This place is amazing! Such great food, great atmosphere, great staff, great happy hour! Phenomenal! Highly recommend!

We have only been there for happy hour but loved it. Great happy hour specials on beer and appetizers. Awesome selection of craft beer! Bar is small but people and staff friendly. Love it!

Been coming to this Midlothian institution for many years. They have an extensive passion for micro brews and between 4−7pm everyday their appetizer menu is half off! I love the Mediterranean mussels and calamari with a nice local beer.

This place is great! Little family-​owned Italian restaurant with great pizza and pastas! I love that they have a relatively large bar-​although I think it’s just beer and wine. It’s a great place to eat out on a Friday night with good friends and yummy food.

I have been going to Sergio’s for the last 25 years. This place never disappoints. Great appetizers, pizza, entrees, and now a phenomenal craft beer selection. On top of all of that, they are a great family restaurant and love their regulars as well as newcomers. There is a reason why this place is always crowded, great food, great people and great service.

Saw this restaurant while we were out. Decided to try it and I’m glad we did! Excellent service and food. The garlic bread was amazing!

Being from New Jersey I was really surprised how good the pizza was at Sergio’s — the thin crust is cooked to perfection and holds up to the weight of the 4 toppings I like. My hat is off to the pizza maker. They have other dishes of course but I have only tried the Calamari and the Chicken Picata — both were top rate. Will be back and I highly recommend you try it.

We recently moved to VA and we’re delighted to find so many nice restaurants including Sergio’s where we had lunch today. We will be back on a Tuesday evening to try their dinner special.

Have been wanting to try for a while. Decided to stop in on a Friday night at around 7. Had guests from out of town with me, so we wanted to be seated quickly.
Now the place was packed so we expected to wait and at the door they said ½ hr minimum wait. We almost left but then 5 min later we were seated. The rest of the service that followed was similar, although they were very busy we hardly had to wait for anything. The service was great. Cheese sticks wee big, pizza was great, mussels were great, and of course the beer selection topped it off.
Will definitely be back!

Very popular with locals. Usually have to wait for a table because they take good care of you and don’t rush you out the
door. The service has always been prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. On our most recent visit our server, Coral, was a delight. She helped us with samples of the craft beers and made sure we knew about happy hour. We visit frequently and haven’t been disappointed yet.

We had the Alla Romana pizza, and it was spectacular! We will definitely order pizza from here again.

My husband and I play indoor soccer at XL Sports in Midlothian on the weekends and when we have early games, our team likes to head out to a local spot for dinner. This Saturday we tried Sergio’s and we are glad we did. First off, we showed up with a large party without a reservation. They sat us within minutes of our arrival and the server greeted us within minutes. I should mention that service was great, very prompt the entire time.
Sergio’s only serves beer and wine, and they have a solid selection. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so asked the server for a recommendation. She suggested and I tried a champagne cocktail with hibiscus. It was great! A little sweet for me, so one was enough. The beer drinkers in the crowd were pleased with the selection of craft beers.
For food people ordered everything from pizza to pasta and salads. I had a Greek salad and requested grilled shrimp be added. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the salad was terrific… just what I wanted. My husband shared a meat lovers pizza with a few of the guys on the team and they ate every crumb… it was a hit. My daughters had pasta — pasta with vodka sauce and stuffed shells. The portions were huge and they were happy to bring home leftovers.
I really enjoyed Sergio’s and it will be added to our regular rotation.

