The deals price wise are a lot like Dominos or the Hut. The wings are ok, but a little pricey for what you get. The staff is friendy, and the hours go way late in case you get the munchies. Watch the entry to the parking lot. It’s a little uneven.

I am so disappointed! We just moved and are looking for a new pizza place that will deliver. Despite the reviews and great pictures, our pizza arrived not quite circular and not even sliced! The cheese bread was ok. Maybe it was an off-​night?

Not fair and Not happy. Pizza is always good — but when you have a now hiring sign out front — and call a 16 year old kid in for an interview (his first one– so naturally he’s eager and willing to agree to some things) — you should know that his intention is to work inside your store. Not walk outside for 3 hours in 95 degree heat putting flyers on people’s doors. It would have been okay if you made it clear that this was the role — but you made it seem like a short venture.
I was proud of him for being wise and turning down the next three hour run you proposed instead of allowing himself to be used along with two other kids equal to his age. If you are looking for cheap labor and marketing that the rest of your staff won’t agree to — maybe think about using a temp agency. I — for one — will no longer support your business as I feel you use people to further your business with no intent of hiring them. This was dangerous for him to boot as you dropped him off at the end of the streets! He’s underage! You don’t even have his info — what if he had gotten hurt!

Great food! I normally receive great customer service, but the last time I called the manager was argumentative and rude. As a regular customer I don’t feel it’s appropriate to argue with the customer. I work in a restaurant and I never argue with a customer.

Great pizza, just the right combination, crust was perfect, the marinara was 100% on, the mozzarella cheese, just right. Great job! Ordered the plain wings appetizer, the order was better than plain, fresh tasting roasted wings, I would give these guys 6 stars, and excellent customer service!

YUM! I love this pizza. We’ve tried a lot of different pizza places around Midlothian, and this one is our favorite. They have a really nice crispy fluffy crust, their sauce is good, ingredients are good, everything tastes really good. The cheese bread is so good too.
Plus it is super cheap!

I’ve received flyers for this place in the mail continuously for the last year so I thought I would give it a try. My daughter and I stopped in a got a quick pizza to go.
Price: A+, A large two topping pizza was only 7.99. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a large pizza that cheep.
Atmosphere: C, The Place looks like it was in the middle of a remodel. To me the place seems really large for only offering take out. Not so bad, but there were only three chairs in the waiting area. Another family had arrived before us, so naturally we stood up for the ten minutes it waitied to get our pizza.
Speed: A+, Pretty Darn Fast. I haven’t got delivery from here yet, but might give it a try in the future.
Taste: B, The ingredients were good, we got a pepperoni and sausage, and it tasted delicious. Where I fault their pizza was the dough. The dough was unbelievably greasy. We make a lot of fresh pizza at home, so with some expertise they either baked it on steal and used an UNBELIEVABLE amount of oil to the steal or they added an UNBELIEVABLE amount of oil to the dough. Pizza was editable, just way to much oil.
Will I return? Probably. They are one of ten pizza joints around the house. I’ve got a couple to knock off the list first, but I will probably give them another try.

I think they make a great pizza but I had mine delivered and they consistently screw up the order. This is the 2^nd time I’ve asked for extra garlic dipping sauce and didn’t receive ANY dipping sauce at all. I’ve practically given up on asking for extra cheese because they don’t seem to grasp the concept of extra cheese. Pizza Hut gets the concept of extra cheese and I guess since their customer service is better, for example willing to correct a mistake such as not delivering what I ordered they will get my business from here on out.

The staff is very polite and helpfull. We always have to buy 3 or 4 pizzas because everyone in the family likes something different. Young man behind the counter talked my son into trying a new style pizza. He loved it! Were down to two pizzas that everybody likes. The pizza was very good. You would not expect it from a strip mall pizza joint but it was better then most anything I’ve tasted. Price was good and the pizza was great. Thanks to brett for suggesting the Cream and Crimson pizza.

We were looking for a place beyond the usual pizza hut or known chains. I came across this as a new one and a close one so I said why not.
The pizza was done very quickly too order we got the cheese bread and the American Favorite pizza.
The cheese bread is very buttery and cheesy very much worth the price as an appetizer. The pizza was much better salty but still the ingredients were fresh and the taste was good. I would think about using them again.

This place’s biggest selling point is definitely that they are open extremely late, whereas no other place in the general is that I can think of. On top of that, the pizza is priced well and very delicious — much better than what you’d get at any pizza chain. I’m a fan!

I never really gave cousin vinnys a go because I assumed it was disgusting «broke college boy with the munchies» pizza but recently my mind has completely changed. My family wanted to order pizza late at night and here was the only one still open so late. We decided to try the Florentine pizza which is an Alfredo sauce pizza topped with mushrooms, bacon, mozzarella, provolone, chicken, spinach, feta and garlic. To my family’s surprise it ended up being the most delicious pizza we ever tasted! I’m almost sad I didn’t know about florentine pizza until just three days ago. You must try!!!

If you like good pizza at a great price this is the place for you. I stopped in after work last Tuesday and to my delight it was 2 for 1 Tuesday. I went for the Polynesian and the meats. Ah the Polynesian was a pie full of greatness, BBQ sauce, mozzarella, provolone, feta, chicken, pineapple and bacon. That’s all of my favorites on one dish. The meats was your standard meat lovers but delicious still. The hot bubbling cheese is what really made it for me. If you’re in the area this is worthy of a try.

Hubby picked up a pizza from here on the way home after I burnt dinner to a blackened crisp… We were really impressed. Great taste & friendly staff.
The reason for knocking it down a star was service was a little slow for a Tuesday night (I guess everyone has caught on to the great deal!)
The place is a great alternative to the chain pizza joints. They are very affordable & have a great BOGO free deal on Tuesdays!
We got a Polynesian specialty pizza (BBQ sauce, feta cheese, chicken, bacon & pineapple) it was delicious and a lot different from most hawiian style pizza offerings from other restaurants. They do not skimp on the toppings and use real, fresh bacon and chicken (not the bagged kind that comes in pre-​cooked.) The BBQ sauce added a tangy-​sweetness to the pie & the crisp crust almost has a buttery biscuit taste that doesn’t sound like it would be good but is actually delicious! We will definitely be ordering from here more often!

My husband and I used to get the common pizza chains all the time. But since we found this place, its what we order 95% of the time. My favorite is a pizza with spinach, mushrooms, feta, and garlic. My husband usually hates getting mushrooms from chain stores because they look/​taste like they came out of a can. But Cousin Vinny’s look/​taste plump and fresh. Their toppings are much better quality. It also reheats well.
We usually dont order breadsticks but we tried them one day because a friend wanted them… mmm mmm mmm. Their handtossed breadsticks are buttery and have some type of cheese (like a crushed parmesan topping) on top of them. They taste different than others. Similiar concept as Little Caesar’s breadsticks, but much much better!
I agree with another poster that the garlic dipping sauce is much better than other chains as well.

Hands down, some of the best delivered pizza I’ve had. And they deliver hours after Taco Bells have closed. Score. Try out their Florentine pizza. Makes me want to go fat-​boy mode and eat the whole damn thing