Stopped by Sergio’s last night on the way to a movie at the nearby Regal megaplex. I’d been here once before but thought it was just so-​so in the pizza department back then. I’m glad I tried again, because it was quite good this time. We didn’t want to wait for a table so we sat in the bar area, where it was hopping on a Friday night. With only 2 bartenders behind the bar and a bar filled with eating & drinking patrons, I got worried that we were in for a slow experience, but that was not the case at all. We were greeted quickly, given menus, and a hand-​editing of the beer menu so we knew what was already 86’d. Very helpful! The beer menu was quite deep and the bartender was quick with an offer to let me taste any of the beers I questioned.
After we put in our order for an app and a pizza, he made another cycle asking if we needed refills or anything else… quite impressive for a busy bar. A few minutes later, the mozzarella sticks arrived and were pretty darn good. They could have been a little hotter in the middle, but even warm cheese is good cheese; the crust was perfect and the sauce tasty. A few minutes more brought the pizza: a meat lover’s minus the hamburger (it doesn’t belong on a pizza.) Good thin crust, crispy all the way to the center, and pretty generous toppings. I wish the sauce had a little more spice to it, but it was still good. Despite the bar remaining busy, our service never showed it. We got the standard check-​in and offers of refills, with enjoyable banter all the way.
I must say I was impressed and will return again to Sergio’s. I think I’ll continue to sit in the bar because it’s a friendly area with good service and quick access to the taps.

Excellent Italian food. Excellent service. They do have a outdoor eating section, but it is non smoking. The baked ravioli is a great starter, but you better have a slice of their pizza. They have the NY style pizza, although the size is a little smaller :) They also have an excellent chicken Caesar salad I would recommend. Enjoy!

Best place to go for a beer by me. They have a long draft list of both local and national brews that rotates as the kegs come and go. I’m able to bring my pregnant wife along because she can munch on some of their delicious home made mozerella sticks while I’m tasting whats new on the draft list, before our pizza comes out. (Did I mention they have amazing pizza?)
Something for everyone. Great beers for the craft beer lover. Great pizza for the family dining experience. They also have a full Italian menu and a specials menu of some contemporary non-​Italian food that I have yet to try — its just hard to turn down the pizza once I’m there.
So glad I found this place, keep up the good work Sergio’s!

Hidden gem of a place; great craft beer in Midlothian with a rotating list. Happy Hour in the bar Monday — Saturday 3PM — 7PM with ½ off ALL appetizers and $ 2.00 off beers. Sunday starts at 11 AM with drink specials then appetizers ½ off at 3PM. Pizza is unbelievable – thin crust bursting with flavors. Hubs is a fan of the white pizza with bacon. Homemade chicken tenders, bruschetta with toppings falling off, spinach artichoke dip that is incredible, and a pasta salad that makes you wonder why you would bother with fries as a side.
Friday and Saturdays can get crowded at the bar but you always feel like you are welcomed.

Sergio’s is our go to pizza spot off hull street. Their pizza is great but I love the pizza alla romana (even artichokes). It’s always yummy.
Don’t sleep on the white pizza either. If you aren’t feeling the pie try the rigatoni campaganola or Ziti all Siciliana.

Stopped here on the way out of town and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely tucked away in a little shopping center. We wouldn’t have found it without Unilocal.Standard décor, clean, pleasant piped in classics (think music from the movie Goodfellas) and friendly staff.
First the caprese — the tomatoes were fresh and the basil was plentiful. You would think a place that makes its own mozzarella sticks would go that extra step and make fresh mozzarella as well. Alas, straight out of the package. The balsamic reduction was yummy though. Hubby was going to get a side salad but they no longer serve French or thousand island dressing (still on the menu)? What’s up with that?
When the pizza came out we were a little unsure — the crust looked store bought. But oh MY was it good! Excellent sauce — the amount was just right. I hate places that over sauce their pizza. We ordered extra cheese and that’s exactly what we got. They spare no expense with the luscious cheese! That’s another pet peeve of mine — ordering extra cheese and not being able to tell. Not at Sergio’s though!
Overall a really good lunch. Reasonably priced as well. $ 21 for a medium pizza and caprese with 2 drinks.

½ price appetizers and $ 2 off craft beers from 4 – 7. Excellent specials menu as well! The food tasted great. The only drawback was that the booths are quite small so there wasn’t much elbow room. We will definitely become regulars here.
